Dan, Ru and the girls are lovely and their house is gorgeous and a real family home, with a very warm and kindly feeling to it. Star of the show, beautiful little Chloe totally stole our hearts with her courageous approach to life, her love of all the lap time she could get, and lots of cuddles. Everything was really comfortable and convenient - although a car is probably ideal as the house is out a little way from the village. There are amazing walks from the house, into the woods and the Chilterns, and there are several National Trusts within a very short drive, as well as Marlow and Henley - if you can drag yourself away from Chloe that long!! We would go back any time!!
Kai and Sidd are so sweet, loving, and have no shortage of fun personality. They are the perfect companions and the house was very comfortable. Their location in Golden Hill was just south of Balboa Park and 15 minutes to the beaches. Stephanie and Taylor are very welcoming and generous. I enjoyed my stay and I would recommend with ease. From the get go, this was an excellent house sit. Harley and Toothless are two awesome pets - Harley is lovely girl, extremely well trained, very sweet and a pleasure to walk. Toothless has a great personality and while he comes and goes as he pleases, he will spend time cuddling with us in the evening. Communication with Jen and Rich has been very good - from our original WhatsApp meeting to day to day texts during the sit. Jen and Rich are very welcoming and made us feel at home when we first arrived. They have a beautiful, modern home on a canal that has everything you need and is close to grocery stores and shopping. Jo and her family made us very welcome. The house was big and very comfortable. First time we learn to cook on an Aga cooker. This kept us and Mason very nice and warm in the Kitchen. There are a lot of nice walks from the house and along the canals with a few dog friendly pubs on the way. Mason is a lovely friendly dog always ready to play and loves lots of cuddles. Mason is a very gentle and loving dog. We miss him lots. We highly recommend this sitting in a rural setting but very close to all amenities and great friendly neighbours who know Mason already.
Catara is an absolutely sweet and darling meow!🧡😻🧡 This was a great last minute cat-sit and Spencer is a loving pet parent! Communication with him was clear, kind and enthusiastic both before and during my stay, which was greatly appreciated! Catara is a bit shy, but warmed up quickly and was soon lounging on the couch with me and welcoming being petted and even belly rubs! She is not a cuddler, but she absolutely loves snuggling up next to you sometimes or being near! 😊 She loves a lot of interactive play time-once you find something she’s interested in! So fun! I found it worked really well to try many different forms of play, with many different toys and to play several different times throughout the day. She is a beautiful and sweet kitty cat and a delight to spend time with! It was also fun to give her a tube treat! She loves those! Thank you so much Spencer and Catara for a lovely stay! What a wonderful experience, I had taking care of Sofia and meeting Patricia! And it was an adventure of large proportions being so near to Old Town Placerville! What fun to walk down the main street, which has restaurants and unique shops! Sofia is so friendly, that her favorite spot is next to you whenever you're in the big chair. She spends most of the day in the fenced yard. Don't be surprised is she joins you in the bed room and even in the bed. But she is so quiet and peaceful that it is a great pleasure. She is very easy to take care of, too! Patricia was very welcoming and organized, so helping her out was a treat! She makes staying in her house very enjoyable. And the house itself is very comfortable and quiet. It is surrounded by so many big trees! I would highly recommend this sit and look forward to being able to go back again!
