This was the longest house/critter sit I have done so far, five weeks! Nicole and Hal's house is in Agoura Hills California & what a beautiful location! Their home was tidy and clean! I let them know that my reason for taking the assignment was to visit with my Burbank daughter. She was able to drive to visit me at their home, and we had a fun time with the three cats in our care. I truly bonded with each cat; they are all so uniquely themselves. I miss Beau, Basil, and Natchez very much. We hope to do another sit, as it worked out well for everyone :))
Sadie was an absolute delight to live with. She is one of the sweetest dogs on the planet. She also has obviously been trained and can be taken for walks off leash. Though regular activity and sniffing around all the smells outside is her first love she will gladly sit next to you on the porch and stare at the mountains with you for a few pats on the head from time to time. The location of the house is a dream to me, plenty of nature and space for roaming and walking yet very close to town. The location in the valley is fantastic as well. So close to hiking, skiing, rivers, lakes, hot springs, Glacier etc. I found their home to be cozy, comfortable and spacious. Rick & Gael are kind, genuine, accommodating, considerate & understanding people.
Had a nice time at Laura's last weekend. It was my first sit and I was a little worried about handling 3 dogs, but they are all so friendly and relaxed. Laura left great written instructions, but the pups all knew the drill too! Her home is clean and comfortable, close to everything you need shopping- and food-wise, but it's quiet in her neighborhood and backyard, for sitting on the deck and playing ball with the pups.
Lovely home in great location, walking distance to park, shops, trains and buses. Short drive to the beach. The two dogs were great company, affectionate and well behaved. I had a most enjoyable and relaxing stay. Thank you.
Nicole and Andrew welcomed us warmly and guided us around to see all the needed to know. It was appreciable! In addition, the communication before and during the stay was fluid. By the way, the welcome guide is very clear. Leo, Raine and Pichu are 3 very nice and easy cats to take care of !
