Tony and I had a lovely stay at Gina and Dan's flat and loved hanging out with Figaro and George. Figaro was a bit unfriendly to begin with, but we soon had him wanting to be with us and get attention. George was always delightful to be around. Very easy going and always wanting to play. It was strange to be back home and not wake up to them playing on the bed. We missed them so much! The flat is in a great location, within walking distance to Crouch End and Highgate where there are shops and cafes. There is also a gorgeous trail along an old railway line to enjoy. Plus, there's the great view of London from Parliament Hill within walking distance through 2 parks. Oh, so many wonderful places to visit right on the doorstep! The street is very quiet and you could almost imagine you were in the countryside due to the peaceful nature of the flat. But this might have been due to it being Christmas and many people being away. London central is an easy bus and tube connection. Communication with Gina was always good and we met Gina and her husband upon their return. Lovely people :)
Conny welcomed us into her beautiful Asturian home with all her cats. The house have incredible views of the Asturian mountains, allowing us to witness extraordinary sunrises and sunsets. We arrived a day before Conny left, and she thoroughly explained all the responsibilities of the house. She was always very kind and engaged in interesting conversations with us. All her cats are wonderful, especially when food is involved 😊. The village is very peaceful, and its people are very friendly; it's It is essential to take a stroll around there.. ❤️Thank you, Conny, for trusting us. We hope more people have the opportunity to assist Conny with her kittens because being there is truly paradise.
Highly recommended! Alon is an incredibly welcoming host with a genuine motto "my house is your house". Sammy is adorable and easy to care for. She spent a lot of time outdoors or stayed close to me and usually came for cuddles before bedtime. The house and the room are comfortable, and the view is amazing!
Truelove Farm is a wonderful place to stay, in a perfect location for exploring Dartmoor, Devon and Cornwall. Anne and Martin could not have been more welcoming, we felt very at home from the start.
Barbara was an excellent host. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at her home. Especially the blueberries! But the walks with Hazel were quite special as well. I miss that dog!
