The highlight of our stay, and the main reason for writing this glowing review, was hanging with Molly Monk. She is an older dog who communicates her wants and needs quite well. Luckily I spent the majority of my time at the kitchen table working on my laptop. When Molly wanted to go outside she would simply paw once at the patio sliding glass door which is in the kitchen area. If she wanted food (even if her dish was full) she would scratch at the can with the dry food in it. I would proceed to take 3-4 kibbles in the scoop and place them on the food already in the bowl. This tactic worked twice to prompt her to eat. If Molly wanted a taste of yogurt or cheese, she would sit in the middle of the kitchen floor and bark once. She will also paw at you while sitting on the couch. I would coax her up or simply give her some affectionate attention which seemed to be what she was looking for. She is an absolute love of a dog and a joy to be around. The house itself is beautifully restored! Parking on the street is easy, the house clean and comfortable in an accessible location to some of our favorite local restaurants like Mole Mole, Pasture, Bollywood Theater and Petite Provence. We also discovered a 'new favorite to us' brewery in the area called Baerlic Brewing. We were thrilled to be able to spend time at Lauren and Andrew's home while visiting family in Portland. We only met with Lauren during this visit. We look forward to chatting with Andrew and Kit during our next stay with Molly.
Such sweet souls - Cocoa & Nouille were so much fun and funny with their hints as meal time was near. Cuddling on the sofa, riding in the car or clipped into the stroller for a beach side walk at Royal Roads they were just the best behaved girls. Jena was so welcoming and had everything ready when I arrived. I was surprised by her generous welcome baskets of snacks and toiletries in case I had forgotten anything. (Remember to replenish) Her clever furnishings, plants, seasonal decor and ultra clean suite made for an enjoyable stay. Cocoa & Nouille need care and attention this is not a feed them and leave for the day or evening. They can't reach the door knob and go up the stairs on their own to go pee.
So enjoyed my stay at Ana’s beautiful home. Nocas is a sensitive, funny & affectionate dog who has left a special place in my heart! Ana is thoughtful, kind and considerate & ensured my stay was more than comfortable.. The location is good for visiting Wolverhampton or Birmingham with all their attractions. Thank you Ana & Nocas Five star all the way ..
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Anne's; we hit it off right away and she made me feel very welcome, even insisting I sleep in her bed while she was away (when she says in her profile that the bed is comfortable, she is not lying. It's fabulous!). Her home is bright, comfortable, and easy to care for in a quiet location with a nice deck off the kitchen. And Gunnar is the sweetest pup! He, too, is easy to care for and so well behaved. He loves his walks and basking in the sun inside the front door and, when he is ready for you to sit next to him on the couch, he'll let you know LOL! I highly recommend house sitting for Anne and I would be so happy to return if/when timing allows.
Petra and Vrata were very kind and communicative in my housesit with Simon. They were prompt in answering texts and didn’t mind extra questions. Everything was as described, and Simon was such a sweet cuddle-kitty!
I had the most lovely time watching Bird and Olive! They are both so sweet. Kit's and Mark's apartment is is a fantastic and centrally located spot in a great SF neighborhood. There is a great local park, but its also on the N train line for easy access to the rest of the town. They were great hosts and I would recommend this sit to others!

I was very nervous leaving my fur babies Bill and Snowflake to a stranger. My best friend’s son went off to College and I had no back-up for the kitties. I asked on FB if there were any pet sitters in the neighborhood and received several responses. Christina and I met and I immediately liked her. She sends updates and photos of the kitties (which is not easy, since mine are very skittish). It says a lot about her character that my cats made an appearance while she was there. Jen was amazing with my Poppa. She fed him and gave him a blanket to sleep with (even though he didn’t). She also updated me throughout the day with the cutest pictures and videos of my dog which I greatly appreciated. I will definitely be booking with her again
Jen was very helpful through out the entire process with taking car of my dog Milo. She provided me with video and pictures of Milo to assure me that he is okay and in good hands!! That was a big plus for me since Milo is a big part of our family. I would highly recommend her to friends and family. I will be using her in the future again
Jen groomed both of my 2 year-old Cane Corsos today… they are fairly high energy and she was alone… I was a bit anxious over it but knowing she takes care of my best friend’s dog, I chilled out… and it was ALL worth it because my babies were good and came out of her place calm and clean and nails clipped and that is something that is NOT easy to do! I’d go back a million times over! My two are camera shy but I have pics of them not from today… Caspia is on the left and Roman is on the right ♥️♥️
I reached out to Jen’s Pet Care to have someone check in on our cat. Jen stopped by twice a day to change litter, fill the water bowl, and give insulin shots twice per day. She sent me pics of our cat each time she visited which was really nice. I highly recommend her and plan to use her again around Christmas time.

