Angela and Ian were very good hosts who gave us all the help and information we needed to enable us to have a really enjoyable time at their farm. Looking after the animals was a great experience for all of us and Angela had left very clear detailed instructions for us to follow. Very easy indeed. We had a great time in Valencia. Upon arrival at the train station, we were greeted by Alexandra, Ryan & Shadow who is a very friendly, affectionate and easy going dog. She is an absolute sweetheart. The apartment is very well appointed and comfortable and located close to shops and public transportation within walking distance to the old town, museums, parks and local restaurants. Alexandra and Ryan were very gracious and helpful hosts. They provided clear and precise instructions that made our stay enjoyable. We will gladly go back when our mutual schedules are in sync. We spent a very special time there. Paul and Denise are such a nice people, and have been very kind and supportive with our responsibilities. Taking care of their dogs and farm animals was an amazing and peaceful experience. Very easy even if you don’t have previous experience in a farm. If you like nature and animals, and you’re looking for a quiet home, to clear your mind, this is your place. The house is very nice and comfortable, it’s in the beautiful setting of La Coquille, close to a lake and well connected to Perigueux, Limoges or other interesting places around.
Mark and Grace were amazing hosts! They took the time to give very clear instructions and stayed in touch while they were away. Had so much fun taking care of Manny! He’s such an energetic, lovable puppy. I really hope he had fun!
Deb and Carl were wonderful hosts--their home is beautiful with a back patio garden where we spent many lovely hours. Once Kiki got to know us, she was a real joy, affectionate with lots of personality.
Had a fabulous time staying in Beth and Gus' home. They were very clear communicators and Sammy was so sweet. It took a little time to find the hiding place Sammy was in, then it was purring central.

Such an amazing top notch dog daycare facility! Owners Chris and Morgan have such an amazing setup and service. Our pup is a sensitive border collie and she sees it as a home away from home-we are so lucky to have found them.
After a three week stay over Christmas, our cocker spaniel Jimmy came home happy, healthy and settled. We were impressed with the regular photo updates and seeing Jimmy live his best life which put our mind at ease while we were overseas. Wags n Woofs is so great, our dog Kodi absolutely loves his time at daycare with Chris and Morgan and they are clearly awesome with the dogs as he is always so excited to see Chris at pickup and doesn’t want to leave him when he gets dropped off! The door to door service is brilliant, and they are very reliable and punctual.
Our dog Frankie does regular walks and adventure days with Chris and always comes home a very happy and tired dog! It's great as It means she has had her exercise for the day, socialised with other dogs and she is there when I get home from work as he picks her up and drops her off. I would highly recommend Chris/Wags'n'woofs to anyone! Much better than any other dog day care.

Utterly impressed with the level of effort and care Critter Creek put in leading up to my dog's first stay with them. Paula and the team bent over backwards to ensure my dog, Boy, was ready for his 2.5 week holiday whilst we were in the UK. We had a bad experience with another kennel in South Auckland last year so we were a bit apprehensive; however I'm totally blown away with the time spent making sure he was ready. The staff evidently love dogs, and know their stuff. When we picked him up he looked healthy, clean and happy. An improvement from last year at the other place. Thank you again Critter Creek! You guys are amazing!

Critter Creek is a happy place to take your cat or dog. You are greeted by wonderful staff who love animals. You can tell they care. Isla our dog is excited the minute we turn into the road and is happy when we leave her. I always walk away feeling Isla is safe and happy.

It's clear that they are dog lovers! They took the time to get to know our boy. Any extra info like skin sensitivity or special food they take extra care with. They give them plenty of exercise and know what dogs love to do. They have a free trial day first to get to know the dog, to see what they are like and it's good for the dog too to have a fun experience there first before being left there. On his first trial one of the workers noticed he had a thin coat of fur and said they will give him a heat pad at night time and a jumper. I was thrilled at the effort they went to to make sure he was comfortable. They had no issue with showing us all around the site. They post updates often so you can see your dog having fun while you are away to put your mind at ease! I'm super fussy with who has our little man, and these guys were top notch at answering all of my emails (of me fussing over him 😆) and meeting all of our needs.
My dog, Piper goes here every week for day care & I couldn't recommend Critter Creek enough. The minute we hit the driveway she is an excited ball of fluff & is greeted by the wonderful owner who takes her away for a day of play & fun! Piper loves her days here & comes home a very tired dog, which is no easy feat. Highly recommend - thank you critter creek team! 😊
We left Bella and Peppa at Creature Comforts for 6 days. They came home happy and healthy...and smelling divine. We will definitely be using their services again.

