Brian was great and was my first sitter experience through TH to look after my two little dogs and one of them was a recent rescue I had for a month and learning new things and still training. Brian was good with communication, clear about his travel plans and we managed adjustments to him coming in early by a day. This was helpful for me to feel I can personally give orientation to my home and pets before leaving for a few days. Brian was also good with the hand-off to my next sitter when weather conditions delayed me. I came back to a tidy home and happy pets. Brian was calm with my new pup's minor furniture destruction. Thankfully I bought the warranty! I would recommend Brian to anyone and would consider him again for future sits!
Janessa and Joey were great communicators and their home was lovely. It is away from the Twin Cities and its suburbs, so you'll definitely want a car. As for the animals, Tito and Loon are wonderful critters but be forewarned, they are a bit demanding in wanting to snuggle and play, and they both will insist on sleeping with you. The two have great personalities and are a lot of fun. Loon reminds us of the little kid who can't stop saying, "Mom! Look at me!"
Sophie is simply adorable and such a joy to be with. Mary and James were so lovely and communicative and helpful. The house is lovely and in a great location just outside of Euegne in a private community with some nice short walks and very close to a major trailhead. You feel far away yet town is just 8 minutes away. I would be thrilled to sit Sophie again.
We have had the most wonderful week looking after Murphy, Marley, Millie and Maddie. They are each such a delight, with different personalities, but each affectionate. Amanda and Peter made us feel so welcome, gave really clear instructions and routines and their house is beautiful place to stay. Its a lovely neighbourhood, with great walks nearby (which the dogs really enjoyed) We are looking forward to returing in a couple of months time and recommend this gorgeous family to any sitter.
We had a 5-star experience with our hosts Jax & Sully…their owners we pretty cool as well :). In all seriousness, beautiful, clean home, great neighborhood and two for the best dogs ever. Thanks for giving us the opportunity to be dog-sitters for a week. We had the best time. Can’t wait to come back!
Batman was such a sweet kitty! He was so cuddly after a day or two while he was still warming up to me :) Barbara was so responsive to anything I needed, and she made sure to let me know anything that was going on at the house like people who would be cleaning it or working on the gutters. All so I wouldn't freak out, which I would have if she hadn't told me. I would housesit for her again in an instant!
Harvey ,2 years ,and Midge ,13 years ,are a very funny team! Midge sadly had back surgery , trouble walking and stays mostly in her bed. Meanwhile big pup Harvey enjoys long walks, ball toss and sniffing Midge! Friendly neighbors and many great walks! Plus park across the street.