She’ll update you with pictures, she’s very responsive and patient when it comes to any questions you have, my 135 pound Rottweiler Phoenix did great with her and he’s not normally good with strangers. I left him with her overnight as a last minute plan and she thankfully accommodated for me when it came to drop off/pick up times. I’m so glad I gave her services a chance, & I’ll definitely be reaching out to her again :)

Cesar, Christian and the whole WW team are just the best! My dog is not very social and can be quite stubborn, and all of the walkers love her anyway! They accept all the animals where they are and shower them with treats and love. Josie, who doesn't like too many people, absolutely LOVES Cesar and his walkers. It is really fun to see her interact with them and her pack.
Cesar at Woofs & Wags was recommended by our dog trainer; Woofs & Wags has been walking our dog since 2021. Our rescue pup initially had separation anxiety, but Woofs & Wags eased him into group walks in Brooklyn, and he's been walking happily in a pack ever since. We like all their friendly dog walkers, and their app makes scheduling and payments very easy and convenient. We also board our dog with them; our dog has so much fun with them that he runs and leaps into Cesar's car during his pick-ups. We find W&W to be trustworthy and reliable; would highly recommend!

Cesar and Christian are nothing short of amazing! My girl has pretty severe anxiety being outside as she was hit by a car almost a year ago. After meeting multiple walkers in the neighborhood, it was really clear Cesar and Christian were a great fit for us. As soon as my girl met Cesar she was smitten (she is incredibly selective on who she trusts and interacts with). I was so nervous on how she would do during the walks and Cesar, Christian, and Yana have all eased my worries. They send me updates and do whatever they can to help Millie with her anxiety. Nellie’s treated so well on her walks with Parker. They go above and beyond to make my puppy feel loved and cared for. They don’t just walk my little girl, but also plays with, cleans after and refills food/water. The system for scheduling is very straightforward.

I had booked a trip to Nashville and was looking for a new sitter to watch my dog. I wanted someone who understood dogs (and not just loved them) and actually boarded dogs as part of their profession. The fact that Vinny is also a dog trainer and understands all things "dog" really helped me feel comfortable leaving Gunner with him and his family. Vinny sent me pictures and updates frequently and I knew Gunner was in good hands. What started out as a 4 day vacation wound up being longer due to the blizzard that hit NYC. I was a little stressed about the storm because it meant extra boarding cost and having to figure out when I got back if I would be able to dig my car out to pick him up. Vinny put me as ease. He told me he would give me a blizzard discount and even offered to drive Gunner to my apt if I wasn't able to pick him up when. It all worked out in the end and needless to say I wouldn't hesitate to use Camp Ruff Ruff again in the future. Thank you for taking good care of my pup. Gunner is looking forward to his next stay!
I've had a wonderful experience with Vinny and Camp Ruff Ruff. He was great at explaining my dog's behavioral quirks to me and helping me figure out how to work on things, plus my dog loved him immediately. I felt very comfortable leaving my dog with him when I had to take a trip and Vinny and his wife were kind enough to send me pictures and updates so I could see how he was doing. I will definitely be using them again in the future!
I can't say enough good things about Vinny. We boarded our then 1 year old Golden retriever with him last summer for two weeks and he took care of her as if she was his own. He went out of his way to keep us fully informed on how she was doing and gave us peace of mind knowing our little girl was in good and loving hands. He also went above and beyond to patiently explain to us some of her negative behaviors. He came his family are the best.
