I had a lovely, peaceful time here. Jane and Nigel are a great couple and I received a warm and friendly welcome. The cats are cute and self-sufficient yet also love to be around you, watching and 'helping' in the lovely large garden. A very comfortable and beautiful house with everything you could need - and to which I would gladly return. Nearby Farnham is a nice, typically English market town with great little shops. This was an all round excellent sit. You definitely need a car as it is set a couple of miles from facilities, which for me only added to it's attraction.
This being my second sit for Roisin and Ruby, her adorable Yorkshire terrier. But first on my own Trusted Housesitters account. Both sits were done with my partner Jeanette. This was the first time I had met Roisin and I was a little apprehensive. However, this feeling dissipated very quickly as Roisin is an extremely welcoming and chatty person who immediately made me feel at ease. I arrived a day in advance of the sit to get reaquainted with Ruby. The house and the vista from it are both astounding putting it mildly. Roisin has a home that could easily grace the pages of an interior design magazine! Adorable Yorkie, Ruby is such a lovely character and so easy to care for. When we returned home from the sit, I felt really lost not having her around. I would go back sit anytime. And say if you manage to get offered a sit with Roisin you are very, very lucky.
Staying at Jennifer’s ‘farm’ was AMAZING! It was my first time taking care of chickens and ducks, but it was very easy and I got to enjoy fresh eggs! I rented a car for the week from the airport and got a good deal, so it was very helpful. I went to the beach, snorkeling, and ate some really good local food. Loved snuggling with the puppies also. I would definitely love to visit the Big Island again, as there’s still so much to see. Mahalo Jennifer!
I had such a great time with Diego at this sit! He was the sweetest and so chill and just hung out with me everyday. Jinny had great communication prior to the sit and I felt so comfortable before it started and when I arrived. Their house was in a fantastic location and so close to great places to see and lots of great restaurants and cafes. It was a beautiful home as well and was a great view from the roof balcony. I would love to sit for Diego again anytime.
What a wonderful house/pet sit! Jane and Iain were so welcoming, making us feel at home straight away. They gave us lots of information, taking the time to point out areas of interest nearby. Communication both prior to the sit and during was great. Josh and Dante were adorable, with Dante being more present; they both enjoyed tickles and were super easy to care for as we had been left a detailed welcome guide. Jane and Iain's house is gorgeous in a wonderfully peaceful location and yet not too far from amenities if you have a car. We would highly recommend this sit; you will not be disappointed. I had such a wonderful time with the girls, they all have such adorable personalities. We went on plenty of walks in the countryside and the beach but also loved a snuggle on the sofa at the end of the night. Really loved this sit, Catherine and Florian were very hospitable and I felt right at home. Hope to stay again another time 😊
