As my first pet sit I was not sure what to expect but Peggy made everything easy. All the important details were clear and easy to understand. Everything in the profile about each of the four pets was spot on. I loved sitting out on the deck and playing with Chelsey and will miss sleeping with Norm. The home was tidy and space I was offered was welcoming.
I was a long weekend in the jagdhaus with google and maps 2 sweet sniffer dogs . Miriam make a good introduction , we let the dogs out and she tell everything about the environment. The dogs like two long walks a day and they go crazy when i grab my shoes. The house is verry spacious and the kitchen is fully equipped . The forrest is at the and of the street if you go left your in belgium and go right your in germany. We als went to the historical centre of monschau , It was a verry nice sit Bye till next time
Marius and Katie were super friendly and welcoming. We had a call where they explained how Lacey doesn't like going outside and then they provided a full Google doc for the sit. We also had a handover with them too the day before and they were communicative throughout the sit. The flat is lovely and in a great area too. Lacey is a very sweet dog although quite nervous to start with but did approach for tickles. She doesn't like going outside and getting her to put her harness on to go out took anywhere from 30mins to a few hours of cajoling and using treats. She is very easy and low maintenance apart from getting her outside.
Oh what a good week! Sonia’s comfortable home is situated in a spectacular location with stunning south facing views over the surrounding countryside and the River Tay. In the week we have been here we have seen from the house roe deer, hedgehogs, red squirrels, hares, pheasants, woodpeckers, jays, buzzards, sparrow hawk, gold finches, green finches, tree creepers, wren, blackbirds, sparrows, robins, herons... the list goes on. Dandelion and Fudge, the rabbits, are easily looked after and Coco has been an absolute joy to care for. She is a gentle, affectionate and funny dog and we will really miss her and her permanently wagging tail. Sonia left us with everything we needed to make our week go smoothly and the only downside I can think of is that their family holiday was not for a lot longer. We will miss the animals, the house and the beautiful village of Kinnaird, and thanks to Sonia for trusting us with wonderful house and delightful pets. It has been a five star house sit.
What a pleasure to sit for Laura and her lovely cat Cleocatra! Although Cleocatra needed 2 shots of insuline a day, she was the cutest and the bravest, making all the process really easy. We manage to have trust in each other in no time. She spent lots of time sleeping next to me while I was working from home on my computer. You will fall in love with her in a second! Also Laura is super nice and friendly, and the Astoria area really pleasant! I highly recommend!
Absolutely amazing stay across the street from Golden Gate Park and a few blocks from stunning views at Ocean Beach and throughout the neighborhood. Buster is the cutest, cuddliest, sweetest sweetest little old man and I adore him. He absolutely knows his schedule and totally chills between his expected walk and food times. I worked from home and he would sleep right next to my feet in the office all day between walk times it was so cute. He is like a living Teddy bear marching around the house carrying his oversized bully stick :-D Wendy is so organized with all of Buster's information and house information, I really appreciated it! Absolutely top notch communication and an awesome human all around. This was truly a win win!

Jen is truly one of the best dog walkers out there. Our dog Oscar is obsessed with her - to the point where she tries to walk quietly by our house if she's going to walk our neighbor's dog so he doesn't hear her! On Oscar's first birthday, I was traveling for work and Jen took Oscar to the store to get him a birthday cake toy. It's the smaller, thoughtful things like this that make her irreplaceable in our pup's life. She also takes super cute pictures (attached) and sends an email about how each walk went. She makes leaving Oscar for work trips less hard because I know that he'll be so excited to see her when she comes for his walk!
