This was our 9th sit with THS and it has by far been our favorite! Mary and Jim made the three of us feel welcomed from beginning to end. They made us dinner and introduced us to some of their neighbors. Needless to say, we felt well taken care of. They were extremely generous and we had great communication throughout our stay. Best of all we got to care for two of the most well trained and sweetest boys ever! Fergus and Dougal were such a delight. They have such different personalities and were so much fun to be around. They get along great with other animals and love people. All they really want is love, attention and for you to sit and cuddle with them. Dougal’s morning grins and Fergus’s laid back nature made it so hard to leave we are really going to miss them. Mary and Jim have such a beautiful property with amazing views all around. They are in such a great location, close to many restaurants and tons of hiking trails along the road and property! We arrived just in time to see the beautiful foliage and would love to experience another season in NH. We would to sit for Mary and Jim anytime!
I absolutely loved cat/house sitting for Leslie. Taking care of her three cats was really simple, and given that they're indoor/outdoor, only one of them (Parker) hung out inside often, but it was so nice having his company! He's energetic, and affectionate, and will follow you around. The house and location are perfect. Sitting on the balcony, you can see the ocean, the fireplace and living room are super cozy, the beach and lots of great places to eat are within walking distance, and the neighborhood is so peaceful! Leslie even had a professional house cleaner come right before I arrived, so everything was spotless. Leslie was great at communicating and so hospitable and generous as well. I was able to work from home, and relax the rest of the time. :) I would definitely come again.
We had a wonderful time with Roxy in Marbella. Marie and Patrick were very gracious hosts. We had a very nice dinner with them the night before they left. Roxy was a bit timid to start but soon came round. We had our own bedroom and bathroom in their gorgeous apartment. The terrace was the nicest I have seen. It was huge with plenty of seating and sun beds. Roxy loved the terrace, spending time hiding in the plants or just luxuriating on a comfy chair. There are lots of nice places to visit and a car would certainly be a bonus as it is quite hilly and very few pavements.
What an amazing and unique experience to be able to stay in an 18th century hunting lodge in the middle of the Scottish Highlands wilderness with two precious dogs to explore the area with. My wife and I spent 12 nights at Bruar Lodge with Eddie and Bertie. For the first 5 days we didn’t leave. There are high mountains, beautiful waterfalls and endless heather and bogs all around the lodge and you have them almost all to yourself. Eddie and Bertie are sweethearts. They are very low maintenance and just fun to be around. We miss them already. The lodge is very comfortable and has everything you could need except delivery pizza, restaurants and shopping - if having these things is important to you this probably isn’t a fit for you. If on the other you like hiking, nature and sweet dogs Kate’s home would be hard to beat.
We enjoyed looking after Keesha and Nuqi. They are beautiful and gentle cats, a little shy at first but absolutely adorable. For us, the location was perfect, near to family in Fareham and it is so peaceful and quiet, we loved it there. The house is well set up for the cats with cat gyms and a catio, the cats seemed to really enjoy them. Overall, a very enjoyable stay, thanks so much for hosting us!
I can totally recommend to sit Tammy. Laurence and Charles were great, very welcoming, attentive and generous hosts, the big apartment was amazing, very clean, with everything you would need, plus wonderful pool and gym and a lady cooking great and affordable Thai food right in front of the cindo gates. There is also 7-11 close by and delicious real Thai street food around the corner. Oh and massage place close by recommend by Charles was perfect too. Beautiful majestic Tammy is very independent, comes mainly just for food, so there was realy not much work neede for her.

