I was delighted to take care of Gethin. Ordinarily, we sit as a couple but I was on my own for this very enjoyable, short stay. A great location, a happy playful dog and the start of Spring. I arrived the evening before the sit. My hosts had prepared & printed a comprehensive Welcome Guide, which was invaluable. We had a relaxing talk & walk together the next day with Gethin, before they headed off. Several parks are nearby for Gethins exercise and the marvellous Oxford city, only a 15 walk or short bike ride. Excellent! My thanks go to Pegram and Anthony for choosing me for this 1st class petsit in Oxford.
Maggie and Jim‘s house is cozy and comfortable. I had my own spacious bedroom and a bathroom on my own . The house is very quiet, lying almost at the end of a dead end Street, very close to nature. A bus station to downtown is just down the street and you reach it after a 5 minute walk. Maggie and Jim are very generous and even offered me to use their car. I loved the piano in the spacious living room, started to play again. Ghengis is a very independent cat who likes to be outside all day. In the morning and evening he loves to cuddle. I fed him once a day. Didn’t need to clean his toilet. As it was very hot during my stay I watered the lawn and the plants on the porch. Loved to keep them alive. I highly recommend to stay at Maggie and Jim‘s home.
