Lola was extremely good on walks and always listened to us. She was snuggly and fun to hangout with around the house. We loved her personality! The location is amazing, views of the Pentland hills, great hikes close by and easy bus ride into the Center of Edinburgh. Craig and Rico were extremely helpful getting us set up and told us everything we would need to know. This sit had it all, great people, beautiful scenery, access to the city Center but most importantly it had one of the sweetest dogs in the world, Lola :)
An awesome wee place to stay for a few days! Jim and Gill made us feel super welcome, and the hens were super easy to look after! All of them have names (and they've definitely all got personalities) which is so cool! Great area and Jim gave us loads of great recommendations on places to go and see or eat nearby!
Sitting Stephanie’s dogs was a great experience! Her babies were adorable, so playful and friendly. The home was nicely situated in the country side so it was quiet and relaxing and it allows the dogs to run around outside most of the day. Stephanie was responsive whenever I had questions and she was so friendly. I would definitely sit for her again.
We had a wonderful time in Gabby and Chris’s lovely home and absolutely fell in love with Cheech, Fiona, Huck, and Pearl. They were all such loving pets and all so unique. Cheech is a spunky cuddler; Fiona is a smart, kind athlete; Huck is a gentle observer; and Pearl is a sweetie who loves to be petted. They have a fenced in yard that makes it super easy to let everyone out and play lots of fetch. Huck has three legs, but is the quickest bunny chaser of them all! What a fun experience. We are so grateful to have met all of them and hope to sit there again.
Lou & Ziggy were wonderful. While their personalities couldn’t have been more different they were both great with my daughter and I. During the stay all of my questions were promptly answered by Dana. It was nice to meet such nice people with such wonderful dogs. Their home and neighborhood area are beautiful and very comfortable for guests. I would highly recommend them.

Hank, our golden doodle absolutely loves Camp bow wow. They are always friendly and know all about Hank and he has the best time. He gets groomed while he is there and it is just so convenient for us to drop him on our way to work.
I love the hours because I can work a full shift knowing that she's having fun, she's safe, and I don't have to rush to pick her up. I also love that I can check in on her at any time thanks to the cameras. It makes my breaks very enjoyable. The staff is also very friendly.
I have a young pup who goes to camp about 3 days a week. Doggy daycare is a great way for him to socialize with other dogs and his behavior at home has improved since he now has an outlet for all his puppy energy. Plus they have doggy cameras.
Camp Bow Wow's daycare has been a great experience for my dog, Yenn! She's always excited to go and always tired when she comes home - which is exactly what a dog parent wants. I love camp bowow because it’s super convenient for me and my family to drop our dog off whenever we are going out of town. Also, the staff are super patient and sweet with our naughty dog Loki 😂. Our little rascal is one year old turning two this year and he is a handful. I love that I can drop him off any day of the week when there’s availability for him to burn some energy.

Our family gives "four paws up" to Mae and Whistle NW Doggy Daycare, where we adopted our amazing lab puppy, Willow, one year ago. Mae had been caring for our girl for about two months and preparing her to find her forever home. We brought home a well-socialized, well-trained pup. Since then, we have continued to board with Mae when we travel and reach out to her as a resource. She is knowledgeable, a great communicator and the biggest dog lover you'll ever meet. We highly recommend Whistle Doggy Daycare, whether you are adopting or boarding. Mae with Whistle NW is amazing! We adopted our deaf puppy from Mae and she truly went above and beyond with her care and training for our Ducky! She set him up so well given his special needs and we are so happy we were able to adopt him from Mae! We often send Ducky back to Mae for boarding and he LOVES to go back and see Mae and the fam and all his puppy friends! I do not have enough good things to say about Whistle NW. We are so lucky to have found our special guy from Whistle NW.