I cannot recommend a better local dog walker! Mike makes it easy to schedule walks in advance and on an as-needed basis. All of the walkers are lovely and my dog is so excited when they arrive!
Have had a good experience here , the groomers appear friendly and my dog always seems happy when she comes out. We always discuss the look prior to getting her haircut. Only taking 1 star off because my poodle was not really given the haircut agreed upon prior to the groom. Usually they’re pretty good, but this time around, they trimmed all the hair off the ears. Just hope next time they let me know if the decision was made because she was too matted or needed the trim. I also don’t like that they don’t brush their teeth. Overall good experience with these groomers and seem like they care to treat the dogs well.
Madison Dog Resort is amazing! The staff is so caring, and the facility is spotless and thoughtfully designed. Our French Bulldog loves it here and always comes home happy. We especially appreciate the updates and photos they send. Highly recommend for top-notch pet care!
Picked up my dog from this place and he was dirty and had a mark on his face didn’t think much of it until after we washed him we noticed he had a bite mark on his face that looked like they had cleaned up well. After bringing the dog to the vet it turned out to be a dog bite and the spa never said anything about it but definitely knew about it . Needless to say I won’t be using there facility . again after barely being able to stand how bad the smell is inside and not disclosing my dog was injured and felt like they were waiting for us to notice if we saw the bite but it didn’t start to show until we cleaned him .
My dog loves going to the Madison (or the "bark bark" as he knows it). Whenever I mention that we're going to the bark bark, he gets so excited and is ready to bolt out the door. I know he plays hard and has a great time because he takes a big nap on the ride home. The humans at the Madison are great, too! They also do grooming, which is so convenient and my little guy gets to have some playtime before he gets his haircut. Definitely recommend!

I am so thrilled to have found the Madison for my dog, Bowie! This was my first time boarding him since rescuing him last year, and I was more nervous than he was! I love the Madison - it has been a Godsend when my dog is full of energy and I don't have time for a long walk, or if I am out for the day - so much nicer for them to be with other dogs and people. They supervise the dogs and give helpful feedback. It is clean and the people who work there are consistently friendly and not a lot of turnover so they are familiar faces and really get to know your dog. Kelly and the grooming staff are also really great - one of my dogs is really difficult to handle for baths but Kelly is always able to do it and never complains about her! Victor who runs The Madison is a really great person - cares very much about the business!

We had a great experience with sending our dog to The Madison in Hawthorne. The staff took great care of him! There is always someone with the dogs and make sure they are playing appropriately. They offer grooming which we took advantage of a few times. We mainly used it for care while both my husband and I were at work. One thing to note is that our dog had issues with his paws getting worn down on the floors causing us to not be able to bring him there as often as we would have liked. Overall I would highly suggest using The Madison for your needs.

Paw Pals provided excellent care for Nala while I was away! Given that she's a working line German Shepherd, I was worried about meeting her mental and physical activity needs during boarding. However, Paw Pals kept her active, engaged, and stimulated with walks, puzzles, and playtime. Brittanie was incredibly responsive and reassuring when I checked in, even sending extra photos for my peace of mind. They continuously refine and improve their practices to be inclusive of all types of dogs, from their daycare program and individual enrichment activities to on-site training and even micro groups for selective dogs. I can not thank the Paw Pals team enough. We got our puppy in the middle of winter, so it was challenging to find ways to help him socialize with other dogs and people. I am so happy we found Paw Pals! Jet was nervous the first time he walked in, but after that, he always walked in with a smile and a wagging tail! They are very accommodating when we send him (3-4 times a month). We don’t send him often, but the few times he has attended daycare shows that it helped him feel comfortable around new dogs and people. We feel at ease knowing he is with kind professionals, exercising and socializing, and the pictures they send us make our day. Paw Pals is the best - our dogs love to go there. The last time we boarded them, Paw Pals literally saved our summer vacation - one of our dogs needed a visit to the vet while we were away (non serious but needed to go) and the owner took her for us so we didn’t have to disappoint our kids and cut our trip short. They always take great care of our babies and go above and beyond.

