Cat Sitters in Richmond, VA

Molly and Rick were wonderful with our sweeties, and great communicators. I also appreciate the efforts that they made to keep the apartment clean, including the sheets and towels so I won't have to add this to my plate when coming back from the weekend with three teens.

This was our first experience of sharing our home and labrador with house sitters, and we were a little nervous about being on the other side of the world for three whole weeks. We needn’t have worried. Madelyn and Graydon were super organised and we had excellent communication before and during the stay. Frequent updates on Molly who was clearly happy to have found some younger playmates and thrived, I think she is missing them already. At my request they arrived a day early so we could do a proper hand-over and they were great guests for this time. House was spotless and they left a detailed report of their experiences with the house and Molly which were very helpful as a hand-back. We would jump at the chance of having them here again if they are available.

Sara and John were excellent sitters! I mainly communication with Sara and she was always prompt, efficient and super polite. She sent pics every day (not necessary, but I did love them!) and asked good questions prior to their stay. The cats were happy when we returned -- which for me indicates they were also happy when we were gone. Sara & John arrived on time, left when they indicated they would and took amazing care to tidy up -- changed and washed the sheets and towels and left the house immaculate. I'd definitely have them back again. (Thanks, guys! Hope to have you here another time!)

Ella was absolutely amazing!! I cannot give her enough praise for the fantastic job she did. I felt so safe and comfortable leaving my cat with her and could tell that she was extraordinarily well taken care of when I came back. And the house was spotless! Not only was she a great pet sitter she is also a lovely person, I would have her back in a second.

Hana’s care for the cats and the house was excellent. We would not hesitate to engage Hana agin for future sits.

Nicole came for a long weekend and took care of my horses, dog, and cat. She had good prior experience doing farm sitting and was familiar with a barn and horses. They were fed and cared for following the instructions very carefully. Nicole handled some complications with the dog competently without a problem, and the cat adored her. The house and barn were left tidy and the plants and garden were all still alive after several very hot days. Overall a good experience.

We cannot say enough good things about Annemarie and her care of our dog and home. She knows Roo from a prior sit, so within minutes they were best friends again. She kept in touch with us regularly and sent photos of Roo which we loved. He is very stubborn about not eating when we are gone, so she tried different things with our suggestions and permission. Annemarie took excellent care of our home and plants, both inside and out. She even had muffins for our breakfast the morning after we got home! Annemarie is great about handling whatever comes her way. She has emergency numbers, of course, but she has never had to use them thankfully. We will happily have her care for Roo whenever we go away. We know he is in excellent hands.

Ginny & Chris are honest, reliable, friendly and relaxed people who have a genuine love of animals. When they arrived they got the usual barking welcome from Molly but within minutes she was calm and comfortable. Both our cats usually disappear when visitors arrive however they instantly took to our sitters and hung around all night. Flo is an old dog and you have to be patient with her. Ginny & Chris have experience with older dogs and were keen to know everything about her so she would be comfortable while we were away. They kept us updated while we were away with photos and little videos of our pets which was lovely and very much appreciated. Upon arriving back all our animals were healthy, happy and relaxed. The house was clean and tidy and Ginny and Chris had cooked a lovely dinner for us. If you want interesting, relaxed, friendly and reliable pet loving people then this couple totally fit the bill. We would not hesitate to have them back. Thank you for looking after our beautiful animals and home.

Isak and Carolien were wonderful housesitters! They came by before our trip to meet the pets and get a tour of the house, and they were so nice and sweet to our dog and cat. They took Ruby on walks while we were gone, sent updates, and left the house very clean. We’d be happy to have them return!

Morgan did a great job with watching Roxy and taking care of my home. She did some laundry, cleaning and even cut up extra treats for Roxy for when I got home. She was super easy to communicate and coordinate with. We’d love to have her back if she’s ever in the area again!

I was wonderful to work with Trinity leading up to and during the sit. Macy, my dog, looked so happy in the updates Trinity shared during my trip. And she kept the house clean and the plants alive and healthy. Would recommend her to anyone.