Jen and the Shawe's team have been walking my family's dogs for 7 years or so. They have always gone above and beyond to accommodate shifting schedules, schedule or cancel on short notice, and even pick up the phone to talk about any pet concerns we might have (unrelated to them! just for advice!). I’ve used Jen and her walkers for over 5 years now and I honestly would never use any other dog walking service in Philly. She is trustworthy, reliable, AND LOVES all of her dogs. And my dog absolutely loves her dog walkers, as I’ve been able to see a couple times when my dog will go running toward them, tail wagging if we happen to bump into them on the street. Jen uses an easy-to-use app to schedule walks/pay invoices and to see the daily walk reports which is super convenient. Also Jen makes herself available for every client and will always try her best to accommodate any late requests - I can’t tell you the number of times I’ve had to put in a last minute request for a same-day dog walk or for an overnight stay the week-of and Jen will always make it work. Aside from that, it’s great to get pictures of my dog on her walk while I’m at work - I truly never have to worry Sophie when I’m not at home because I know she’s in such great hands. Jen and her team has been taking care of our dog since he was brought into our family as a puppy! From consistent walks, amazing walkers and just all around dog people to overnight stays, she has been there for us throughout his life (and will be for the many years yet to come)! Jen is understanding and flexible with last minute changes, which for us happen a lot! Her walkers leave a note about their walk every time and even text/call us from time to time with updates. I have never noticed a thing out of place in out of place after a walker left. The Shawe's Paws team is the only team I trust to take the best care of our dog! Jen has been in my dog's life for years (even though we've since moved to the suburbs.) She and her staff are flexible, reliable, and they LOVE their charges/pets. They truly understand my quirky, sweet dachshund and he loves them for it. He even got to sleep over Jen's house!! Jen is super responsive and capable and she chooses excellent staff members. I could go on and on, cannot recommend highly enough!

My puppy Maeve loves her Tuesday daycare trips. She is a little ball of energy and she always comes back happily drained after a day of daycare. They have both indoor and outdoor areas for the dogs and plenty of play equipment and enrichment. I’ve never had an issue with my dog being injured while there. I’ve brought my other dogs who have had some behavioral issues such as separation anxiety and they worked really well with them too.
We have been using Kiwi for years - now with a few different dogs. We currently have two "special needs" dogs - one blind, one deaf - and I can't say enough about the patience and care shown by the staff in caring for these valued members of our family - I never worry about leaving them for boarding, and our one dog has a great time at day care. Staff is friendly, helpful and accommodating - highly recommend!
5 Stars for bringing our Mira out of her shell! She absolutely loves it here and all we have to say is "school?!?!" and she's at the door ready to leave in the morning!!! The staff is excellent with her and she feels so safe with them, as well!

Sky stayed at KIWI Dogz for 10 days. She participated in all-day doggie daycare and was cared for in their boarding facilities. Today, when we picked her up, Sky looked so happy. I don't think she wanted to leave her new doggie friends and their caring staff. I highly recommend KIWI Dogz for your daycare and boarding needs.
I go 30 minutes ouf of my way to take my pups here. The staff is all super kind and engaged. They take great care of my dogs! I’ve been using them off and on for 10 years and only paused while living further away. It’s hard to trust someone with your fur babes and they really do love them here.
Staff were pleasant and helpful. Dog seemed happy and was tired at the end of the day.
Janine is without a doubt the best groomer! She is the only person who our special-needs dog lets anywhere near her nails and she is always so loving & kind towards her. We're so grateful we found her and we would NEVER go anywhere else!
They take great care of your dog. We recently went away and our dog got a bit anxious while staying there, likely due to how busy it was during this time of year. Ann the owner was great and her staff kept in touch with us to let us know how he was doing.
Our dog Molly loves this place. She goes three days a week and enjoys playing with the larger dog group there. She has A LOT of energy so it's great that she gets it out while we are at work. It appears that the staff actually enjoys working there and cares about dogs wellbeing. It's fun seeing our girl on social media having a blast. Molly also gets groomed there - it's not exactly cheap but that's because they do a phenomenal job. My only small gripe is *sometimes* the building and she smells like pee when I pick her up.
House of Dog is amazing! I bring my two dogs Miley and Presley there to get their energy out during the week. Everyone knows you and your dogs. It’s run like a regular daycare with lots of enrichment, play time, and they sometimes send them home with arts and crafts. It’s so much fun and my dogs love it! Highly recommend!
House of dog is great! We have been sending our 2 year old mixed rescue Shadow for about a year & 1/2 now to daycare & she loves it! She went through training classes there! She was board there for our wedding & they even transported her to the wedding to be in our ceremony! They do cute themed days! Now we will start sending our new puppy Rocky who is a 6 month old mixed rescue! He just went through his temperament test and seems to love it already! The staff is amazing & I can’t recommend them enough!