Paw pals exceeded our expectations! This was our first experience boarding our extremely nervous dog and the entire staff took such good care of our dog and our family! They sent two report cards a day with a written and picture update and made us feel so at ease while we were away on our vacation. We cannot say enough good things about bad 2 the bone & Sammy! Sammy has pet sat for us twice for 5 days each time and was so attentive - she made sure to send us updates all throughout the day with pictures of our pup. We felt extremely at ease knowing our dog was in such good hands. She has also been walking our dog regularly and our dog gets so excited when she sees Sammy!
Rebecca went above and beyond while taking care of my dog. Rebecca is very gentle, patient and caring with our dog. She always goes above and beyond whenever we have used her services. She was kind enough to accommodate us on same day requests as well. Pet Haven was awesome!! Rebecca took the time to really bond with my dogs. They were actually happy to see her when she came to spend time with them. She sent me a wonderful note with details of each visit along with photos of the dogs every time she spent time with them. She took the dogs on walks when she saw they were hesitant with a stranger and knowing this made me feel so comfortable during my vacation. Rebecca watched both of my cats while I traveled abroad with my family. I received pictures daily and updates. When I returned after two weeks, they truly grew fond of her, I could tell. I noticed she genuinely cares about animals, and that is extremely important. She was very responsible when tending to their care, and she even purchased a few items for them which she felt they needed, such as toys and scratch boards. They loved them. I would refer Rebecca to anyone.

Our mini goldendoodle is such a nervous and scared little lady, and besides our immediate family, she won’t warm up to others and will retreat or hide in fear. We were worried we wouldn’t be able to find a dog walker up for the challenge of winning over Marlowe, that is, until we met Rebecca. Rebecca is such a kind, intuitive woman and every day she took her time and followed Marlowe’s cues to get her comfortable. After a week, Marlowe found a new best friend and she is excited every day when Rebecca comes for her, rolling over to get a belly rub and showering her with affection. We just adore Rebecca and are so grateful for her love and attention to our little girl!
I can't think of any company/retailer/store I've been happier to find in the past several years that we use on a consistent basis. Doggy Deuce has been our pooper scooping service for many many years, 3 dogs and counting. We now use them for pet sitting while we're away on vacation or just for overnights. While we're away, we get pictures of them, updates on how they're doing and Chris even goes the extra mile and offers to bring in our mail and take care of the pool while we're gone. I challenge anyone to find a small business that offers such service! Also, when I'm looking for any other service recommendation, (window washing, pool closing, carpet cleaning, etc.) Chris from Doggy Deuce always knows the best businesses to call upon. He's part of a big network of local businesses that have proven to be trustworthy and capable; the best can always recommend the best. Doggy Deuce is also an active advocate for pet adoption and strongly care about the welfare of animals. And the office staff is extremely attentive and available, returning emails and calls with very quick turnaround. This company is the real deal. I've recommended them to 3 other families on my block who now also use them! Our pets are our family, our house is our home, and I wouldn't trust either of them to anyone but Doggy Deuce. I'd be happy to offer a personal recommendation to anyone who reaches out.
We have been using them for a couple of years now. Our last trip away I scheduled them to visit my home twice a day for 3 days to take care of my 15-1/2 yr old Yorkie who is partially blind and deaf. On the final day of service I received an invoice I could not open so I emailed them back and requested it sent in a different format. The following day on our way home from our trip I received a call from Becky advising me that unfortunately, she mixed up the dates and no one visited my home to take care of my dog for 3 days. She proceeded to explain she was sick the day she took my appointment and probably shouldn't have been making appointments. What I don't understand is how an invoice is sent for the correct dates, but yet the dates were mixed up. These people are lucky my dog was alive. Barely alive, but she was! The dog was without water for 3 days. One more day and I doubt she would've survived. This is a huge mistake! This is a life we are talking about here. These mistakes cannot happen. I was very upset and angry and refused to further speak to them. There is nothing they can do to make this OK other than REFUND me my money they took without providing services! I would never recommend them to anyone!
I have been using doggie deuce now for over four years and they are amazing! I use them for both dog boarding and pooper scooper and they are super dependable, accommodating and (in my opinion) reasonably priced. Chris (the owner) and Jen (the manager) are super nice and you get a sense that they truly love what they do and the dogs. My dogs actually look happy when they leave to stay there while we are on vacation. While the dogs are there- they send pictures and updates which is awesome. I cannot say enough how much I love them and how much easier it is having them in our life. If you love your dogs as much as we do- you definitely want to give them a try the next time you are going away.

