Loica and her daughter were great cat and house sitters for our 6 weeks away. Loica was proactive and very helpful with any house or cat concerns, which was super appreciated. We came home to very happy cats (they clearly loved them and Loica made a special effort to bond with Astrid who is a scaredy cat), and our house was in good shape. Our experience with Michelle was nothing less than perfect. We were able to meet in person before the sit which was helpful to establish our comfort with each other. We communicated nicely before the stay and during the stay. With Michelle our dogs, both older, were well taken care of! Having Michelle watch our house and dogs definitely made it easier to be away. Julie arrived right on time and I was fortunate to spend the evening with her. She is an adventurous young woman and able to work from anywhere. My cat seemed comfortable with her from the start. We contacted each other a few times during the 9 days I was gone and she could report that all was well. I came home to a calm kitty and house just as I had left it. The outside plants managed to survive in the extreme heat with her care. This was her first house sit and I would definitely ask her to sit again.

The girls were amazing. Our place was left super tidy and clean. They were 100% self-sufficient and organised, especially taking into account that there were record-breaking floods in Vienna during their stay! We were nervous and worried about leaving them with auch big responsibility during these difficult times, but they did perfectly! Even managed to get Chula to go to the loo in the rain (which even we struggle with!), impressive. They are both super sweet, and our babies fell in love with them instantly (I think the love was mutual:) ). They took Chula for a walk in the vinyards, and we got plenty of pictures too! Getting silly picture updates from them was out highlight, and we thank them for making our time away enjoyable. Thank you, ladies!! Hope your travels go far and we wish you all the best! We loved this house sit. Richie and Miso were absolutely adorable. They loved to snuggle. Miso is probably the snuggliest cat we've met. Richie loved to be around us too and would snuggle with us at night.

Both cats were very well behaved. They didn't jump on our laptops or chew cables. They really just wanted to be pet sometimes, so they were very easy going.

Alicia was a wonderful host. She made sure we had space for our stuff when we arrived which was very considerate. She was very responsive to any questions we had and made sure we had everything we needed.

The location was great with plenty of good winter activities nearby. We would happily stay here again.

Beautiful home and wonderful location. Morganton is a super cool town to explore and enjoy the surroundings. Winnie and Dottie were a joy to take care of and very sweet girls. Chickens were easy and already on a schedule which really helps the flow of care. Mr Waffles was friendly and loved to be held and cuddled. It was a lot of fun to introduce the new baby Taco (bearded dragon) to his new home and get him settled… he is super sweet and loved to be fed and held. Hope to come back to help you all again!