Mae is simply amazing! Her knowledge about dogs is unparalleled, and she has the biggest heart. Mae takes in so many dogs as rescues and works tirelessly to find them loving homes. We were fortunate enough to have her place our puppy, Willow, with us. She thoroughly vetted us to ensure Willow was going to the right family, and we couldn't be happier. This place is amazing! We just adopted our new puppy Padmé (Nugget) and couldn’t be happier. From start to finish, they have been amazing at making sure everything went smoothly. We have been looking for a while for the perfect puppy to add to our family and then we found her! Now our family is complete! My little dude absolutely LOVES his time at Mae’s! Ollie is now an 8 month old Aussiedoodle with some separation anxiety issues and Mae was super kind and encouraging both during our initial assessment and the times he stayed with her. She gave us lots to work on at home and we both saw definite improvements in Ollie’s ability to self soothe and calm in the crate. He gets excited when we pull into our street and Mae has been so incredibly accommodating of my weird work schedule as well as my lil pup’s eccentricities. I feel so grateful knowing he’s not only being looked after in a safe environment, but that he’s encouraged to play and be social with both people and dogs. I’m so grateful to Mae and feel so lucky to have connected with Whistle Dog. (Pic is one that Mae sent during a day-sitting - happy happy dude!)
This is the best kept secret in Vancouver, but shouldn’t be! I was gone 9 days and my regular place was closed so I reached out to Mae! What an amazing experience for me as a long time user of various dog boarding facilities over 16 years. By far this is my favorite place! Mae does such a great job with updates and pics, I just picked up my Aussie after 9 days boarding and she is happy, tired, and all smiles! Whistle NW Doggy Daycare and Boarding watched our two fur-babies in September while we were out of town. Mae was very patient and responsive to my helicopter Mom tendencies. At pickup both my kids looked like they had a fabulous time while we were off! I will absolutely use their services again.
So happy to have found Mae and Whistle NW Doggy Daycare. Our dog is such a social guy with a lot of energy and really thrives best when he gets to go to daycare at least a couple times a week. He absolutely loves coming to Whistle and has so many friends there. Mae is amazing and so helpful. She has a love for animals that I have never experienced before. I wholeheartedly feel confident every time my guy spends the day or overnight at Whistle. I highly recommend this daycare/boarding if you are looking for someone to love your dog as much as you do.
I cannot even begin to tell you how fantastic Mae was with our boy! We were traveling through town and needed an (unexpected) dog daycare! Mae was so gracious in letting Scottie join the crew for two days, but still made sure to do a full check for behavior, vaccinations, etc., before we showed up. If I lived in Vancouver, she would be my go to doggie daycare. She sent updates throughout the day and Scottie was so excited to go back the next day. ( I have never seen him that excited for daycare!) 11/10 service and love!
If you're looking for an alternative to the impersonal experience of using an app to find a random pet sitter - I can't recommend Leave It To Shoo! highly enough. She's easy to set up with (just 1 short visit to determine pet needs) and very communicative while you're away - provides daily updates and pictures of your pets. (Examples pictured) My pets were loved and taken care of by Shoo while I was away - and that's all than you can ask for!
We have had the best experience possible with Leave it to Shoo for the past 3 years. It is such peace of mind to know that our cat is being so well taken care of while we are away. Shoo has the key to our home on a permanent basis; we trust her implicitly. She always either answers her phone or gets back right away when we need to book her. She never has a problem working us into her schedule. Shoo brings in the mail, makes sure the house is secure, and always leaves a note and extra food and water for our cat on the last day. The litter box and surrounding area are kept immaculate. We can tell that Olaf has had a great time while we are gone because he is not vocal or clinging when we get back! They play together and Shoo gives him lots of love. We have no hesitation recommending Leave it to Shoo for in-home pet care!
Sharon was absolutely wonderful with all our animals (fish, parrot, cats, dog)! She sent us daily pictures and updates on how everybody was doing while my family was absent, and communicated very quickly and competently in handling a prickly situation with our not-too-friendly dog. She reads animal behavior very well, is very responsible and resourceful, and we highly recommend her services.
Shoo's been our go-to cat sitter for several years and has been great! She sends daily updates with pictures and keeps our plants alive as well. She is super reliable and responds very quickly. We'll definitely continue using her services for years to come!

Sharon is amazing! I recently moved to the area and, on a short notice, had to find a pet-sitter for my dog and a cat for a few days. Sharon took such a good care of them! My dog can be a little mischievous, so Sharon even built "a fort", so my dog wouldn't get to the cat's stuff. When I got back, pets looked happy and well taken care of. Sharon kept in touch me regularly, informing on how everything is. She definitely does more than just pet-sitting - she even texted me to make sure I landed ok and am safe on the way home. Sharon is an excellent pet sitter. Sharon pet sat for a week. She took special care of my kitty (a cancer survivor) who needed daily medication. In addition she took care of 2 other cats, and 2 rabbits. Daily she texted me with an update and made helpful suggestions. When I got home, the kitchen was spotless and the animals well cared for. I would use her again.
