Rachel and Elan were wonderful! She sent me updates which I really appreciate. They left my house in great shape and very clean. I would definitely recommend them!
My partner Rene and I had the pleasure of dog-sitting for Amber, who lives on an Air Force base. The living situation was excellent, and we felt incredibly safe—more so than in our own apartment complex. Getting visitor passes was a breeze, thanks to Amber’s coordination beforehand, and navigating the base was easy with no issues entering or exiting. The base itself offers great amenities, including a thrift store, gas station, Blake’s Lotaburger, bowling alley with cheap food, and a pool. We especially enjoyed using the grill and watching sunsets from her backyard. The front of her home also has beautiful views of the Sandia Mountains. As for the dogs, Winnie and Rex were absolute angels. Winnie is quiet and sweet, only occasionally whining for whatever you're eating, while Rex was even quieter. He barked only at doorbell noises. As Amber showed us, Rex is a bit selective about walking, especially if the weather isn’t perfect. They both have such charming personalities, and we already miss them! Winnie prefers shorter walks, and when she gets tired, she’ll simply sit down to rest. Rex appreciates some company during mealtime to make sure he finishes his food. Both dogs had access to the backyard, so there were no accidents, and cleanup was easy. Amber’s hospitality was top-notch. She thoughtfully stocked the oat milk I prefer for coffee and left us snacks. The guest room was comfortable, with curtains that made it nice and dark for sleeping, and the shower always had piping hot water. Xfinity internet worked perfectly for Zoom calls, and we also enjoyed streaming via Apple TV and Airplay. Even Swish, the betta fish, added a fun touch to our stay with his quirky personality. Amber is a fantastic person, and we sincerely hope we have the opportunity to sit for her again.
I had an amazing sit. Thank you so much again. Dave
Tracy and Chris were great hosts, very nice and communicative. The kitties were very sweet once they got used to us. They were a bit standoffish at first, but eventually came to get pets. Rupert needs meds a couple times a day, which was only challenging if he was being picky about his food. You have to be patient when feeding him. He is very sweet, and is also patient with you :) It was all pretty easy though as we didn’t have time constraints. Tracy and Chris’s home is very comfortable and homey. They had everything we could’ve needed. You do need a sturdy vehicle to get there, but the location was great for us and views beautiful. It is out in the countryside so is very quiet and peaceful. We would definitely sit for them again.
Bo was a delight to care for - an extremely friendly and affectionate cat. I had a great time snuggling with him! Chelsea’s apartment was lovely, bright, and comfortable, and she was easy to communicate with, and very accommodating. It’s a quiet, safe building in one of my favorite Brooklyn neighborhoods. Honestly would be very happy to do it again!!
We had a lovely stay with Ralph. He's a very sweet boy who loves his ball and carried it everywhere on his walks. Anna and Anna were super friendly, and communicative. The instruction manual had everything we needed to know and was very informative! Thanks 🙂
Meadow and truffle are wonderful dogs! They are a mom and daughter duo. They are big and sweet and cuddly. I woke up in the early hours of the morning with Meadow spooning me with every inch of her body and full contact with mine. They loved belly rubs. They listen to commands like sit and stay quite readily when I used my firm voice. For the first time in my life I have no pets of my own so being able to get some puppy love while Pet sitting is such a joy for me! Thank you to the owners for making me feel so comfortable in their home! It was a lovely place to walk the dogs as well with lots of sidewalks.