My puppy Dakota has been coming here for a few weeks and we have been super happy!! She is always excited to get out of the car and go inside and is always so tired when she gets home from playing! I also love how they post pictures/videos on Facebook all day you can really tell they love the doggies like their own! :)
There aren't enough good things I could say about House of Dog! My dog Romeo has been going there since we first got him (7months) and he LOVES going. I love how they post so many pictures and videos to ease the pup parents minds while they are at daycare/boarding. I have a 8 year old pit, Autumn, who can be a little fearful and was nervous she wouldn't be accepted, but they assured me they would make her stay as enjoyable as possible. Whenever I can recommend this facility, I do!
Hank has been going to HOD for almost a year and we absolutely love it! He attends daycare 3 days a week and has the best time. The staff is always friendly and super welcoming. As soon as we walk in the door, we are always greeted and Hank’s tail instantly starts wagging! I love all of the pictures they post on Facebook and I can always tell Hank is having the best time. If you’re looking for a place to board or send your dog to daycare HOD is the place to go! We love it so much!
This is the only place I would ever feel comfortable boarding my dogs. It’s a ver large, nice, clean building. They even have the cutest shuttle. Follow their Facebook for the cutest posts.
House of Dogs Retreat and Spa was the best move for Tootsie. She loves going there and playing with the other dogs and humans. The workers are friendly and pay great attention to the dogs.
The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive in creating a welcoming atmosphere. They provide a safe and comfortable space for my fur baby. Riley loves going here and she will sleep until 2pm the next day. I can’t recommend House of Dog enough!
HOD is great for doggie day care, and boarding needs. We have been a customer for the last three years and have seen the business evolve. HOD has been effective every step of the way at always keeping up the high quality of their services. They have a great staff and well maintained facility. Their staff are great with communication and they have a client portal which is very user friendly. Highly recommend!
I have been using Jim for dog walking and boarding since my 10 year old dog was a puppy. He is reliable, flexible, and trustworthy. Most importantly my dog is crazy about him.
I didn't think I'd be able to find anybody that I trusted as much as much as my close friend who had been walking my dog while he was in between jobs. Not only is Jim very dependable, but he's also willing to deal with my sometimes fluxuating schedule. I highly recommend him.
Asked Jim pretty last minute to see my cat when we went away for for a week. He came over the next day, got oriented, and then checked on her every day for a week. Rates seem fair, he played with her, did litter and food and brushing. Seemed to look for things to do for my cat. Will use again and do recommend.

Lisa is incredible. She has helped me so tremendously I can’t even put it into words. My cat Homer is a 16 year old newly diagnosed with diabetes, which makes leaving for holidays and events a bit harder due to his injections. Lisa has helped me more times than I can count, and Homer loves her! It is such a weight off my mind that he is being cared for so well. She sends updates and photos and is always so generous with her time. I can’t imagine what this past year would have been like without her help.
I have used Lisa Burke from Family Style Pet Sitting as my pet sitter for 13 years now. My old dog would actually get excited when he saw us packing for vacation because he knew he was going to go to Lisa’s house for his “vacation.” I never worried about him because I knew he was in the best possible hands. When he was sick and required special care and medicine, she was the only one I trusted. She also takes care of my two cats and my new dog, and she used to take care of my chickens when we had them as well. Highly recommend!!
Lisa was a God send for our family. We had a vacation planned which got changed around a few times due to a family emergency. Lisa was ready at every corner to adjust as she was able. Is there some one watching your pet when she works all day. and is a caterer by night. We reached out to Five Paws very last minute to see if they would be able to watch our dog who had significant medical needs. They were wonderful from start to finish and I was so confident each time that she was in such great care. We've previously had her boarded and she would seem so stressed when we picked her up. We were desperate to find an alternative and we didn't look back once we started using Five Paws. They give updates, pictures and each time we came home she was as happy as can be. They provided such peace for us knowing she was in good hands and was happy especially given all of her medical concerns (dog dementia, blindness, hard of hearing, pain, etc..). Our Sahara has since passed but I would use them again and again with any dogs we may have in the future and cannot recommend them enough.
I don't trust anyone else with my pets when I'm away! I love that I know I will get photos of my cats and a report of how the visit went from the sitter. They take time to give the cats individual attention, not just coming in to feed, clean, and leave. Scheduling is very easy and the rates are reasonable.