We have taken our dog for 8 years and my sons dog for 3 years. It’s a fantastic place where the dogs strain on their leads torun inside on arrival and always come home clean and full of life. We are lucky to have this kennel close to home.

I have bringing my pups here for years and have never been disappointed. They take SUCH good care of my pups and even hand fed my older dog when he was getting on in years. My dogs are always happy to go and in wonderful spirits when I pick them up. There are closer kennels, but none are as good as Creature comforts. Highly recommend them.
We first heard of this dog kennel from word of mouth, we are so happy we tried it ourselves. We had to travel overseas suddenly for 2 weeks, with a short notice they agreed to squeeze us in which was a relief. Tara and team are great, they are quick on responding to emails and uploading photos :) prices are reasonable and you know your fur baby are safe with them :) thanks team :)
Our dog has anxiety and had behavioral issues at her previous two kennels, so we were quite anxious ourselves about leaving her for 3 weeks. However, she got wonderful care at Creature Comforts, apparently was a doggy model citizen, and arrived back home happy and better socialised with other dogs. We couldn't have asked for more and will definitely bring her back there if we have another extended trip.
Fantastic place. My dog loved it and didn't want to leave. Fantastic people. You can ask Tara to send you pictures and videos of your pet from time to time to be sure that everything is fine. Surely, your pet should be fully vaccinated to be able to stay there.
Dave (12yr M) has been going to Kumeu Kennels for approximately 3 years. He's always so happy to go. We've used Kumeu Kennels twice over Christmas, and for a week long stint on two other occasions, plus numerous short stays when we go on overnight hikes. He comes home clean and a bit worn out from all the play time he gets 😁 (Dave is crazy for ball games). Bev is great to deal with, and I also love seeing his pictures on there Facebook page :-)
Best Dog Kennel around Auckland. Dog kennels are clean and dogs get plenty of play and rest time. Owner gives her personal time if you have questions. Top place. Highly recommended!
DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE!! My friends dog came back sick after spending 7 days there. She was separated from all the other dogs and lost weight. She is a super friendly dog however on the first night she ripped up her bed (probably due to feeling anxious & being scared). They assured me they gave her a spare bed to sleep on however upon picking her up they said she slept on the ground the rest of the nights. She also had sores & marks on her body :(( please for your dogs sake don’t take them here
I've used Kumeu Kennels twice now. The second time my border terrier jumped out of the car and ran a top speed to the compound so he obviously loves the place. Friendly staff also highly recommend.
My dog came to Kumeu Kennels having a bad experience at another kennel. The staff took the time to slowly introduce her to friends and ensure she had positive experiences. Now she loves going there and gets super excited when we tell her she's going and when she sees the staff. A much more caring and personal experience than the previous kennel. One happy dog and happy owners!
Awesome reliable service. Our dog has a marvellous time with carers and appropriately matched doggie companions every time she visits. She has a fantastic experience and comes home happy, often tired, clean and relaxed. Always excited to arrive at the kennels so we know she loves her time there. Okay, our Lil girl Soul was a resident of KBK under the care of Bev and her team (Jack especially) for approximately 4-5 months due our housing crisis resulting in pets not being allowed on site. And due to our situation and Soul needing a place to house her Beverly was there to support us and Soul thru our trying time - Bev without your love, support, guidance and care, the stress surrounding our Lil girl and her needs was quite unfathomable however, you put all of our stresses at ease. Visiting Soul and seeing her flourishing, happy, fit and healthy was something a family so needed to see thus our smiles were very wide and joyful. Your team were very aware of her quirks and needs and when we took her out or for the weekend she was well aware of where she was going to and she knew the procedures required of her on our return. We are doing better and Soul is thriving. Apologies for this reviews lateness albeit we as a family including Soul wish to wholeheartedly Thank you personally for all that you did for us especially the speed in which you took Soul on - Soul says woof woof too. Kumeu Kennels are amazing and we love sending our dog Jonty there! They have big open grassed space for him to run around in and he always seems to team up with a mate. The staff are fantastic and looking at their regular updates of the pooches on Instagram you can see they clearly enjoy doing what they do. This makes it so nice to know when you're away and it's great too when Jonty comes home with a big smile on his face! :)
Great Kennel. My partner and I rate them very high. We brought a rescue dog into our family and a kennel that was sensitive to the requirements of our dog was very mportant. Highly recommend these guys . They run a very good kennel which suits the needs of all dogs.