Shoo is very professional, gives attention to detail, and is a very caring provider for animals. Along with myself, several family members have also used her services. We have known Shoo even before she went into this business, and we trust her completely with our home and animals.

My wife and I were feeling hopeless when it came to boarding our mini Goldendoodle. It was difficult to find a good location, fair pricing and someone trustworthy to take care of our pup when we were out of town. Finally we came across Holly’s website and were immediately intrigued. We reached out and Holly was so responsive and caring. We got a meet and greet scheduled right away and it went amazing. Holly and her family are so welcoming and easy to communicate with. It has been such a relief to have found Holly and now we always know we have a reliable plan for where our dog will stay when we need help with her. This review is long over-due. Holly has been caring for our 4 animals (2 cats and 2 dogs) for quite a while now, and she has been absolutely stellar! She is very communicative and very compassionate in the care of our animals. Pricing is fair. Two of our animals have medical issues and one of our dogs in particular has some mobility issues. Holly is always attentive and ensures our pup gets to play without pushing herself too far (she would play fetch all day if she could). When Holly cares for your animals, you can tell she really treats them like family. I would recommend her 100%. Thank you Holly for all you do for our family! PS: She takes some pretty great photos!

We left our pet rabbit with Holly for a week. I knew right away that she was in good hands. Holly carefully went over all the instructions with us before we said good bye and made sure our little bunny had a comfortable set up. Then, amazingly, we got wonderful photos and updates throughout the week. Everyone was having a good time together. We were so grateful to have found Holly to share their home and attention with our little friend. Holly is really special.
Holly has taken care of my kitty a couple times now and has done such a good job. She checks on my girl reliably and sends me photo updates everyday so I feel reassured that everything is ok back home. Vacations are so much more relaxing when I know my fur baby is being looked after. I highly recommend Holly!
Holly provided care for our two cats for a week. I could tell by the cute pictures she sent each day that the cats were very comfortable with her. She even took care of an ant evasion we had, putting out ant traps we had to keep the pests away from the cat food! She always replied promptly to texts we sent while away. I will definitely use her services again.
Holly has been incredible with our 1+ yo dog, Maggie. Maggie is full of energy and love and needs a lot of attention and play. Holly expertly guides Maggie through her days and always sends us lots of great photos to put our minds at ease. She has been very flexible to meet Maggie’s needs and our busy schedule. Her toddler is great around dogs, just like her mom!
My girl started off a timid rescue. Wet Noses has been amazing! They have really helped her to find her confidence with other dogs and people. They are great at communicating, sending emails when vaccines are due, info on the dog exhibiting sickness or other issues. My dogs looks forward to her days at Wet Noses, whining with excitement when we pull into the parking lot. I recommend them to everyone!
Wet Noses and Wagging Tails is awesome! I take my two dogs there every week and they always come back happy and tired. Staff is very friendly and flexible with drop off times. We have been using wet Noses for multiple years, for both weekly daycare and boarding. The staff is amazing and truly care about your dogs. Both dogs are excited eveytime we pull up and exhausted when we pick them up. We have and will continue to recommend. They are AMAZING!!!!
This was Buddy’s first time going to doggy daycare so we were kinda nervous about how it might go. Buddy is a very high energy Aussie so we were concerned that he might be too much. Our concerns were for naught. Employees at Wet Noses & Wagging Tails are well experienced with high energy dogs and were actually excited to meet Buddy. Buddy had a great time and the best part was, he was totally exhausted! 😆
Our dog Cooper absolutely loves WNWT. He gets so excited he starts barking as soon as we turn onto the road leading to it. It is reassuring when your pet is so excited about being left at doggy daycare. He’s never responded that way to anywhere else we’ve ever taken him. He comes home tired and happy every time! Thank you WNWT staff for loving him and taking such good care of him!
We just started taking Sadie to daycare and boarding and she loves it. She is so excited to go for either the day or a sleepover. The staff is absolutely wonderful with dogs. I mean look at the grin Sadie has, that says it all. She’s one happy dog!
