Unfortunately, our beloved cat Gus passed away a few weeks before Jane and Javi's visit (he'd been battling cancer). While I can't speak to Jane and Javi's pet care, I can say that they took excellent care of our apartment and my numerous house plants. They even left a thoughtful card for us, offering condolences for Gus. Whenever we have pets again, we would readily have Jane and Javi stay at our place again.

John was friendly and communicative from the start. His presence was calming for our cats and he relayed daily how they were doing. Our place was well tended too, and everyone seemed happy when we arrived home. His available dates were not exact with our start or end date, and we flexed with dates knowing the holidays could be difficult to navigate and find a sitter. We were grateful it worked out and that our pets were well cared for while we were gone!

Kristen was an amazing guest! She made things seamless for my first time using zeewoi and had great communication while I was away. It was a relief to know my house and dogs were in good hands. Overall, she was very trustworthy, respectful, and dependable! My house was left very tidy and organized. She also took great care of my two dogs, Chance and Onni, and you could tell they really trusted her and were soaking up all the cuddles and attention! I highly recommend Kristen and would happily welcome her back anytime!

Suzanne was terrific and had some challenging circumstances with the atmospheric river that came through and knocked the power out for 3 days. The generator could only run things other than the water heater for some reason. She took great care of my dogs.

Mel and her daughter Benny were wonderful companions and sitters for Max and Bruno! They were reliable and communicated throughout with darling pictures of their adventures together. They easily handled any problems or issues. I think the “boys” have a new best friend in Benny - they’ll miss them both! I highly recommend Mel and would happily have her sit again!

Edie and Bob were great house sitters, great communication prior to the sit and during - they sent a daily photo of Moose, they were really friendly, the house was clean and tidy upon our return and Moose seemed to have a great time with them and settled himself with both pf them (clearly giving no bothers we were away!!) Would happily recommend these guys to anyone looking for a reliable and friendly couple. Hope you may be able to sit again for us in the future xx

It was such a joy meeting Monica! She has a great energy about her and is a huge animal lover. We immediately felt at ease about her watching our three dogs for two weeks. Monica walked all three dogs each day and texted regular updates and photos of the dogs living their best lives. Monica was so easy to communicate with. And as an added bonus, our home was spotless upon our return! Any home and pet owners would be lucky to have Monica sit for them!

Then there’s Raphael, the sweetest little cat you could ever meet. I fell for him instantly! He’s so sociable and would greet me in the courtyard each evening, walking me to the front door. It made me feel so welcome, and Heather's home itself added to that warmth. The space is bright, airy, and perfect for both relaxing with Raphael and working from home.

The location is another huge plus—right by the River Lea and the Wetlands. I brought my bike and had a fantastic time exploring East London and beyond, thanks to the nearby bike lanes and waterways. Tottenhame Hale train station and underground station is also nearby, and Blackhorse Road overground is a pretty walk away also. 

This experience was nothing short of a dream. I’d love the chance to return, as being with Raphael at Heather’s was truly a home away from home.