Unfortunately this company has yet again failed to properly trained or communicate with their new staff. Once again one of the their employees have left my gate open for my two pit bulls which are not dog friendly. They were instructed since the beginning to call my phone before they came so we can ensure the dogs were inside, but they failed to do that too. If he was confused as I was told. He should have called the office, myself or rescheduled. I find it very disturbing and hard to understand the lack of common sense of this person. He not only put my dogs in danger but other dogs too.
Doggy Deuce watches my pup when I go out of town and she has so much fun. They take such great care of her and make sure she is treated like a princess.

Ruff House is an extraordinary facility for training and boarding dogs. I have had many experiences over the years with many of my dogs and Crystal is outstanding. The way she trains and handles the animals is both loving and knowledgeable and her environment is very special for animals. They are treated beautifully and I cannot recommend her and the facility enough. Five stars is an understatement. My dog has been properly trained there, is loved and cared for as I would care for her myself. It is wonderful to recommend Crystal. Judy
Ruff house does an amazing job with my choc lab. The staff is great and the facility is extremely clean. My dog loves the exercise and playing with the other dogs.

I was trying out to see if this place would be a good fit for my pup cause i know my pup is usually very anxious. Unfortunately things didn’t work out as i hoped but that’s okay! Because i appreciated how much this place communicated with me and heard my concerns about my pup. They did their very best to make my pup comfortable and that’s all i can ask for. The staff is super sweet and very understanding. I’m hoping that with more training my pup will be able to gain the confidence he needs to be able to come back here cause that’s how great they treated us. They are aware of how to make sure the place is safe for furry friends and that’s what is important! Thank you guys for doing your very best and being patient with my pup. I’m hoping i can return when he is more ready!
We’ve taken our two dogs here twice now. Once for their evaluation and once for doggy daycare. The staff is really friendly and explained things well. The moment we pulled up to the parking lot for their day of daycare, the dogs wanted to run inside. They were greeted by friendly humans and went running to go play that they didn’t even say bye. When we picked them up, they were excited to see us but weren’t running out of the door. They went back to say bye to the staff there. They came home exhausted but very happy. I got a video seeing how they were doing which gave me some piece of mind and they do little activities for holidays which I LOVE. My dogs are my fur babies and it feels like they understand that.

Love love love this place - the staff takes great care of my rambunctious 2 boys. They are always so friendly, nice and polite. The themed parties are too cute, I can't wait to see photos they post ( this was them at prom) Really this is the only place I want to tale my dogs to.

Very very happy with my dog's stay at Hounds Town Hillsdale. Daily video updates, quick responses to emails and came back to a happy pup after 12 days! Will definitely make this establishment my go-to for all boarding needs!

Be careful leaving your dog in the care of this location. There has been surveillance video footage of the abuse of Charlie (GSD). Check out @ABC7NY tiktok video posting from yesterday 9/20/24. Had the employee whistleblower not show the footage to Charlie’s owner, he would have never knew, other dog owners that leave their dog here would’ve been oblivious, and that manager that abused Charlie in two instances would’ve still been working here. But according to the video they said the manager has been fired. And here is the proof before the Google business account owner/ runner wants to deny these claims. This is footage of the GSD Charlie that is also featured in that TikTok video by ABC7NY News.
I picked up my chocolate lab axle this weekend after a seven day boarding. When I received him he had a raw nose on the top of his bridge. Upon asking the staff what happened. They stated that it was that he was sticking his nose underneath a gate. And that’s what probably caused it. I’ve used your services times before and never had an issue. Till now. I hope that this does not scar my dogs nose. Right now at the moment it is discolored unfortunately. and maybe the facility can assure that this does not happen to other dogs.
They took great care of my Kenna and made sure she had a fun and safe experience. The facilities are clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with plenty of room for the dogs to run around and play. The service was top-notch, from the convenient drop-off and pick-up to the flexible scheduling and reasonable pricing.