This review is long overdue. My spoiled princess has been going to Wet Noses for some time now and I sometimes think she may love them more than she loves me. Their love for everyone's babies is hard to miss, they treat each and every pet as of it was their very own. I'm so thankful to have found them to help me in caring for my Mina🌹! 🐾

The best thing that could have happened to us and for our pup Regal is finding Wet Noses & Wagging Tails! From day 1, the staff has been just awesome! Her 1st day of school at just 4 months old all the staff really took care to nurture her timid personality. Regal completely feels at home there now and all the staffers have been so kind watching her grow up. W just LOVE that she can stay in doors with her friends when wet and cold out or outside on nice dry days. It has helped her so much in learning to socialize and more importantly to get her very much needed exercise fix. She just loves it, can't wait to rush in to her pals and when the day is done strolls out nice and tuckered out from a long day's play. Thank you so much WN & WT!!
We were so nervous taking our (also nervous) dog to daycare and boarding for the first time. Our fears were quickly averted - they are helpful, friendly, and above all they love the dogs! I appreciated the extensive vet checklist and the fact that every dog goes through a temperament test before being admitted into the facility. It makes me feel like my dog is safe around all the other dogs. Love the photos and updates, couldn't be happier with the service.
Mary Ellen takes the best care of my dogs, so much that the youngest would happily stay there forever. Great pick up/drop off process. Excellent communication and scheduling is easy, daycare or boarding. So glad to have stumbled across her place years ago!
My husband, myself and our pup just moved to the SE area and we were stressing on finding a doggy daycare. We both work all day and didn’t want our pup to be home alone; he has a lot of anxiety & especially separation anxiety. We found Mary Ellen’s daycare and immediately she sounded like a good fit. We’ve been taking our pup to her for about a month now and it’s been going great! We were really concerned that his anxiety would be an issue and that maybe it’d be a bit much for Mary Ellen, but she quickly dispelled those fears. She’s been working with our pup and helping him adjust to the new routine and has been incredibly kind and patient. We’re so grateful to have found Mary Ellen ☺️☺️☺️
We LOVE Wag Along! Our pup has been going there for a while for daycare and comes home happy and exhausted. We've also boarded her there and had a great experience. Mary Ellen is knowledgeable, flexible and reliable, and it is such a great spot for our pup to spend some time each week! Our girl can be a little nervous to leave us (she grew up during pandemic stay-home orders), but warmed right up to going! I know how much she loves it by her excitement when we pull in for drop off & at the end of the day, she usually doesn't want to leave! We consider Wag Along her second family and highly recommend them for boarding or daycare :)
I feel grateful to have found this day care/boarding location for my pup! I’ve brought my pup there for day care and I’ve boarded her for as long as 5 days. My dog always leaves happy and tired from playing with all the other wonderful dogs. I trust that Mary Ellen keeps a watchful eye over all of the dogs while they are under her care. Mary Ellen is excellent at communicating with me and I feel 100% comfortable leaving my puppy there. I would highly recommend!
Mary Ellen is the best. We always leave our dog with her when we're away and have been doing so since 2016. As soon as we pull up outside her house, she starts whimpering to get out and join her friends. Mary Ellen has two dogs of her own, Margaux and Rou, both wonderful golden retrievers who our dog adores. They're kind of like benevolent older siblings to her. I often think our dog has a better time than we do — home away from home!
I took my anxious 1 year old puppy to Wag Along to try to help with her separation anxiety and socialization. Mary Ellen took extra good care of her and within a few weeks Bootsy was more confident and well behaved and she loves going to see Mary Ellen and to play with the other dogs. I appreciate how very easy drop off and pick up is, and that my pup is still clean at the end of the day. Mary Ellen is kind, responsible and the price is right.
We’ve taken our energetic 1.5 year old heeler Sylvie here since the beginning of the year, been a very positive experience. Space-wise it’s essentially a house & yard, rather than the typical warehouse type areas of other doggy daycares. We appreciate the fact that the owner, Mary Ellen, has been doing this a long time and is very hands-on – it’s good to know our pup’s with someone experienced & who really cares about both the animals & how things are run. She’s flexible and the whole process has been super easy. Price is pretty standard. Our dog is fairly high strung and at first she had a lot of anxiety about being left there. But after a little while she got over it, now it’s fun to watch her excitedly run to Mary Ellen & all her doggy friends in the morning. I think the daycare has actually helped out her maturation process. Mary Ellen sends video clips and/or photos during the day showing them playing & lounging around, which is fun for a doting dog parent like me. The pup comes home happy & tired. We just do part-time right now - to socialize Sylvie & keep her company while the humans work, also to create a familiarity in case we ever have to board her there sometime for travel. Highly recommended.