Hi: Kudos to Five Paws Recently had Five Paws cat sit our cats and pond fish. The team at Five Paws hit a homerun with us. The team is very professional, respectful and loving to our gang. The team of Melinda and Blythe were so observant of our pets, even going out of the way to feed our strays, without blinking an eye. Special shout out to Melinda who really saved the day as she was feeding the fish in our pond, when she noticed that one of our goldfish got stuck in the filter. Without any hesitation she jumped in to save him, which would have been a disaster if she didn't as he would have passed and fouled the pond water. Five Paws has taken excellent care of all my pets (rabbit, cat, mice) for many years now and they do an excellent job! They were even able to give my cat pills (in pill pockets) and coordinated with my vet once when she stopped eating and I could not be reached. They are reliable, responsible, trustworthy, and professional. I will continue to use them when I go on vacation and highly recommend them!

We have been using Five Paws for a few years now, for small weekend trips or week long vacations. They have been so wonderful with our pups. It is a relief to know my dogs are in good hands and they can remain comfortable in their own space while we are away, instead of in a kennel which would stress my 13 year old pup too much. We used Five Paws for our cat while we were on vacation. It was the first time we left her behind without family checking in, and I was a nervous wreck. Faith was our sitter, who took wonderful care of our girl. After every visit, we'd receive an update with multiple pictures. We've already put in our vacation request days for this summer!
I HIGHLY recommend hiring Five Paws of Delco! The owner is fantastic, the scheduling process is so simple, and all of the sitters are wonderful! They are EXTREMELY reliable and trustworthy, which is so important when you're away. They also have a great app used to communicate with each sitter and to see pics of your pups! I always receive such a sweet and detailed update from our sitter after every visit. I had an experience where I was out of the country using a different sitter (not Five Paws of Delco) who was supposed to watch my dogs at their house for the week. They decided that they no longer wanted to watch them after a couple days, so they dropped them back off at my house, alone. I was panicking, just having arrived in another country, so I reached out to Five Paws of Delco who immediately responded and scheduled multiple last minute visits for me. I cannot thank them enough for being there during this very stressful time! It's so comforting to know we always have them available to sit for our dogs. It was my first time here and they were good with my two small dogs. Very thorough with explanations and we did a trial day before their actual check in - so that we’d see if the dogs would be a good fit. I was able to put them in the same room and keep them together. They called me with an update and left a message for me. My one dog is part Chihuahua with some behavior issues and they were able to accommodate him just fine. They came back happy and safe. The staff is very friendly and they treat you with a lot of understanding. I was able to bring some things from home to leave with the dogs for comfort items. I was very nervous leaving them but they eased all of my worries. Thanks !

This is now the umpteenth time we’ve lodged our dog, Cosmo, here, but a perfect example of how Philadelphia Pet Hotel & Villas always goes above and beyond: While I had arranged for a late check out, my flight kept getting delayed. I ended up picking up Cosmo at midnight, and even at that time, there was someone there to hand him over and carefully read me his detailed chart (notes on his stay)! This same visit, they gave me a call to let me know Cosmo had gotten a tiny scratch on his nostril while playing… so tiny that I probably wouldn’t have noticed it day-to-day, but they did! They watch over many dogs but still deliver attentive and individualized care to each dog. The peace of mind I get when traveling knowing Cosmo is safe and cared for is worth it every cent. As seen below, Cosmo himself cannot wait for his next stay.
I recently boarded my dog here for around a week. It was my dogs first time boarding and I was super nervous leaving him by himself since he's also a little reactive to other dogs. But the staff here were so kind and accommodating to our needs and my dog had no issues while staying here. Will definitely be coming back here to board my dog and recommending this place to my friends!
Absolutely stunned with how amazing this pet hotel is! I needed to board my 65 lb yellow lab named Mango in a short amount of time and Daren and Chris from Philadelphia Pet Hotel & Villas wasted no time to accommodate our needs! Being given a tour of the facility, I knew I had chosen the right place for my dog when I saw their 'villas' and play areas. Beautiful land, clean facility, excellent price. Mango will be back!
Great, modern, clean pet hotel w very attentive staff. Honestly surprised it's in Philly. We felt really good about leaving our dog here for a week. We got photos each day, email reports, and she had play sessions each day.
