Staying at James’ artistic, clean abode was the welcome “retreat” I needed. James and I had timely, regular communications, so everything was clear. Daisy dog was being looked after by a neighbor, which was best for all concerned. So I cared for cat Princess Buttercup, Guinea Pig, and Cricket, the bearded dragon, all very gentle-natured critters. Princess B-cup always returned after a few hours, or even all day outside, and her meowing clearly signaled her needs. She snuggled easily, putting her head on my shoulder even. Guinea pig loved carrots and his refreshed cage.. it was my first time encountering a bearded dragon, such an intriguing character, mellow cricket-and-blueberry loving guy. James allowed me to do a bit of garden tidying, and I truly felt in my element. A perfect place to relax. PS this is a tree-surrounded setting, near gardens, open space hiking, and open fields, so a few spiders, bees, flies, etc. are normal fare. I loved it all.
We had some really good belly laughs with these four corgis who each had their own very distinct little personality! They are snugglers - snuggling with us when we watched TV, or seat on the front deck overlooking the awesome view of the mountains or when we all settled down in the big beautiful bed surrounded by windows framing tree tops or when we tried to do our morning stretch on the floor. And they are enthusiastic - about going for a car ride, playing ball in the park, meal time. walking the neighborhood or just going outside! Sometimes their enthusiasm gets them so keyed up that they get into little tiffs. We highly recommend you follow the directions that Mary and Mary will share with you which will keep peace amongst the pups. When they get feisty it can get a little stressful so as recommended, split them up when you put them outside or in the car. We even took the oldest Georgie on his walk by himself. He is a little slower and we think he enjoyed the extra attention. The Marys are great communicators. You will clearly know what to do and how to do it. And they will always get back to you if you have a question or two. The house is well stocked, comfortable and roomy. We never met the Marys however they made us feel very welcomed and relaxed in their mountain home with their fur family. We highly recommend this pet sit.
We have had the pleasure of sitting for Diana 3 times now, and we feel so fortunate to have been given the opportunity. Diana and George are the most wonderful couple - warm, friendly, generous and excellent communicators. Freddie is a delight and we enjoyed every minute of our time with him. The home is beautiful and so comfortable. It's also hard to imagine a more spectacular part of the world than overlooking Sirius Cove. Walking Freddie in Mosman, the national park and along the coast is a joy. This is truly a dream house sit!
I have nothing but great things to say about sitting for Brandi’s home and adorable cat Dorian. Brandi’s super dope, communicative, and friendly with a beautiful personality. Dorian’s chill af and we got along amazingly. The location’s great and located a few minute walk away from the subway 1 train which takes you towards lower Manhattan. Thanks for everything Brandi!