We love having our Sully with Mary Ellen. We never worry about him when he’s there. We use daycare and board with her when we are out of town. He is always excited to see her and she takes such good care of the pups in her care. Recommend her 110%.
Mary Ellen takes such good care of my baby, I never worry at all when she’s there. My dog was super timid before she started going about a year ago and now she’s so happy to go see her friends each time. Mary Ellen watches a nice variety of sizes and breeds, so she’s exposed to all kinds of dogs, which is helpful for the real world. I literally don’t know what I would do without her. We love Wag Along!
Mary Ellen is amazing, I’ve been trusting her with my dog for a while now. I recently used her for boarding, and she went above and beyond when taking care of my dog. I had to drop off my dog right after being injured and Marry Ellen took her with out hesitating. She gave her her meds and cared for her like I would have. She even sent me frequent updates and pictures to help ease my anxiety. I truly don’t think you will find a more caring pet sitter in the Portland area!
Maggie did a wonderful job taking care of our furmily while we were out of town. Our dog had a medical emergency and Maggie handled it calmly and professionally (everyone is okay). Cannot recommend enough! Maggie is amazing! I’m a nervous cat mom and it’s never easy leaving our two kitties behind. Maggie took the time to get know us and our kitties, putting us all at ease right away. Maggie is quick to respond and is always warm and friendly, making her feel as if we’re leaving our kitties with a really good friend. Our cats are comfortable with Maggie which shows in the visit photos and videos Maggie sends. I never worry about them when Maggie is looking after them. 11/10 would recommend! We used Maggie’s services for a ten day out of country trip. She was very thorough with our 2 cats and provided daily updates and photos/video. Made us feel very comfortable that our pets were well taken care of while away. She was even able to get out scared kitty to come out and visit her.
I needed help with both extremes of the pet guardian, an old dog with multiple illnesses and a young energetic puppy. Maggie was able to help me come up with a plan to manage both of their needs. I am so thankful to have found her service. She has a great depth of knowledge and I appreciate her flexibility as I have non-traditional work hours. I can go to work knowing both of my dogs are in good hands.
Maggie was fantastic - she cared for our senior cat (George -17) and our scaredy cat (Louis - 7) for a week. She was able to get Louis to come out from hiding for pets and was able to get close to George and he even allowed a few head scratches! She sends as many texts as you like to get status - and pictures! She let us know about a potential urinary issue with Louis (he was ok) - but that is EXACTLY what we were hoping for. Maggie cares, is diligent, and is clearly trusted by our boys. We will definitely hire her again! I cannot recommend her more strongly!

My two cats are my kids and I used to fret about whether or not the friends and family I asked to volunteer to look after them while we were gone were caring for them like I do. I don't worry anymore, and that is because of Stay Lady Stay. Our cats love Maggie, they are completely comfortable around her. She pays attention to detail, she is reliable, she has great instincts, and she checks in with a text message each day that includes a photo of my girls. I always look forward to those texts when I am out of town. I can also count on her to get the mail, water the plants in the summer, and bring indoors packages that I don't want left on the front porch. Phenomenal cat care. I have two 16 year old cats, each with their own medical needs. Maggie successfully administers pills, liquid oral and transdermal cream medications, even on my stubbornly reclusive cat. Being able to travel again without stressing about whether my cats are receiving the extensive care they need has been such a relief. We also know our home is in great hands: Maggie offers to bring in the mail, roll in the trash, and water plants if needed. She provides photo/video updates with each visit and is so observant, thoughtful, and communicative. So grateful to have found a reliable catsitter. I highly recommend Stay Lady Stay. I love the free day opportunity. It is understandable sense my dog has been training through severe separation anxiety for a couple months after his previous owners kenneled him until he was 5 months. He's a quick study and the man that lead him into his dog daycare was the 1st my dog has ever gone with without pulling and the man saw that he was better the next day. Phew! I recommend this place. Check out the savings on the buying options. The price is right. Also feels like a good and happy neighborhood dog daycare. My dog came back tired and ready to eat. They have great prices on meals but I just feed him so he has a routine.
