Chandra took great care of our animals while we were away. She even helped the neighbors with their animals when they escaped. I would recommend her to anyone. Thanks Chandra!

Andrew took such great care of our home and pets! They took to Andrew right away, which is highly unusual for one of our cats that usually just hides when strangers are near. He knew we'd be home late from the airport, and he even offered to grab us something to eat for when we got home. We were fine, but it was so thoughtful of him to think of it! It was great to come back to happy pets and a clean home! Thanks, Andrew and Ellie!

Katherine & Dan
I had a nice stay at Katherine and Dan’s place in SF! Lamp Chop was a little standoffish at first, but Gertrude and Magenta were playful and curious from the start. Katherine was available by text if I needed anything, but I didn’t have any major issues. I would have liked a few more things in walking distance, but I signed up for a Bay Wheels (bikeshare) membership, which was great since there’s a station right across the street!

Tom and Sarah
This was a lovely sit and I hope to return. Tom and Sarah made me feel very welcome and `at home'. The house is a comfortable family home in a beautiful area. If you like cooking, there is an inspiring range of recipe books available, plus a large range of utensils. Orla is a darling. Tom and Sarah had warned me that she would bark a lot on my pre-sit visit, but when I returned for the sit, I was accepted as a friend! She was easy to manage - didn't push her luck with things like not being allowed to sit on the sofa, didn't pull on the lead, walked safely off the lead, good recall etc. She kept an eye on me whenever she was off the lead and didn't run too far ahead. She can occupy herself but also likes to play. I didn't really figure out the rules of her games, if there were any, but we both seemed to enjoy the exercise! The only thing I would say to future sitters is that its a good idea to put her back on her lead if you see other walkers coming towards you. I had been warned that although she is good with other dogs, she tends to bark at people unless they ignore her, but I was very slow on the uptake on how I should manage this. After she had reduced a child to tears by barking at him when he said `hello', I decided to put her back on her lead if I saw people approaching us, so that even if she barked at them she wouldn't seem as `out of control' to them. This did the trick and she ignored people from then on. I would love to look after her again.

A truly memorable experience, sitting for Kate and John for two and half weeks while they enjoyed a family vacation. This is a lovely, comfortable home. Spacious and bright, it is tastefully and intelligently furnished with modern conveniences. It was a real treat for us to be able make stews and roast chicken using their full set of Le Creuset cookware accompanied by our eager assistants, two adorable dachshunds, Fergal and Otty. We also enjoyed far too many cups of coffee using the upgraded Nespresso Vertuo coffee maker. Perhaps our favorite amenity was the backyard. There are two usable areas to sit and enjoy the outdoors. Luckily the weather allowed us to BBQ and enjoy a glass of wine or three outside every night. We had a wonderful time just hanging out with the dogs, singing badly while listening to music, making up silly songs about them and snuggling until bedtime.

When we took a break from eating, fortified with loads of caffeine we spent time playing with them at the Wimbledon, Putney Commons park nearby. This park has miles of trails, ponds, streams and enormous playing fields. It’s a people, horse and doggie heaven with many new friends to investigate. The dogs enjoyed galloping along the trails, taking an occasional dip in the streams or ponds and snuffling through the underbrush.

It’s always a little sad for us to say goodbye at the end of an assignment but saying goodbye to these two doggies, Fergal and Otty and Mr. Kitten was especially hard for us. Days later we’re still talking about them and wondering what they are doing right now!

Christian & Susanne

THS has outdone themselves again, with amazing pet parents.

I was not too far away, so I drove up to meet Porter, and of course, Marney and Andrew. We hit it off right away, even found Andrew and I worked for same corporation, but in separate areas .

Andrew and Marney had everything prepared for me with detailed instructions that made taking care of the house, and Porter, a breeze.

They made me feel right at home. I found it therapeutic tending the fire throughout the day and night ( which I had never done before). Also filling the bird feeder, at least once a day, and enjoying my coffee watching the various species fly in for their meal and fly away, as they enjoyed their buffet, I gained an appreciation for birds.

Porter is a laid back, indoor / outdoor cat. This was my first experience with one. I felt like a parent sending their child into the world, hoping he returned safely, which he always did.

Porter enjoyed lying on me, as I watched TV. He was comfortable right from the start and made himself at home on my chest, lap or between my legs.

The biggest joy was the peace and quiet of the location. Gave me plenty of time to relax and unwind in this quiet, gorgeous setting.

Marney and Andrew were wonderful hosts, and I have planned a return visit in a couple of months. I can not wait!!!!

Lovely house with instagrammable conservatory and picturesque garden full of squirels and birds. Archie is a social guy, has his own personality. He will show you his likes and dislikes. He is so soft and cute. My daughters adore him. Rosanna is nice and responsive host. We spent quiet relaxing weekends, Archie was our anti stress.