Vinny has taken great care of my two English bull terriers while I have been stationed in NY for three years. Bullet is a 9 year old who suffered from abuse before I rescued him. Echo is a 4 year old who is deaf and incredibly high energy. Vinny has had such a calming effect on Echo. I can almost see how Echo thinks before jumping on people, stops when I signal to him, trying to decipher what I want him to do, and trying hard to be obedient. I know that this is all because of Vinny's interaction with him. It makes me work harder at communicating with both pups so they understand.I am a Coast Guard officer and constantly have to travel for work (with very short notice) out of state. Vinny was always incredibly flexible with accommodating my pups. They absolutely loved being campers at Camp Ruff Ruff and hanging with the other campers as well as Mickey.I always had boarding for my dogs at Veterinary Hospitals because my dogs demand such attention, they are very high energy, they have special diet needs, one is deaf and one is an escape artists who runs away the second he senses freedom. Once I saw Vinny's interactions with them and understood how knowledgeable he was, I trusted him 100%. I trust no one else with my dogs. Just Vinny and his crew!They always treated my pups like family! Now we are getting transferred to Portland, OR and the boys will miss their best buddy for sure. I know I will never find anyone who will care for them the same way when I'm away.Honest and trustworthy: Vinny was kind enough to walk my dogs as well. He had a key to my place and I never had an ounce of worry at all about my place, my belongings or my dogs. On the contrary, he always made me aware of any issues. One example was when my carbon monoxide detectors where alarming.No rating scale has enough stars to convey how much Vinny cares about animals. He took care of my pups thru Bullet's ear surgery and Echo's constant knee troubles. Always updating me on how they were doing while I was away. Vinny and his crew are true professionals. They are honest folks who love animals and do this out of love for dogs, not money.I will continue to recommend Vinny to all my Coast Guard friends who get stationed in the area. Camp Ruff Ruff is the best!
My husband and I relocated to New York from Georgia. For the 2014 Holiday Season, we had to find a kennel for Sunshine, our fear-aggressive, 3-year-old American Eskimo. Previous kennels we had visited required Sunshine to be put through a "stress test." This usually meant a staring contest and then waving hands in front of her face. She failed all of these tests. I tried to explain to kennel owners that Sunshine was fully capable of behaving well given the correct approach. For example, she had successfully stayed in a kennel in Georgia. However, we could not find a good fit and thought about canceling our trip. That's when we found Vinny and Camp Ruff Ruff. Vinny drove to our home to meet Sunshine for the first time. Because he knew exactly how to read and interact with a fear-aggressive dog, Sunshine became comfortable with him immediately. Vinny then suggested a carefully orchestrated meeting with Mickey (a permanent Ruff Ruff camper!) to see how Sunshine handled being around another dog. Vinny gave me guidance throughout this second meeting on how to read Sunshine, and the meeting was a success! To ensure the best possible situation for Sunshine, Vinny suggested one overnight stay at Camp Ruff Ruff before the 11-day trip. The brief stay was also a success. I should point out that in the past, some trainers have expressed doubt that Sunshine would ever be able to be in the presence of strange humans and dogs. Vinny and Camp Ruff Ruff proved that with the right combination of expertise and patience, it was possible for a fear-aggressive dog like Sunshine to live peacefully in a cage-less kennel with humans and dogs!! Needless to say, we were able to make our holiday trip after all. Vinny sent photo updates of Sunshine and we felt completely at ease knowing she was in the best possible care. Sunshine came home with noticeably more confidence and even listened to commands better. Thank you, Camp Ruff Ruff, for taking such amazing care of our girl!!
My pooch Mocha had a wonderful experience her first time away from us with Vinny and his team last summer. She was well cared giving us great piece of mind. We've scheduled another stay at Camp Ruff Ruff this spring. I highly recommend Vinny and his staff.