They did a great job with my Geely! Their cat facilities are really beautiful. Each cat gets 1 hour of playtime per day outside of the cat condo. The staff was very attentive to his needs and they even contacted me to let me know he was not eating much (which is completely normal when a cat is outside of his/her comfort zone). Geely was perfectly fine and had a wonderful visit, I just really appreciated how much they cared about him! I would 10/10 recommend to a friend. We love Philly Pet Hotel & Villas!
I cannot rave about this place enough. Our sweet little boy was there for 8 days while we vacationed. We got updated photos and told about his progress throughout the whole trip. When we picked him up he looked like he was having the time of his life and the staff was so friendly I can just tell they treated our guy well by how he wanted to say his goodbyes to everyone. Rosie is absolutely wonderful! She is not only reliable but also incredibly loving towards our dog. Every time we leave our pet with her, we have complete peace of mind knowing that she is in great hands. Rosie goes above and beyond to ensure our dog is happy, well-cared for, and safe. We also love all the pictures she shares with us of the activities our dog is doing! We couldn’t ask for better dog care and highly recommend to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring.
Rosie kept our dog overnight. Our dog can be nervous, especially around new people, but she warmed immediately to Rosie during our meet and greet time. In less than ten minutes my dog was sitting next to her getting her ears rubbed! Rosie was also careful to introduce our dog to her other boarders one at a time so that she could be sure that animals had good interaction and our dog was not overwhelmed. We will definitely place our pup in Rosie’s care again when needed!
Rosie has been caring for my 3 fur babies for a couple years now and always pampers my pooches to the point they don’t want to leave! I feel so very comfortable leaving my dogs with her and she always accommodates me the best she can (especially last minute). When I pick up the dogs, they honestly act as though they don’t want to leave. That is a true sign that they are loved and cared for by Rosie. I highly recommend her!
Rosie has been a phenomenal find! Our dog (3 year old goldendoodle) loves to stay with her in her home when we are busy or on vacation. She keeps in touch by sending pictures while we're away and our dog always looks so happy to be with Rosie and the other dogs. We will definitely be using her again - 5 stars!
Rosie is the best! My dog loves her daycare days to the point where it's almost impossible to get her in the car when I come to pick her up, even after a full day of playing. She always comes home happy and tired, and Rosie is so sweet with her. I can't recommend her and Main Line Dog Care enough!
We've boarded our 10 year old Havepoo Daisy with Rosie several times in the last year. Each time has been a very good experience for both Daisy and us. Rosie's love and commitment to the dogs in her care is always evident. She is reliable and very easy to work with. We highly endorse her for anyone looking for to board their dog in the Mainline PA area.
Rosie is incredible with our pup, Hobie. She is super flexible & she always sends photo updates so we can see how happy he is with his other fur friends. We are so lucky to have her! Highly recommend.
I wish I could give her more stars if I could! I was so lucky to have found Rosie back in 2020. I rescued my dog Winston in 2020 and was a little nervous finding care for him because he was quite reactive. Big dog boarding facilities were just too overwhelming for him. The one facility we tried, he would book it out the door as soon as you picked him up, just trying to get out asap! Now at Rosies, he runs right up to the door so excited to go in! She welcomes these dogs into her home like they are her own. She's so great with sending photos and the photos I receive always put a smile on my face knowing he has dog friends to hang out with, couches and beds to snuggle up on, and a big backyard to play in. It's so much more personal and home-like than a big boarding facility. As for the negative review, I would fully expect to pay for anything Winston might have destroyed of hers. This is her home and you're taking your dog there knowing that. At the end of the day, dogs are dogs. Your dog could have never chewed anything up in it's life and then just decides one day to chew something! As a millennial woman with no children, my dog is my child. He is my life. And I trust Rosie with him 100%! <3
We are so lucky we found Rosie! She cares for our 6 year old labradoodle Quincy like we do in our own home. She spoils him with daily walks and visits to the dog park. She makes our time away care free knowing he is with her. She sends pictures and updates and puts us at ease. She's a real dog lover! Quincy is the lucky one!!! Thanks Rosie!
Hi - I recently traveled to Europe for a week and Rosie watched my 2 Chesapeakes and did an amazing job. One of my dogs is epileptic and Rosie was great about giving him all his medications. I will definitely be using Main Line Dog Care again.
