I enjoyed a very laid back stay with Ranger. He is well trained and lets you know what he wants: from going outside, to going for a walk, or chasing after a dog toy. He was wonderful company! Erin and Ron were very easy to communicate with. They gave clear, simple instructions for the house, the pool, and Ranger. Their clean and comfortable home is in a very quiet neighborhood, yet just minutes away from anything you might want. The bird feeders on the back porch were delightful because birds came every day, just outside the breakfast nook windows! I also enjoyed a comfortable bed in the guestroom, with it's own bathroom. I totally recommend this sit, 10 out of 10!
Great communication from James and Jamie! I absolutely loved looking after Pearl, Figaro (and the occasional glimpse of Lily). What a lovely crew of fur children. Pearl was very easy to walk and play with and gives great cuddles. Figaro was a super friendly guy who loves a snack. Their home is very comfortable and clean and tidy. It is in a great location with access to public transport (tram close by). Plenty of good food options around. I would definitely sit again. Thanks guys!

We had a wonderful stay with Lionel at Am and Dan's lovely house. Am was kind and excellent to communicate with. They both made us feel very welcome and relaxed in their clean, beautifully decorated and well equipped home. We loved our evenings in front of the open fire and the kitchen was a joy to cook in. Lionel has a vibrant spirit and is very curious in what you are up to. He loves the typical cat games and made us giggle lots! We wanted to be near to the actual park in Preston Park, so their home was greatly suited for that, and in a friendly street. Thank you to Am and Dan for our perfect stay. I really enjoyed my first housesit and Robyn and family are lovely people. As it happened, the weather was frigid and snowy most of the time I was there, so it was great to have a pretty, homey and VERY organized place to snuggle down with Simba, who is very sweet and so soft. Robyn has a set up in place that would makes it easy for anyone to care for Simba. His food, water and litter box practically run themselves and he requires almost nothing but snuggles and petting. He spent much of the time hankered down in front of the heating vents due to the frigid weather probably, but the house was warm and comfortable. Damian is even able to control the temperature from a distant locale at the drop of a hat if you just message him. The whole house is tricked-out to make everything easy. I didn't ask what he does for a living but I wouldn't be surprised if he were an engineer. Both Robyn and Damian were very accessible by phone/text. The home is very centrally located near stores, restaurants and shopping. If you don't have a car, the bus runs right by their street. There is also a wonderful park, Lincoln Park, where you can walk through the woods or on the waterfront for miles. There are several other parks but since the snows came, I was not able to visit them. These people are so nice. I was there through Christmas and New Years and they put and left up their Christmas tree so that I could enjoy it, even though they were not going to be there for the holidays. I highly recommend this house sit and also West Seattle, particularly in summer so you can enjoy the beaches and activity. Sent | Jan 2, 2022
Oh my gosh, Lauranell and Gary were wonderful! They built their own beautiful home over 10 years and trusted us to be their first housesitters in their gorgeous new house! What an honor! They were super easy to work with, warmly welcoming, and amazingly flexible when challenges arose. They were excellent communicators and left great instructions for their house and cat. Their house and property are gorgeous--they basically live in a redwood forest! Deer and turkeys were regular visitors. Santa Cruz has it all--the ocean, the redwoods, the Boardwalk. Their cat Allie is a sweetheart. She was very warm and affectionate and makes her opinions known. Her most adorable quality is when you hold up her brush, she rubs against it, basically brushing herself! We had a terrific 2 weeks with her and highly recommend this housesit!
