Chris & Caroline’s comfortable home is set in a quiet and beautiful location. They also have fields nearby which are full of ancient oaks and beech trees and it’s a lovely walk with the dogs. The dogs were a mixed bunch to take care of. Cara was relatively easy going. Pedro is a lovely dog and eager to please but he needs a firm hand. His size makes others scared and he is also strong willed and boisterous. If you are experienced with large dogs he would be no trouble. We enjoyed our stay and recommend the sit for people with experience of large dogs. Lots to see in the area and close to several pretty market towns and villages.
This was my first ever house sit and I suspect I have been spoiled! Communication was good and I met Heather and Marvin the night before their trip at her suggestion, which was great as we got to chat and I had a tour of the house etc. Their home is beautiful and comfortable in a lovely part of the country. I was literally living in my dream kitchen!! Cups of tea in the south facing garden were a delight, often with one of the cats for company. Lexi and Luna are very sweet, friendly, 'chatty' cats. They have their own chairs in the TV lounge and will happily sit with you when in there, responding with purrs and rolling over when stroked. Very easy and undemanding to look after. Thank you for having me, I'd very happily sit again. 😊