We cannot recommend Woofland highly enough! Our 3-year-old Labrador, who is quite pampered and has struggled to settle at other daycares, had a phenomenal 3-week stay here. After extensive research, we decided to give Woofland a try with a trial day, and we couldn’t have been happier with the experience. From day one, we were impressed by the level of care and communication. We received daily updates via social media and prompt responses to any queries we had, which gave us peace of mind. The team at Woofland truly goes above and beyond, creating a home-like environment for the dogs. What sets Woofland apart is their kennel-free system. Unlike most daycares in New Zealand, where dogs are confined to kennels overnight, Woofland allows dogs to sleep comfortably in cozy rooms, on their own beds, or even with the caretakers if they choose. Our girl Millie is quite sensitive and attached to us. She visited another daycare before, and the second time we took her there, she didn't want to leave the car. Woofland is something different. She can't wait to jump out of the car, and have a blast with her friends and the team. The serene natural environment and a huge land to run or just chill in the shade is therapeutic and so special about this place. The most amazing, friendly owners and caring employees are the trustworthy true dog lovers. They uderstand, see and observe each dog as an individual personality, and gently tailor the approach accordingly. We finally have a place to be Millie's home away from home, when we're away, and it's a huge relief. She can spend the night there inside the house, in her own bed, with a caring staff member, not alone in a cage. We are so grateful to know that our most precious girl is safe and thrives there. A great place for dogs to develop self steam and improve confidence while having fun and enjoying their freedom. My dog used to be very dependent on us and shy towards other dogs despite our attempts trying to get her socialized with other dogs from her young age. But, her shy personality was not something we could change much. She could get bullied around very easily in a normal beach walk and I had to intervene in most cases. With this background, I started taking her to Woofland with not much of hope after a friend recommended this place. I had to stay for about an hour in her first session to monitor her behavior. The second and third sessions I took her myself to see how she behaves. It was a mixture of stress and excitement for the second session. I could see she was starting to get more relaxed after the third session I dropped her off, less anxiety and more of the excitement. So, I felt fine enough using the pick-up/drop-off service after this point. Again, during the pick-ups I could see her progress building up self confidence. The first and second pickups she was getting excited while still unsure of getting into the car. But, the tides changed after the third pickup and kept getting better steadily. I would definitely recommend this place for other dog owners since I have had good experience myself. Plus, they offer a free trial session that you won't want to miss!

Highly recommend Woofland! They are an amazing team. We have an energetic golden retriever called Harley and we were keen to socialise him with other dogs and help get some energy out. The Woofland team are so kind & caring. Harley has an absolute blast, they send across photo updates which is very much appreciated and they even do some training. I visited the Woofland in person and in my opinion this is a friendly, spacious and well-prepared place for dogs. They have some different separate places to be able to classify dogs related to their size and safety. My dog loves it because he has some friends there and lots of fun with them. I strongly recommend it for all who care for their dogs.
We send our french bulldog pup Maisy here and absolutely LOVE it! We have tried out so many places, but Woofland just really stands out to us. Never thought I’d feel so comfortable leaving Maisy somewhere for the day, let alone a night!! but the people at Woofland are the most kindhearted, loving individuals. I know Maisy is safe in their care xx Definitely recommend!
We’ve trialed a few of outdoor daycares in Auckland and Wooflands is definitely the best one! Orhan, the owner is so friendly and accommodating with us, we’re so grateful to find a trusting daycare like his. He takes good care of our boy and has a great big property for the dogs to run around on. Also a bonus seeing the photos and Instagram stories of our dog having a blast during the day. Couldn’t recommend Wooflands more!
We tried 2 other facilities and our boy Theo did not like it. We almost gave up until we found Woofland. He loved it straight away. The staff are amazing and treat all the fur babies with such care and love. The owners are amazing people! The hardest part is trying to take our boy home because he never wants to leave Woofland 😅 …