I called to speak with someone about boarding my dog and they were so rude! I said, "Happy Friday! How are you?" To which they scoffed and replied, "What do you need?" I said I was thinking of boarding my dog, but not when they spoke to me like that. The person laughed and said, "That's fine." And hung up. if this is how they treat the humans, I worry how they treat the animals. No thanks.
This place is awesome!!! My dogs love coming here, and they are always so tired when I pick them up, which is great because a lot of the time during the work week, I do not have time to play with them. Cheaper than any other place in the PDX area as they have package deals for weeks/months. More days you buy, cheaper it is overall. Pickup/drop off process is quick and efficient. Been coming here for since my dog was a puppy and she loves it! When I drop her off she gets so excited and runs straight to the door to wait for Julia or Craig to come get her! We love Safe Journey and are so grateful for your services!
My dogs love this place! Kennels can be anxiety inducing, especially for resuce dogs. At Safe Journey, they get to socialize freely, making it more natural for all the dogs. In addition to our dogs being happy, they have very flexible availability and fair pricing, a must for last-minute travelers like myself.
I just gotta say, I absolutely love this place! The staff and environment are incredibly friendly and welcoming. my two rotties always have such a good time there. I know my boys can be difficult at times, but they are very patient with them and they always come home happy and healthy wiggle butts! <3
I have nothing negative to say about them. Only thing is that i wish they were closer to Troutdale. I absolutely love bringing my dog here. He always comes home very very tired. You can tell that the staff here is very knowledgeable about what they're doing as well. I drop him off before work or a trip and i leave with a peace of mind. i appreciate how they try to accommodate my schedule as well. I also love how they don't kennel their dogs. My dog has terrible separation anxiety and a kennel would not be a good time for him. I really appreciate this business, and the staff that can make it all happen. I will be recommending them to anyone who needs a great doggy day care.
This place holds one of the worst experiences I have ever had. This happened 1 year ago. I took my sweet old pup there for a few day care trials in anticipation of a potential 10 day stay. He seemed to liked it so I went ahead and book his long stay. Conin was at Safe Journey a total of 5 days and he died. They emailed me while I was abroad to tell me my dog had not eaten in 3 days and that he was in poor health. 3 days! I immediately had a family friend go pick him up and 24 hours later he was dead. Not only this has been dramatic and absolutely devastating, but I also had to deal with the complete and utter lack of responsibility Safe Journey decided to take regarding this after I arrived back in the US. I received long emails from them with just excuses. I strongly believed that my dog was left in isolation, not fed and not cared for at all. He was so dehydrated when my friend picked him up, that even after 24 in intensive care they could not revive him. This place is extremely dodgy, they thrive themself as specialized in "difficult dogs", and so i trusted these people with my 15 year old mutt. He was a healthy old pup, and within 5 days he became ill and died. They took no responsibility, they did not offer to reimburse me for the days he did not spend in there, there was zero care, only a bunch of excuses. The recent number of horrible review have encouraged me to speak up. At the time, I reported them to the better business bureau. I strongly encourage you to do the same if you had a poor experience there. Below is a photo of Conin on August 24th (the day I dropped him off) and the photo of him 6 days after. Bless him.
We love Safe Journey so much! Craig and the team care so much about our pup and make sure he’s having a good time- whether he feels like relaxing alone or playing with others. My beloved, healthy mini schnauzer died in their care from horrific injuries. Your dog is not safe with them. I trusted them with my sweet little pup and he never came back home.
Susie's is absolutely amazing! Our Kono loves it there! Everyone there is so sweet and take such wonderful care of our little princess. Drop off and pick up is easy and smooth. She was excited to see us but didn't want to leave either! I highly recommend Susie's I'd give a 10 if I could!
I'd never boarded my dogs before. I always had house sitters. I tried Susie's and I was pleased. My dogs seemed happy when I picked them up and didn't smell. When I took them back the second time they seemed happy to be there, so obviously no hard feelings from before. The folks were easy to work with and the check in, check out process was smooth. Nice job folks!
I was helping friends while they were on vacation in Greece. I had to pick up and drop off Barnum, their dog, several times. The staff that work here are so wonderful. You can tell right away how much they love all the pets. I would definitely recommend Susie's and if I had a pet I would not take it anywhere else. You guys are the best.
