We really can't say enough good things about Jane as she is simply wonderful! She has cared for Percy on 4 occasions now and for very good reason. Always prompt, easy to communicate with and fantastic with Percy. We always feel very relaxed knowing our home and dog are in such capable hands and it is a pleasure to return home to a clean and tidy house.... and a very happy and contended dog! We would have Jane back in a heartbeat, and very much hope that she will sit for Percy again very soon!

Trevor

Trevor was very dependable and easy to communicate with. We had an enjoyable supper with him. My cleaner was here one morning and she said that Archie adored Trevor and wasn't interested in her. Archie would normally be very keen to see her! Trevor took Archie on walks and played in the garden with him. She also enjoyed Trevor's wonderful violin playing - previously encouraged as I am also a musician though not as good as Trevor.

Naoise

Naoise, I seriously cannot say enough wonderful things about you. My home, my plants, and most importantly, Comet, were SO WELL TAKEN CARE OF during your entire stay!!!! Naoise is so patient, kind and extremely reliable. My pet is a little anxious and definitely a leash puller on many occasions, and I, NOT ONCE, felt unsteady to leave her with Naoise. She always reassured me and made me feel like taking care of Comet was so easy. For someone who loves their pet and gets so nervous leaving her with others, I felt so safe. Thank you so much for everything. I would have her look after comet a million times over. By far the best sitter I’ve had!

Rosa & Mark

Rosa looked after out three dalmatians very well despite a number of issues due to dog illness, dogs stealing remote controls and Wi-Fi breakdowns thanks Virgin. We were able to leave the dogs with her for the second time despite them being only puppies.

Chris

Chris and our cat Mimosa got along beautifully! Everything was very easy to organize with him. He left our apartment in immaculate shape, it was super easy to communicate with him. He's really friendly and easy-going. We would love to have Chris back to sit for Mims again!

Ruth

Ruth was our last minute saviour on these dates! A last minute cancellation left us in a very difficult position, but Ruth and her husband were fortunately available to sit for us at very little notice! We are hugely grateful for this, and for how great they were with both Digby and the chickens! I’m sure Digby still dreams of his 12 mile walk through farmers fields and hedges 😂 I’ve never seen him so chilled out as I did upon returning that day! They are both welcome to sit for us any time in future! ❤️

Norena & Mike

Very grateful for Norena House sitting for us quite last minute. Sadly did not get to meet her as we had a very early morning flight, but communication was great, we recieved daily updates and pictures which put our minds at ease. When we arrived home the house was clean and tidy and the cats were very happy. Would welcome Norena back anytime 😊

We cannot speak highly enough of Mari and Themis as pet and house sitters. From our first contact with them we were reassured that they had Alfie's best interests and the care of our home central to their visit. They were very diligent in asking questions about Alfie's routine and came a couple of days early to get to know him. There was excellent communication before and during the sit. When we returned, the house was clean and tidy and a very happy dog. They are a delightful, mature and friendly couple and we loved spending time with them. We would be very keen to have them sit again.

Tracy & Alun

Tracy and Alun were perfect housesitters. They cared for our ducks and home like it was their own. Alun even cleaned out our duck pond - which was way above and beyond our remit and no small task to undertake! We would have them back anytime and would 100% recommend to anyone who is looking for a housesitter.

Leigh

Leigh was a brilliant pet/house sitter. She coped well with our terrier who has a mind of her own and she indulged our miniature dachshund as much as we do! The dogs had obviously been very happy with Leigh. The house was immaculate on our return and she welcomed us home with a bowl of delicious home made soup! We had Leigh to stay the night before we left and we now feel we have made a new friend. She is a warm, easy-to-get-to-know person and we shall not hesitate to contact her again when we next go away.

Jennifer and Cendy were really terrific housesitters, and we are so glad that we had an opportunity to meet them and entrust them with our house and our pets.  They were a really kind pair, and we immediately felt that our home was in great hands when we met them the night before our departure.  During our trip, they were very communicative and responsive, keeping us updated on our pets and on anything going on in our house and our neighborhood.  If we ever reached out, we would always get an immediate response!  Upon returning home, our house was spotless and you could tell that our animals really enjoyed their time with Jennifer and Cendy -- they truly didn't skip a beat.  They had left a nice crop of welcome-home flowers on our dining room table for us and we could easily transition back into our normal routine!  Two huge thumbs up for Jennifer and Cendy!

Amazing sit that I can only recommend!!!

I stayed at this beautiful place for 3,5 weeks with a short travel weekend in between, as the family came home between vacations. This was already planned during the application phase and went over smoothly. Communication was super friendly, fantastic and very uncomplicated right from the beginning. Hilde Kristin was always very quick and helpful if any questions arose.

I felt right at home in this place, very cozy and open at the same time. Everything was as described; the garden was huge and I spent a lot of hours out there in the sun. Taking care of the plants (especially in the green house and inside) was easy. You can go for amazing hour long walks through the hills right from the back of the property. There were maps and prospects and travel info from Hilde Kristin, so I knew what to do and where to go :) From a bus stop, about 5min walk away, buses went to Bergen every half hour or so. Supermarket was right next to it.

I just loooooved the animals. Right from the start, Kodak wanted lots of cuddles and followed me around when she wasn't sleeping on her cat tower. Muskat came by once a day and sometimes wanted to be petted but mostly stayed out of sight. The chickens were always ready to get some snacks, just like the bunnies. Cleaning the hen house and feeding everyone was light work. I liked it alot to spend time with the animals during the day (e.g. with the bunnies in their outside enclosure, taking pictures of the chicken). Miss them all already...

Thank you for this really great opportunity and I'd love to be back for another sit!!!