My 2 cats and I met Louise during one of the most stressful times in our lives. During the Auckland flooding my babies needed a place to stay and Louise provided the care, love and attention they needed. They ended up staying at Pet Park for two weeks and came home happy and relaxed. What makes this more amazing is I moved house whilst my babies where with Pet Park so what they knew as home had changed. I can't recommend Pet Parks enough. They are just simply amazing and will love your fur baby as much as you do. Thank you for taking such amazing care of my girls!
Petparks looked after my dog, who passed away earlier this year, on numerous occasions. Although he could be quite challenging behaviorally, Petparks understood him and managed him really well and he was always happy and relaxed about going there. Jennifer and Louise were always accommodating and gracious about booking changes, and drop off and pick up times. I never felt hurried when updating them about anything new each time I checked him in for a stay - I felt that they were genuinely interested in his welfare, and fond of him. I was able to enjoy complete peace of mind about him whenever I was away, and I recommend this place unreservedly. Plus Jennifer does the most fabulous grooming!
We had our "special needs" dog Oscar (who is a tripaw Labrador X) staying with Petparks for 4 weeks in August. Oscar seemed relaxed and well cared for when we picked him up. Louise, Jennifer & Co. are very caring. Will certainly come back.
Our puppy Charlie has stayed at Pet Parks twice. They looked after him really well. We supplied our own food and they had no problem with this. It’s a social kennel - so may not suit all dogs. Charlie came home happy and healthy. I have no hesitation in taking him there again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a boarding kennel.
We have been taking our pets to Petparks for years. They have always been so well looked after, and our pets were always so happy to arrive.
We are very happy leaving our beagle Milo with this great team. Milo has stayed with them on numerous occasions and we feel he is well taken care of and I love that they have the freedom to go outside. Thanks for offering such a great service!!!
Oreo has been going to daycare at Pets in the City Wairau Park for a few months now, and she has the time of her life there. The staff are fantastic and I know they take great care of her while she's In their care. The overnight hotel option is also fantastic for me as a shift worker, and means that my dog is safe and taken care of while I'm away on overnight shifts. Highly recommend anyone looking for doggy daycare and hotel services.
Lovely staff and very welcoming environment! We weren’t sure how our boy Apollo would do on his first day as he’s never attended daycare before, but pets in the city have been amazing with getting him settled and helping him build his confidence. Very easy process with getting registered and always highlight of the day seeing the photos they post to see how he’s doing🤗
Had a day care stay during the week. Staff were great to talk to. Drop off and pickup was efficient. Have a small confident dog but young. He was fine in with other dogs. Place is kept clean and staff genuinely love dogs. They do kennel dogs overnight and rates are reasonable.

I was very scared to leave my lil Biscuit at daycare for the first time, but the staff took their time and informed me how everything works, showed me around, and kept me informed about Biscuits progress. The team are always cheerful and positive when we arrive. Both daycare and overnight stays are enjoyed by my dog. She is always tired and ready for a restful sleep after playing with her doggy friends all day. I love the social skills it's teaching her as well as the exercise she gets.

My dogs love going to Pets in the city Wairau, so much so that they forget to say goodbye to me!
Louis our miniature schnauzer had a great stay for a week. He was well looked after and we could enjoy our holiday without worrying about him. The daily photos on Facebook were great and we could see that he looked happy each day playing with his new friends. The staff were kind and genuinely cared for him. This is his 4th stay and we will definitely be back!
