Oh my goodness...Karuna’s space is really peaceful in the midst of the city. She has made her small space into a little oasis right in the heart of a busy city. Kaboodle is a sweet little guy with a big appetite...for food, but also for LOTS of loving. He loves to give kisses and is a great companion. I felt really lucky to be there. Karuna really made me feel welcome. Thank you so much!!!
I visited Angela, Peter, Bluey and Teddy a few months before the sit to see if we were a good match. Luckily we were because this is a VERY special sit. From the excellent lunch and thorough briefing on day one, to the catch-up and thoughtful gifts on the final day, I felt completely supported all the way through my stay in Amport. Angela and Peter are such caring and generous hosts. The house and garden are spectacular and Angela's wonderful housekeeper, Rachel, made sure I wanted for nothing. I fell in love with the beautiful cats, Bluey and Teddy. The boys have completely different personalities and each cat claimed me as his own personal furniture, much to the consternation of the other! I loved giving them cuddles and attention, and grooming Teddy. Bluey had a minor health issue which needed treatment but he was so good at the vet's, took his meds like a champ and was soon back to his normal self. A week later, my lap and I still miss the cats like mad. Angela is a wonderful communicator and her emails kept me informed and entertained. I came away feeling I'd made some lovely new friends. Thank you, Angela, Peter, Teddy and Bluey.
I loved house sitting at Amy's! Zeke and Asher are gorgeous and so lovely to be around. Amy's house is beautiful, warm, and comfortable. I felt really relaxed there, I think largely due to Amy making me feel so welcome- all communication felt really good and thoughtful. The garden is also really special, as is the neighbourhood. I'd recommend sitting for Amy and be jealous of anyone who got the chance!
Chutney & Nala are absolutely delightful and I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with them! Rebecca is an absolutely gorgeous human as well (I'm sure Jack is too but I didn't get to meet him haha!) Chutney is so sweet & independent, usually outside on her adventures but I found she took to me quite quickly! Nala is a little snuggle bug & the ultimate Netflix n chill buddy bless her little furry heart! Their home is close to the bus stop, local cafes & shops and a nice walk to the lanes or to the beach! Thank you all for having me! It was a pleasure to meet all of you & hope to see you again soon! Xx
Short but sweet weekend sit in Perivale for Clare, John, Pteppic and Chloe! The house is perfectly located near the station, easy to find and park. Clare and John's home is clean and comfortable. It was the perfect place to be to get into the city but also to walk along the canal and park just up the road. The cats are friendly and easy to look after, with clear instructions left. Chloe is very sweet, cuddly and playful. Pteppic was more reserved and spent a lot of time out and about - it was great to have access to the tracking app so I could see where he was!
Rosie was a hoot to be with. Young, energetic and vocal. Every opportunity she had to play, she took it. She caught the tones of different kinds of music and adjusted her actions to go with it including dance and meditation. The house in the active senior community was quiet, bright, organized, tidy and welcoming. The only drawback would be the distance to public transit for those looking to get out for lesser expensive transportation options. I don't mind being at the house and would definitely go back for Rosie and this sit. Thank you Ruthie. I hope you had as much fun on your travels as I had with Rosie.
