We enjoyed our stay with Majic for 5 days. He is such a laid back dog and so sweet. He was a little scared at first day but then warmed up to us quickly, even sleeping in the bedroom with us at night. Megan made sure we knew all of his needs before they left and sent a great welcome document that outlined everything. The apartment is in a very nice area of the city and everything is easily accessible via Grab or Gojek. There is a beautiful swimming pool to cool off in the afternoon. We would definitely love to sit for Majic again if we are in the area. Thanks again Megan!
If you don't already love labs, you will after sitting these two. Tucker and Nikki, my new favorite duo. It was so nice to see them play, run and be goofy in the parks. Nikki loves her sticks, and Tucker just could not say no to jumping in the puddles. These two placed a permanent smile on my face. I received such a warm welcome from Art and Bettina, I had time after the sit to get to know them better and learn about Portland and Oregon. It was very touching that they wanted to spend time with me, we even went to a local rock climbing film premiere and then out to the restaurant. I can't say enough good things about this wonderful house sit in Portland.
We had a nice time looking after Lola for a week in Portadown. Lola is an independant cat, and will only come to you on her terms. Lola gets very vocal when she is due to be fed. We were unable to meet Chiara before our sit, but had great communication through WhatsApp beforehand our so we were confident that we could walk in and look after Lola and the house. There are shops within walking distance, and Portadown is just a few minutes drive (too far for us to walk). Great location for exploring Northern Ireland as only 60 minutes to Belfast (we went to the Titanic Exhibition) and Enniskillen, and 90 minutes to the coast. We especially loved exploring Lough Neagh. Would recommend.