I've been using Love Em & Leave Em Home for a few year. They are the best pet sitters I've ever used. They keep a journal of every visit to my 2 dogs which I read when I return. They take in my mail and ensure a light is on at night. Best of all, my dogs love them. When I get home the dogs don't need any adjustment time like when I used to take them to a boarding facility. We are happy with Tina, Trish and the crew and highly recommend them.
I have used them many times and would highly recommend them. The people who own and work there really care about your pets. I know my pets are being well taken care of.

Wag Days is amazing! My dog attended the 3-week puppy preschool and learned so much during his time there. The staff at Wag Days sent updates on his progress and tips on how we can practice at home. They truly care about all the pups that come through. We also love visiting for regular day care now that he has graduated. Couldn’t recommend way days enough!
Our dog started at Wag when she was about 5 months. It's been almost a year now and she can't get out the door fast enough to get to school. Nora and the staff really love the dogs as their own. I love watching the stories and seeing Holly playing with her friends throughout the day. Thank you so much for all the fun safe space you provide the dogs.
We started bringing our puppy to Wag Days last fall to help with her socialization (and get out some of her puppy energy!) and we couldn't be happier with the care she continues to receive. She has so much fun "going to see her friends" and does her excited dog dance when we get within a block of Wag. We love that she gets a mix of indoor and outdoor exercise, has access to enrichment through our membership, and is friendly with all dogs she comes across through the great socialization she gets at Wag. We've also used the home-based boarding and loved that she got to hangout with people she knew from going to Wag while we were away. I also appreciate getting photos of her during the day and being able to check what she and her friends are up to on the Wag Days instagram account. Can't recommend this place enough and feel lucky that it's located in South Philly!
We are a big fans of Wag Days! Our pup Olive is about 10 months now. We originally started with another puppy kindergarten class, and the trainers expressed their concerns with our pups play style -- they weren't sure if she would be a good fit for day care or the dog park. As experienced dog parents, this was really upsetting for us to hear, especially with such a young dog. We were determined to make sure she was properly socialized. My husband had won a free day at Wag in a raffle, and initially I was hesitant to redeem the offer because of the feedback we had. We reached out to Wag Days, explained everything, and they basically said, "We got you. Bring her down, lets have an eval and go from there". Long story short -- Olive crushed her puppy school training with them, has the best time ever at day care when she goes, plays well in the dog park, and has really great leash skills (with lots of treats, she is still a puppy after all). We have had such a great experience with Wag Days, and are really grateful for their help with our pup.
Our dog, Mo, absolutely loves going to Wag Days for daycare! She is basically dragging us to the door to go see her friends and comes home happy and tired from playing! We feel really comforted knowing that they love and care for our dog as much as we would! One of the best decisions we’ve ever made!
Wag Days is excellent for dog boarding and day care! I’ve been taking my dog for 3 years! My dog Biscuit LOVES playing (and getting attention), and they do an excellent job! I love that they give you tons of updates via Instagram and their portal about your dog at day care. I love seeing the enrichment activities they do - you can tell they really care about the dogs at day care! I cannot recommend them enough!
I only trust my pupper with Wag Days! In-home boarding that makes my doggo feel right at home, complete with photo updates while I'm away and lots of love and social time that leaves her completely exhausted when she gets home. Great daycare and dog walking services, too. Quick and flexible scheduling, professional and prompt communication. Highly, highly recommend! My pup LOVES her time with Wag Days, and I do too!
We (and our dog Bogey) are obsessed with Wag Days. They constantly send us pictures via email and also update their Instagram story throughout the day which is really great! Nora the owner is always very responsive if we have questions or concerns. We have also used Wag Days for boarding a couple of times and Bogey always returns happy and exhausted.
Our puppy Cooper did so well with Wag Days. Colby is an awesome trainer and I love all of the videos and pics they take of him during the day. Our pup picked up a tremendous amount of skills while refining some of what he already had in place. Can’t recommend Wag Days enough!
I literally cannot say enough about how wonderful Wag Days is. We have been taking our dog Charlie there for almost two years now & we have never had anything short of an amazing experience. Our pup sprints to daycare when we tell him that’s where he’s going & we feel so at ease knowing he’s happy there and having fun. The staff is amazing & gives frequent updates via pictures throughout the day. Your dog will come home tired & happy!
