Abby was an awesome house sitter and more importantly a pet sitter. She took care of our pets like they were her own. She sent pictures and videos and sent texts to alleviate our concern about leaving our pets at home. I would 100% let Abby sit for us again.
I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time at Sarah and David’s place. They were both lovely, quick communication and I really enjoyed chilling in the garden and eating the beautiful fresh vegetables. Pebbles was such a cutie- following me everywhere and sleeping on top of me. She is the friendliest cat. Also easy links into central London in 30 mins and I enjoyed the local walking paths and going into Kingston . Would recommend
I spent a lovely couple of days at Denny and Richards house looking after the adorable Daisy. She’s a very friendly, intelligent and well behaved dog who was absolutely no trouble at all to look after. The house is very comfortable and cosy and well placed for walks along the Exe estuary and the surrounding countryside right from the door. I would definitely recommend this sit for anybody who loves Labradors and wants to take the opportunity to explore this part of Devon with Exeter, Dartmoor, the south coast etc all close by.
Claudia and David were very welcoming hosts. We arrived the night before they were leaving town and enjoyed a relaxing dinner together followed by a quick trip out on their boat. We had our own space downstairs with everything we could need. Claudia has written directions for everything we needed to know about Lilly and Ninja's feeding routine. The raw diet may sound complicated, but it was not. I got into a routing after the first day and didn't have any problems. When Claudia says that her cats just eat their supplement pill, they really do! I have never seen that before. And communication was very easy with Claudia both before and during the sit. I was able to alert her to one of supplements getting low, and she had it ordered and delivered before they got home. Lilly and Ninja were the best...such sweet girls. I enjoyed having one or the other of them on my lap in the evenings to watch tv. We would always have some play time as well. Ninja loves her tunnel. They both enjoy their time outside. You will too. The back patio is the best place to spend your time. It was cool most of the day because it is shaded. You can sit and watch wildlife all day. The deer go across left to right in the morning and come back in the evening. We even got to go out on the lake with kayaks. There happened to be a dock concert at the end of the peninsula while we there. I could sit out back and enjoy the music and see all the boats that had come to enjoy it as well. The only reason we rating it down a star was because of an issue we had with large roaches in the kitchen at night. Claudia said they had sprayed for them right before they left. It could be from being right on the lake, I don't know. We dealt with it by trying not to go upstairs after dark. ;) The house and kitchen were extremely clean so that is not an issue. And, there were virtually no bugs of any kind anywhere else. We had a nice time at Claudia's house. It is very relaxing and beautiful place to spend time with wonderful cats.
Alec and Allison are very kind and welcoming! Their home was clean and comfy and in a great spot. The community pool and hangout area was very nice and relaxing. We fell in love with Esco right away 💙 He’s a gentle giant who just wants attention, love, cuddles and mostly food 😂 He’s very easy to care for and Alec was always available via text for any questions or information. We miss our new buddy Esco already and would come back to stay with him any time!
Peppa is a super cute and highly energetic dog; very smart and always excited to see you. Loves long walks but happy to relax afterwards. House is small but clean and tidy. Great location between Glenhuntly and Ormond Train stations. Good spot to walk to a cafe for coffee!
We had a great time watching after Willie & Bertie! They´re both very lovely dogs. While Bertie made sure the home is safe (by barking off any strangers or birds^^), Willie spent more time napping. The house has a huge garden and is surrounded by sugar cane fields which is really nice :) Allan also allowed us to use his tools to continue the work on our van and I was able to use their office in the shed/storehouse across the garden to work online (wifi there was better than through mobile data in the house). Both Allan and Clare are very welcoming and nice people and communication was very easy. Definitely recommend for other sitters!