Im not usually the person who posts a 1 ⭐️ but I really feel it’s important for people to know The Boulevard location in Staten Island has really gone down hill. I will begin with the staff shortage that’s been going on for months. Awhile back, my daughter’s dog was injured. She was not bit by another dog but came out with a huge deep gash in her face that has left a scar. It looks like she got caught on something. “The cameras weren’t working” so no one knows what happened to her. Then my son dropped his dog off a few weeks ago for an overnight stay. He gave them one package of refrigerated food for the dog. That covered 2 meals. He received the food returned warm and unopened. The dog was never fed in 24 hours! Today, after making an appointment, & getting a confirmation for my dog to attend all day, day camp, he was denied entrance because they were full to capacity. What’s the point of an appointment and a confirmation? Im not taking any more chances with this place.

I used to love it here but customer service has gone down hill. The best manager and employees have left, and what's left is lacking greatly. I shop here multiple times a month, but since I am a regular it seems I no longer get good treatment, specifically from manager John. I waited for over 30 min today but was told he was too busy trying to make a big fish tank sale. It's sad that he is a money chaser instead of treating regulars well. Don't advertise timed events if no employee can run them. And find someone who doesn't make snide comments and has a temper issue to run your store.
I bought my dog food, and Petsmart price matched their prices on their website which is cheaper than the store.
Very helpful employees. A good selection. Fair prices. Plenty of reasons to go to PetSmart on Belmont Street. Last time I went I was going to make a purchase and the trainer happened to be working the register as I was leaving and help me make the proper purchase for my pet.
Great store and great people working there. This is our go-to place for anything for the cat or dog. Everybody is very helpful. Membership card always offers perks and discounts. We are doing training classes for our puppy Sammie here. Sally is the best. Great trainer and salesperson. She shows a genuine interest and love towards our Sammie.
I will be using this Petsmart from now on. I really like the variety in their fish section. I went in and easily found what I was looking for. And when I needed help, there was an associate named Pat that went above and beyond to help me. I asked him for help while he was with another customer and he came and found me when he was done. I wasn't sure which filter cartridge was right for the type of filter I had and he helped me find the right size. I appreciate his help and patience. Thanks again, Pat!

They have beautiful betta fish. Great selection. Some employees are very knowledgeable, while others know very little. I suggest you do your own research prior to shopping. The live aquarium plant selection was limited, but nice, and a mo th later they're thriving. They have limited live feed options for tropical fish (flightless fruit flies, and ghost shrimp). Reptiles are ALWAYS on "sale". They have cats for adoption (*high fee) only sometimes, call first.
I’m absolutely appalled with this place. This is the third week in a row our classes have been cancelled. I understand that the trainer quit and that isn’t the fault of the store but it’s completely unacceptable that they didn’t call us prior. THREE WHOLE WEEKS of cancellations with no call or notice for a class we spent $120 on. Now out puppy is 3 weeks behind in training and we can’t sign up for any at other facilities because they already started. How do you run a business when you clearly have no respect for the owners or their pets. Especially when we were promised the new trainer was hired and classes were finally starting, and then we call this morning to find out tonight classes are cancelled. Now we’re being told they Are having a temporary trainer come Sunday to do a class which we can’t attend because I work on Sunday afternoons, we specifically chose these classes because they fit our schedule. Not even an offer for a refund, and no additional timeline to when the classes may start now. I would really never shop at this petsmart since again their customer service and care of their customers is so non existent. Do yourself a favor and find another place to go.
My wife and I have known and used Colleen for over 10 years and with 6 of our dogs. We’ve used her for walks, boarding and training and can highly recommend her. Our dogs jump for joy when Colleen arrives!
Colleen was so attentive & went above and beyond everyday to take care of our pup while we were away. She has a real heart for what she does & you can tell she treats each animal as a real loved and catered to pet. She was communicative & so caring. If pets could talk they would tell you to bring them to Colleen!
We really feel lucky that we have Colleen. Not only is she a great dog walker but she's also a lifesaver for boarding at her location, checking up on cats at our place when we're away and pick up & drop off for vet appointments & grooming. But, the amazing thing is she also understands animal behavior in ways, I don't even think our vet does. We're always learning simple, straightforward behavioral advice, from her She is the absolute best! Thank you so much Colleen, for looking after our guys!
