We had a delightful time in Edinburgh with Frank and Betty. They were both very easy to look after and mostly kept to themselves. The Robertson’s house is spacious and comfortable – we felt very much at home there and would love to return someday. This is a beautiful, interesting part of the world, and we felt extremely fortunate to explore it.
Communicating with Dr Mia was excellent before and during the housesit. Her home is cozy, clean, and comfortable. She’s very organized and left detailed instructions; her system made it very easy to care for Leo and meet his needs. Now as for Leo, that’s my new best buddy! He’s the most easy going dog I’ve ever seen. He takes quick walks, eats well, and lounges a lot. He’s also VERY obedient, friendly with other people/dogs, and even knows to wipe his feet when he returns home from a walk. It is the cutest thing! He has a cute little personality too. When he wants to cuddle, he’s sweet like a big teddy bear. If he’s afraid (there were 4th of July fireworks and a few thunderstorms), he becomes a little baby. He also “communicates” well and tells you exactly what he needs. I told Dr Mia I think he‘s half human. Ha! If our schedules align, I’d definitely housesit for Dr Mia and Leo again.
