Oscar was the cutest little man and such a pleasure to take care of. He is the chillest puppy I have ever encountered! The welcome guide from Shuna and Andrew was easy to follow and hilarious. The house was cozy and easy to take care of. Shuna was available for any and all questions, and loved the regular updates of what Oscar was up to. I would happily sit for Shuna and Andrew again! :)
Cotton is the most helpful, thoughtful kind person (making sure I was comfortable, had all the instructions I needed, could get in touch with questions, and generally have a good time - which I did). Her 5 pups are cute as all get-out, each with their unique personality. Brava to Cotton for taking in 5 on her own - it can be a lot to keep track of, especially on walks, but once you get into the routine (with the help of Cotton's feeding instructions on fridge etc) it seems easier. I felt so loved and needed by all 5 cuddlers, and they're pretty good listeners/obedient. Cotton's home is comfortable, well lit, and very convenient to many things - Centro, the Ancha in San Antonio, etc., where a variety of shopping needs can be met as well as parks to enjoy. Any nearby hills are manageable/walkable, and with help from a fan it's pretty quiet most nights for sleeping. The pups were understanding when I needed to go out, it was fun to reunite on return, and it was difficult to say goodbye. Hopefully Brian and I, and Doc, will be able to sit with Nellie, Mavi, Coochie, Rocky and Tilly all together in the future. :-0)
Hannah, thank you so much for inviting us into your comfortable home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, your home was a delight to live in and Henry was a delight to care for once our friendship was established. Nigel and Henry especially relished in cuddles and spoils and we've both loved watching Henry relax to his head and neck massages. We loved spending time in your garden. Hereford is a lovely, historical city. Learning about the city, castle and Cathedral history added to our stay with a special treat attending an organ recital on the famous Father Willis organ. The walks around the city, especially riverside were invigorating. We thank Hannah for an extensive, thorough handover of her home, Henry, local eateries, places of interest to visit and for the local yummy goodies. A lovely house and pet sit. Nigel and Sandra
Everything with this sit was perfect. Barbara was an excellent host and had prepared everything beautifully. Lisa and her picked me up at the train station (and dropped me off when going back) - she had even prepared a nice meal for the evening. We had plenty of time to talk thing through and Barbara made sure I knew everything I needed to know. We also got to know each other a little bit and had a very nice talk over our meal. The flat is ideally located, just 2 minutes walk from the Versailles park and close to shops and the bus. It has all the conveniences you would need, and even though it’s not very large it’s very welcoming. Lisa? Oh, Lisa! Mon amour! Such a sweet girl - and quite an enigma. Quiet and shy, still playful and eager. Timid and bold - all at the same time. Very easy to handle and very friendly to all animals and humans. We could walk for hours, and we even went for a few runs in the park. As many French dogs she was very well behaved in public and rested comfortably by my feet if I sat down at a cafe. I can truly recommend this sit, Lisa and the combination of an urban countryside Versailles provides.
We had wonderful days in Karin’s house. Katie and Calvin are just adorable, so sweet! We also had the opportunity to spend a few days with Karin and see what a nice person she is. The house is very nice and comfortable with a big garden and it’s super easy to get there as there is an underground station 2 minutes away. Thanks for everything, Karin!