Colleen has been amazing! We adopted a sweet but rowdy young stray dog about a year ago and were a little overwhelmed with helping her learn how to live in a house. Colleen helped us with leash training, socialization, and overall behavior and really helped us understand what we needed to do to train and connect with our dog. Colleen also does walks throughout the week and her visits are the highlight of our pup’s day! 10 out of 5 stars!
We have used Colleen for years for all 3 of our dogs and we can't say enough great things about her. She goes above and beyond what any dog sitter would do. The dogs always have a great time with her and are well taken care of. I would recommend her to anyone without hesitation.
Trustworthy, knowledgeable, friendly, prompt! I never have to worry when my dogs are with the pet concierge! They are my family members and Colleen takes care of them like they're her family members too. I know they are having an awesome time and being incredibly cared for. It also makes me feel great that she is a trained professional and if there were ever an emergency she'd know how to take care of my dogs! 10 out of 10.
I have been using Colleen’s services since March 2022 and I highly recommend. She’s considerate, caring, professional and I trust her with my pups life! Not only do I think she has the best services for dog walking, sitting, boarding (and even does drop offs and pick ups), but she’s certified vet tech and offers grooming as well. I don’t write reviews often but it’s not easy finding genuine professionals that love what they do and are awesome at it!
Colleen is the best dog walker! I always feel comfortable knowing she is taking care of my dog. She’s been walking and watching him for 10 years and I wouldn’t want anyone else taking care of him. She’s reliable, reasonably priced, so sweet, and my dog is obsessed with her which makes all of it even better. Definitely highly recommended!
We have used Pet Concierge since 2014. Colleen Martin has taken exceptional care of our dog and two cats. She has walked our dog on a weekly basis and is helpful in discussing behavior and health issues as he ages. Colleen has also taken out pets to the vet for routine and crisis healthcare. And she has dropped off and picked up for grooming appointments.
Colleen is absolutely wonderful! She came to us as a referral from neighbors and we couldn’t be more grateful. Not only does she walk our very energetic pup several times a week but she also does boarding which gives such peace of mind when we’re away. We’ve recommended her to friends and colleagues!
I’ve boarded my dog here twice and both times she has done well. Her personality can be a bit picky and stubborn, but the staff was able to work with her and understand her personality in order give her the care and attention/ or space she needed. We had an amazing experience at Island Pet Resort. They accommodated my family's 5 doxies last minute. They administered medication, and gave them lots of playtime and love. Thank you so much for taking such great care of my dogs! We highly recommend and look forward to using them again!
We love Island Pet Resort! Everyone here is amazing and they treat our Louie T-bone as their own. It’s our go-to place for boarding, day care and grooming. They have gone above and beyond for us and we can’t say enough good things about the owners and the staff.
Gross Negligence! My dog was seen at this facility on June 12th, 2022 to be dematted and groomed. It was at this time that she was severely cut by one of the groomers. Upon taking my dog to the Animal Hospital it was discovered that she was cut so deep that her muscle was exposed. My dog was required to undergo surgery where pieces of dead and infected muscle and skin were removed from the wound, further requiring 7 stitches to seal the wound after surgery. This resulted in a $1,200 Vet Bill AND both my boyfriend and I had to take the entire day off of work. I reached out to Island Pet Resort to request that they reimburse me for the vet bill and was immediately told no. I'm so disappointed. I've had great experiences boarding with them in the past but I no longer trust them to care for any of my animals. Mistakes happen but when they do happen it's important to make it right and Island Pet Resort DID NOT do that.
Island pet resort is an amazing place.They boarded my furry baby from 10/7 to10/12 and they took care of my baby like their own. My furry baby is diabetic with dry eyes. She also has food allergies. They accommodated all her needs and provided her insulin shot, gave Yoko her eyes drops and followed her special diet. The owner and the staff were extremely friendly and dedicated to my baby . They provided me with pictures and updates of her almost every day She was so excited in all the pictures that showed me she was in good hands . Dawn and Tyrese were simply amazing . The dog loves going to Island Pet Resort. He suffers from separation anxiety but at I Pet Resort he feels safe. The staff cares for him as his own. I definitely recommend Island Pet Resort.
