Housesitting for Natalie and Kia with Wilbur was fantastic! They were very communicative prior to and during my sit and provided a welcome guide with everything to know about Wilbur, their space, and things to do in the area (and even left some homebread bread, which was amazing!) Wilbur is the sweetest cat! He is really friendly and easy to care for. He loves to be brushed and lounging in your company. I absolutely recommend Natalie, Kia, and Wilbur! Thank you for everyone!
I Had a wonderful time at Anna’s, her apartment is well equipped and right by the station so great for getting around and exploring Berlin. Winchik is the sweetest dog ever and loves to chill out and cuddle but then also gets very excited by his daily walks so it was the best of both worlds! The kitties are adorable together, they love playing, cuddling up to each other and bathing in the sun. Luna is very confident whereas Jerry is a bit more frightened but by the end of my stay they were both purring away with me on the sofa. Anna is very warm and welcoming and made me feel very comfortable during my stay. I will miss the fur babies and wouldn’t hesitate to come back and look after them again!
We loved our stay with Jax and Jelli. They are such cute dogs and just love having people around. Very affectionate and low maintenance. The apartment was very nice and the bed was super comfortable. AC unit in the bedroom worked great. We weren’t familiar with Brooklyn geography and this neighborhood wasn’t as walkable as some others. We had a friend who lives in another part of Brooklyn and that was a 30 minute Uber ride, so just be aware of that if you’re planning a trip. Chelsea was great to communicate with and helped make sure our arrival and departure times worked for us. We will miss those doggies- they were so very sweet!
We had the very best time looking after Charlie, Miley, and the chickens during our 2 week housesit. Kirsty and Ollie were so warm and welcoming, they made sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable while they were away. They are great communicators and left us detailed information about the house and neighborhood. Charlie and Miley are the SWEETEST girls. They filled our days with so much fun and affection. Charlie is the definition of unconditional love - she just wants to be where you are, and if you’d be willing to just throw the tennis ball and give her pets all day long she will be over the moon! Miley is a little shy at first but once she warms up she is as just as sweet and affectionate as Charlie. Just be prepared - these two have the cutest “puppy dog eyes” we’ve ever seen and they will make your heart melt (and want to do whatever it is they are wanting). Caterham is a lovely town and their home is a short walk to everything you need, including the rail station. The neighborhood is really peaceful and there were a number of beautiful wooded trails to explore nearby that the girls absolutely love. We are so glad we found this sit and met this family. Couldn't have asked for a better experience!
