Shannon looked after my home and my plants with the utmost care. She was prompt in arriving, and left everything sparkling when she left. I would definitely recommend her as a sitter.

Nora was fabulous with my dog and treated her like her own. I’d be delighted to have her back anytime!

I cannot say enough good things about Elspeth and Ari! I would give them 10 stars if possible! While we were visiting family overseas, Ari and Elspeth took care of our 3 dogs and 2 cats. It isn't easy to meet the needs of 3 very different dogs; a reactive and fearful border collie, an elderly terrier and a spoiled but very sweet poodle! With their very kind and calm manner, Ari and Elspeth gained the love and trust of all our dogs almost immediately. The 2 cats were very well cared for as well, one of whom is very shy and needs a weekly dose of medicine. Also no problem for Ari and Elspeth! I recieved updates with pictures almost daily, and the house was very clean when we arrived home after our long flight. Elspeth had also baked us a cake! They also managed a repair "situation" in one of our bathrooms! All in all, it was wonderfully reassuring to know our house and animals were being so well cared for and I would ask Ari and Elspeth to house sit for us again in a heartbeat!

If Antonella takes care of your home and pets half as good as she did ours, you’ll be happy! This was our first time using TH as homeowners. After posting our listing, we didn’t have applicants but had noticed that Antonella had saved our listing among her favorites. We reached out to her to inquire if she’d be available and interested in sitting our dog and cat for the two weeks we were going to be absent. We had a video chat with Antonella and immediately knew that Charlie and Asterix would be in good hands! She was friendly and flexible in her availability for the chat. She asked if a friend of hers could join her, which we welcomed as it meant more loving for the kids (Charlie and Asterix)! I was not home when Antonella and Ramina arrived (my husband greeted them alone), they were punctual, asked pertinent questions about the house & kids and were friendly to Charlie & Asterix who took to them right away. They showed up bearing gifts for Charlie to chew and Asterix to chase - instant hits! During the sit, Antonella stayed in touch sending messages, pictures and videos which showed her obvious love and attention to Charlie. For a dog that normally feels abandoned by us when we leave, he sure didn’t look like he was missing us! We have to admit that our feelings were a little bit hurt! This was a winter sit... it was snowy and cold... Antonella and Ramina nonetheless walked Charlie, taking the time to put his little booties on. They even shoveled our long driveway, which they didn’t need to do, as a neighbour was to clear it in our absence. And the weather was miserable, with snow storm after snow storm; it would have been quite the workout! Like if all this wasn’t enough, five days before the end of the sit, I realized my mistake in the return date I had indicated on the listing. I contacted Antonella to inform her and worriedly ask her if she could stay an extra day. She did not hesitate and agreed immediately, to our huge relief! She patiently went through the TH required steps to have the sit extended in the system, on a Saturday that should have been a well-deserved day off. We unfortunately didn’t have the chance to see Antonella and Ramina upon our return. They waited and made sure that our flight had landed not to leave Charlie and Asterix stranded had we been delayed and headed out for their long drive while we were on our way home. Like if we hadn’t been already impressed by Antonella by then, we got home to happy kids, an impeccable home (floors were mopped with no doggy paw prints, which is no small feat with wet snow on a dark floor), washed linen and towels, a maintained hot tub and the outdoor steps, walkway and deck cleared of snow. Antonella and Ramina had washed Charlie, he was white and fluffy, which was great with the amount of hugs and kisses we bestowed upon him! Charlie and Asterix even got their first report card! Antonella hilariously rated them on cuteness, following rules, food, and brotherly love (some improvement was needed here!). You can not go wrong in selecting Antonella. We’d have her back in a heart beat if she were up to the challenge of taking care of Charlie and Asterix again! Antonella and Ramina, we cannot thank you enough for having given us peace of mind while we were away! Thank you and all the best in your travels and future sits!

