I had a great experience sitting Rufus for two weeks. He is a very gentle dog who gets excited sometimes -like every dog does-, but even then he’s super predictable and easy to handle. He’s just lovely to be around and so easy to take care of. The apartment is beautiful and very central so it was easy for me to roam around the city in my free time. Fernando was very kind and easy to communicate with. Thank you both!
A gorgeous dog, a lovely cosy home and a great rural location. Would 100% recommend this house-sit. Ali and Toby were very hospitable and provided full instructions when we met up beforehand. Eska was an absolute joy to look after, very easy-going and affectionate. We enjoyed some long rambling walks in the glorious peaceful countryside, with Eska happily on lead. A husky-chow, she contentedly sat close to the house during the day and snuggled up on the sofa in the evening. I slept in the adjoining cottage with a very spacious, comfortable bedroom and bathroom. Thanks Ali for choosing me. I'd happily sit for you again.
We received a very warm, chatty welcome from handsome Loki. Our timings didn't quite work out to enable us to meet Nicola in person but with her excellent communication it was easy to arrange a key collection from a neighbour. Nicola and Clive's home is very stylish, well equipped, immaculately clean and comfortable. It is very well located in a quiet residential street with lovely independent cafés and good facilities within very easy walking distance. Loki is an absolute star. He's a big, handsome, friendly boy who flops on the floor for a chin tickle and a stroke. We miss him already. We highly recommend this sit. Thank you Nicola and Clive.
Absolutely loved this beach getaway sit! They were very accommodating and flexible, making this an easy sit from the start. Their home is beautiful and spacious and centrally located, within walking distance to the beach and restaurants. When not out exploring or relaxing on the beach, I enjoyed Kobe’s company; he was a great companion and our favorite pastime was watching the sunrises and sunsets on the terrace. By the end it felt like I was sitting for friends and I would love to sit for them again!
My niece and I had such a great time on this sit! Leana and John were so friendly and made us feel welcome in their absolutely beautiful home! It felt like a vacation just being there. The neighborhood is peaceful and relaxing. Lucky, Chula, and Jo-Jo are three of the sweetest cats and very easy to take care of. We got to see a little more of their personalities each day we were there. We loved watching Lucky and Jo-Jo interact with each other, like besties. Jo-Jo is very playful and Lucky is very affectionate. Chula spends most of her time in the art room but comes down briefly each day to visit and get a treat. I worked in the art room so I got to spend time with her daily. Great place to work online, btw, and had no problems doing numerous client sessions. Leana was so sweet to leave art supplies for my niece to use. She has been drawing everyday since, and is in fact drawing now as I write this feedback! We enjoyed swimming at the community pool and were actually the only people there on our first day. I renewed my Texas State Parks pass while at Bob Sandlin State Park and we enjoyed a short hike there- very hot that day she we were glad for a mostly shaded trail. We took a day to drive to Canton (about an hour 15 min) and visit the First Mon Trade Days, the largest flea market in the U.S. It was worth the drive and you could spend hours there and still not see everything! I wouldn’t hesitate to come back for another sit. I was sad to say goodbye to the three kitties but so grateful for the experience!
This week I had the opportunity to take care of Martin and he is the sweetest dog. He really loves to play with a ball and like ruff war. We enjoyed the scenery as well as the house is 10 min away from a peacefully landscape. It has a lot of amenities in easy reach such as cafe, taxis at night, the nightbus and really close to the lake so you can also swim there. Ani and Tobias were so nice to us always making sure we had everything we needed. It was such a privilege for them to open their house and let us stay with Martin. 🐶
