Bruce
Patti and Bruce are warm, generous, healthy, and happy people. You will feel lucky to have met them. They left me chocolate, wine, and a spotless house, which made staying tidy easy. Their garden produced heirloom tomatoes, berries, grapes, and cucumbers (delightful!).

Daily geese and osprey visited the river behind their home, and their property had turkey and deer as residents. They have created a natural paradise.

Their animals, Linus, Luna, and Chick-chick, are the perfect playful company. They are loved animals. I have never met a chicken who enjoys humans as much as chick-chick: she will come to the front door and squawk to greet you.

Patti and Bruce’s home is close to town (12 minutes away) yet strikes the perfect harmony of peaceful living.

Carolyn
Sitting for Carolyn and Bobby is a fantastic experience! Caring for their sweet lab, Maggie, was an absolute pleasure as she is such a love, super smart and a fun character to hang out with on neighborhood walks, strolling the beach or just relaxing in their lovely, peaceful home. She is a wonderful dog and friend.
Carolyn is very prepared with clear, thorough written instructions and responsive to questions. We really appreciated, and found it helpful, that they planned the day prior to departure for us all to become acquainted, comfortable with Maggie and she with us, and graciously opened their home to us for the week. We instantly felt welcome and genuinely felt like old friends getting back together. Hilton Head is abundant with activities including several great beach options, golfing, tennis, restaurants and more within a very short drive or ride (bikes included). Their house is well-appointed with a very comfortable bed, living space/furnishings, BBQ grill on a deck with amazing sunset, water way views and only a handful of steps from a large swimming pool. The neighborhood is very quiet, surrounded by nature but still centrally located on the island. We met many of Carolyn's neighbors while walking Maggie and they are delightful, friendly and helpful people. Our experience tops our list and we highly recommend, hope to return someday soon!