If I were a dog, I would want my owner to board me at Susie's. Joking aside, I've used Susie's to look after my 3 dogs many times over the last couple of years and have had a consistently excellent experience. I have no doubt how much the people who work there love animals, it shows, and it gives me total peace of mind leaving my boys with them. Additionally, they are wonderful people, kind and helpful. I cannot recommend them enough.

This is the only boarding facility where I wasn’t worried about the well-being of my 3 pups while I was away. Adorable and thought setup. Friendly owner. Extra clean facility. Fair prices. The only kennel we’ll use in Vancouver. Make sure you book early- they are popular and space is hard to come by!

I NEVER leave my dog! However I had to board him for several days & I'm so fortunate a friend told me about Susie's. Welcoming, clean, wonderful staff, excellent care of my baby and reasonably priced. Years ago I had a bad experience leaving my dog so I am very critical of any facility. Susie's ticks all the boxes. You can safely entrust your fur baby to their care.
Susie is a fantastic trainer and she runs an excellent, clean facility that cares about you and your dogs. We have had to leave town fairly frequently and Susie has been dependable, her staff is friendly, the drop-off process is thoughtful and clear. I can't say enough about the facility itself; it has a great vibe. It's welcoming and professional. I know my pets are safe. We feel so very fortunate to have Susie and her team to care for our pets when life takes us out of town. Would recommend, thank you.

Wonderful experience with PetSitter Portland!! Our senior pup was well cared for while we were out of town. Great communication!! Pictures were sent and a description of how each visit went was relayed as soon as they were done. I could recommend Joe, Janice and Priscilla anytime!! Each one was very sweet and patient with our girl. It was a great experience from the time I inquired about their services, the meet and greet and set up for care. They have a great app that allows you to easily schedule, communicate, request extra services such as setting out the recycle and watering plants if needed. PetSitter Portland was great to work with and took wonderful care of our cat, Mochi. If you have questions they are quick to respond. It was a relief to know she was being well cared for while we were away. The journal entry and pictures they provide after each visit was so nice to receive. I am relieved to know I have someone to call when we will be gone.
Joe and his team are amazing! We were really worried when our usual cat sitter was not available and were apprehensive about someone else watching our kitty Luna while we were away. I saw the great reviews and looked at the website and decided I would give it a shot. I am so glad I did! Shortly after making my account, Joe gave me a call to introduce himself, talked to me about his services, and gave me a run down of how everything works. This made the experience a lot more personable and I liked that we could simply call him if we had questions or concerns about the process. We scheduled a meet and greet so we could see if this would be a good fit and everything went well. While we were away, we got lots of photo and written updates about each visit. Joe spent a lot of quality time with Luna and followed her complex feeding instructions. He always made sure to play with her and gave her lots of love. She’s usually a little timid and we were pleasantly surprised by how quickly she warmed up to him. We have now used his services for two separate weekends and everything has gone great. I had an amazing experience working with Joe and his team! I contacted them last minute after another sitter plan fell through just days before my trip. I was nervous to leave my two dogs with someone I didn’t know, but from the beginning, Joe was extremely thorough, walked me through the process, and answered all of my questions with detail. Once we went away, he sent very frequent and thorough updates which were so reassuring. Joe went above and beyond to make sure my two dogs were comfortable and kept up with their regular routines while we were away. I recently moved into an apartment and as a young woman who works long hours with a varying schedule, I needed to find a reliable and safe solution to take my dog out for potty/walk breaks while I’m at work. The team of people who are on this crew are all very kind and great with Sammy (my 11 year old dog). They are attentive, reliable, communicative, and kind. It can feel intimidating as a young woman to let people into your space and care for your animal but i immediately felt ease when i had the opportunity to meet a few members of the crew. They utilize an app that allows for easy scheduling, and messaging. I receive photos and journals after each visit that reassures me that Sammy is well cared for. I highly recommend this company and crew if you are looking for a dog walking/ animal care service. We recently used Pet Sitter Portland for round the clock care for our two dogs and they hit it out of the park. The website/app is great and easy for setting the schedule and seeing that the requested service occurs. The progress reports and tons of photos, cute and quirky, give real time updates.