Freya absolutely loves the facility and staff. She practically jumps out of the car when she realizes where we are Drop her on my way to work and she is absolutely exhausted when she gets home, which is exactly what we both need for her to get exercise and attention while I'm not home. They are also accommodating when I have to work late and can't make it on time. Plus, it's close to home and on my way to the Ferry. This is her within 15 minutes after getting home.
My doggie, Chancho, is a 2yr old pit. He is big and sounds scary, but he’s our baby!! A lot of places won’t take our breed. The Island Pet Resort takes all kinds of breeds of dogs and other animals (there was a beautiful giant rabbit staying there when we dropped off!) When we went on a family vacation and had no one to watch Chancho, we left him at the Island Pet Resort. We were like first time parents dropping a child at school.. Jason was totally understanding. Picked up when we called every day of the week to check on our baby! He was honest when he would update me on how my dog got along with other dogs and how he acted on a leash (we knew!!) As crazy and hyper as my doggie can be, Jason and the staff there are so so good with dogs & knowledgeable! (Gave us some great training tips!) Chancho was clean and happy when we picked him up and had a great time there with his friends! Price was totally reasonable for a full week. Chancho will be back!
First time here and I was very impressed by the staff and facilities. I was shown the entire facility by the owner. Very clean and organized place. Great prices and took excellent care for my Siberian Husky Toby. He will be staying here again in 2 weeks. I made them give Toby a bath and good brushing and he looks great. I am glad I found Island Pet Resort ☺
*Updated review: We brought Missy here several times and things were fine until the last couple of stays. One day we went to pick her up and she was never taken out of her harness and had chewed through it. The last time we were there, we went to pick her up and the person at the counter had no idea which dog was ours. He left the room and we were easily able to go and get her ourselves, which should never have happened. We brought our puppy for an overnight stay because we had a last minute trip come up. Everyone was so helpful and really caring. Missy had a great time and next time she needs daycare or boarding, it will be here. Thanks for taking such great care of our girl!
Best Care is is just what it is! We took my Sadie there twice while we went on vacation! Jasmine is a true animal lover and my pup loves her back. More than a sitter, they actually play with her, walk her and entertain her. I can go away with peace of mind know my little girl is being well cared for. They make it like a home away from home and more. They are so good with updating us on how and what she is doing, even sending me videos and photos. I can’t say enough about the care my girl gets when she’s there! I highly recommend them for your pet sitting needs!
We met Jazmin through a referral and let’s just say I am so happy my fiance and I found her!!! She is the absolute best. We got updates (pictures and videos) multiple times a day. I used Best Care Pet Services for our trip to Jamaica, since we have 2 senior dogs that would do better in a home, rather than a boarding facility. They were fantastic! My babies were not only well taken care of, they were also loved. I received updates and photos regularly, which helped put my mind at ease, while away. When you're obsessed with your pets, like I am with my dogs, this service is a MUST. I can travel, and know my babies are happy and safe.
I have used their services several times I’m comfortable and worry free when boarding Leo (dog). Jasmin is a very detailed and an animal loving person. While on vacation we would receive updates and pictures. This is the only place I trust to leave Leo it took my husband and I some time to find a place thats suitable for us Leo he loves it there.
Jasmine took such great care of our Luna girl for the day. Our 8 month old pup was clearly comfortable with her as evidenced by the pics. With frequent updates and pics throughout the day, I felt I didn’t have to worry at all about her care. Highly recommend!

Erika is a life saver. She is professional, helpful, compassionate, and genuinely loves my dog like her own. She documents everything in a notebook so I know exactly when she came, what my dog did, how it went etc. I am the most overprotective dog mum ever and Erika puts me at ease. I could not have found a better person to care for my pup when I am away. My dog has complex medical needs and Erika handles medication changes, food changes, etc so so well. We are beyond lucky to have her and I cannot recommend her enough!! Best dog walker / sitter/ company around. Completely trustworthy and professional.

I foster dogs and puppies, and she is always helpful. She walks my foster dogs and cleans up all puppy mess. My dog can be dog reactive, and Erika always follows instructions.