Ana was a great pet sitter. She came around a week before our sit started to meet the animals and took Roscoe for a meet and greet walk. She took great care of our home and pets and kept me updated while I was away. Our pets were happy and well-cared for, and our dog is highly anxious so this was a good sign. Our apartment was lovely and clean when we arrived home as well. Highly recommend!

Olivia took care of my three cats for two weeks. Two of my cats were orphaned at 2 weeks old and haven’t known too many humans, while my other cat is a recent street rescue who had to be socialized to be around humans. All three absolutely adored Olivia, especially my shy street cat, who seemed to like her way more than he likes me! Olivia also had to deal with an unfortunate and unforeseen apartment disaster. Throughout the whole ordeal she was level-headed and competent in getting the issue resolved. We really appreciated this and everything else she did to take care of our babies. We’d be happy to have her sit for us again.

Communication with Connia was easy and she sent us lots of updates and pictures of our dogs. She asked questions whenever she wasn’t sure and we really appreciate that. The dogs were well taken care of and she left our place nice and tidy as well. Thanks Connia!

Angelina was a wonderful house sitter! She took great care of my dog and cat, communicated well with me about her arrival and departure plans and worked with me to make sure the pets were covered as I was managing my own travel plans, and took great care of my home. I highly recommend Angelina as a house and pet sitter.

Rui was a wonderful cat sitter for Atlas. She really put in time to take him for walks (on a leash), play with him and give him lots of love and attention. She took the time to get to know his personality. She also took wonderful care of the house and plants (they look much better than when I left). Rui is trustworthy and a great pet/housesitter.

Remarkable. Rosemary came to my rescue when my pet sitter cancelled only two weeks before a five week sit. This, in itself, is extraordinary. She had never been to this part of Ontario before so there was a lot of information to share. During my 5 weeks far away, Rosemary was resourceful. There were problems to solve, and with the help of good neighbours & friends, all went well. Communication was easy. She sent photos and news of Merlin, Muggins & Margaret as they warmed up to her and shared their affection. When I returned, my home was tidy and welcoming with sweet gifts for me and a beautifully written letter describing Rosemary’s enjoyment of the time she spent here. My cats were relaxed and happy. I loved this. Rosemary explored the area, and enjoyed the beaches, trails and local highlights. I loved her sense of adventure. She is a busy entrepreneur and was able to meet her commitments while taking care of my home and beloved cats. We will stay in touch. I am grateful. I believe Rosemary has a way of fitting in wherever she goes. ❤️

I don’t have words for Monika’s sit at my home!! So I’ll ramble a bit.. Monika is the most thoughtful human in the universe. She completely vibed with my doggo and took her to a chillax concert in the park and to visit her dad. Of course she checked in first to see that Aris would be ok in the car and at the event, and I got to see pics. It was kind of like seeing pics of your kids at summer camp having the times of their life and NOT missing mom! Heart warming to say the least. Monika and Aris spent hours in the yard soaking in the sun and hanging out- I got videos and pics all along the way which I LOVED. I also received so many pics of the cats…I could see that Simba approved immediately of the new human, and I was so happy to see Zazu warmed up pretty fast too. (Zazu is a weirdo but he knows good people- Monika is good people). I also cannot believe Monika’s attention to my yard and garden. I mean ..I knew she had the interest and experience, and I gave her free reign because I definitely have a jungle to work with…but I was pleasantly surprised a few times with little videos of things she recommended to make certain plants or trees grow better and reports on bits of trimming she did. It was my first year with a veggie garden- so I learned a few things there too. I got a redecorated set of window boxes in my pool shed, a new wreath for the fall, and a bouquet from my garden when I returned home - all stuff from mu jungle yard - who knew my jungle could become so beautiful♥️ Overall, 5 stars is not enough and I would be more than happy to have Monika back. Aris, Zazu and Simba all thank you for a wonderful week Monika!! PS I already gave that baby blue more sun... I want her to grow faster too!
