Our stay in Marrowstone was absolutely wonderful. The three dogs all have their unique personalities. If you played fetch with the two all day, they would keep up with you no problem. They all respond to commands, and they love to snuggle at bedtime. Also, the home is beautiful and, we greatly enjoyed our stay. Karin's father is also in the neighborhood and can tell you so much about the history of the island. Thank you so much, Karin!
Izzy has been a small, furry, cuddly dream. She captured both our hearts in the weeks we were fortunate enough to stay with her and we already miss her a lot! Izzy is a friendly and companionable love-bug who loves to be in human company, snuggled up in her dog bed with her favourite toys, or cuddled with us whilst chilling and watching TV or reading. She and Rob became very attached to one another, with them together at all times! She particularly enjoyed joining in with yoga. Izzy loves her morning and evening walks with her time in between spent sleeping (near Rob) or avidly watching the squirrels on the porch! Michael and Christina live in a beautiful, safe and friendly neighbourhood with some great views of Northern Colorado's front range. They are two lovely people who are both extremely generous and kind. They left clear instructions on how to care for the home and Izzy and were keen for us to enjoy our stay which we really appreciated. We feel really glad to have met them and to call them new friends! Michael and Christina made us feel welcome from the minute we arrived to the minute we left. Simply put, this housesit was a pleasure and we adore little Izzy, Thank you for having us, Rob and Yuvani
I had the best time with Sully in Asheville! Jan and Amanda were incredibly welcoming and warm, and we had excellent communication before and during my sit. Their home is cozy and comfy with everything I needed while there. Jan and Amanda made sure I was comfortable and I really felt like I was able to make myself at home. This is also a great location in Asheville! Just a few minutes drive to downtown. Wonderful homeowners, great communication, and an excellent location. But the best part is Sully :-) Sully is a really easy going dog who is happy to go for walks or to cuddle on the couch, and won’t mind being in his crate for a good period each day. I had no problems leaving him to go explore the area and he was always such a delight to come back to!! I would be thrilled to watch Sully again in the future :-)
We had the most enjoyable week sitting for Mister Leo. He is extremely well behaved and so much fun to be around. He loves playing fetch, catching and eating snowballs, and just being outside. He'll go on as many walks/hikes as you're willing to take him on and is easy on the leash with good recall as well (as long as there are no squirrels in sight). My husband and I both work remotely and we loved how Leo would take turns napping at our feet. Katie and Jordan's home is gorgeous with everything you could need for your stay, and the guest suite is spacious and very comfortable. Communication with Katie was a breeze and she left great suggestions on where to take Leo for walks, buy groceries, local restaurants, etc. Seriously, the hardest part of this house sit was leaving. We miss you already Leo! Hope to see you again soon!
We loved spending time with Earl Grey and house sitting for Kim and Jim. Earl is a fantastic cat! He is communicative and playful, yet also low key. He befriended us quickly and was a joy to care for. Kim and Jim are kind, thoughtful hosts and clear communicators. Both their home and the surrounding forest are gorgeous. The location feels remote and peaceful yet is a short drive to town or the ferry to Seattle. We would love to sit for them again, and highly recommend the experience to others. Thank you, Kim and Jim!
What a fabulous sit! Trouble, the star of the show was absolutely no trouble at all, he is the sweetest boy, who loves a fuss, and some lap time. He took his tablet every morning without any fuss. He accepted us very quickly and was great company. The chickens were also very easy to look after and gave us three eggs most mornings. They will basically follow you anywhere for corn, so putting them to bed at night was very straightforward. Nicky and Richard have a lovely home with a beautiful garden. There is lots of space and we had a pretty bedroom overlooking the garden with a very comfortable bed. Alrewas is a very friendly village with a shop, cafe, several pubs, butchers, fish and chip shop, Chinese takeaway, Indian restaurant, hairdresser and dentist. There are also lovely walks along the canal. It basically has everything you need for an ideal sit. Nicky and Richard welcomed us into their home very warmly. We visited them prior to the sit and before they left Nicky had prepared lunch for us which was appreciated. Communication was good before and during the sit despite them not always having internet service, and their daughter who lives nearby also offered help should we need it. I highly recommend this sit - we really hope we will be able to do it again as we loved it. Thank you Nicky and Richard for trusting us to look after your beautiful home and of course Trouble… I really have fallen in love with him 🥰
