I loved this sit and would recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy your time with 3 great cats in a cool flat in a beautiful part of the world. Marie is a wonderful, funny woman who was very helpful with thorough instructions on the cat and flat, as well as giving recommendations on places to visit on Gran Canaria. She was also available for chats if I had any questions during the sit. Jago, Princess and Baby are great cats with 3 distinct personalities, varying in their level of affection, both giving and taking. I had a hard time saying goodbye to them. The neighbourhood had everything I needed, with many shops and restaurants within walking distance. 20 min walk to a gorgeous beach, where I walked every morning and swam every evening. There you will find numerous restaurants. There is a public bus system that can take you almost anywhere on the island, that I used to check out beautiful historical cities and towns. I would definitely return if the situation arises. Thanks Marie for trusting me with your cats.
Jessica and Peter are amazing hosts that are incredibly kind, hospitable, and welcoming. The pets are wonderful and not too demanding, even with 6 of them. This was a splendid sit and would do it again!
The sit was great. Gracie is a very well-behaved, sweet and obedient dog. Tana and Daren are very helpful and friendly. They helped me with any questions. The apartment was clean and well equipped. It is very centrally located and Faro is only 10 minutes away by train. Thanks for staying with Gracie. 😇😊
Helen & Joe are wonderful hosts - our communication was really good from the very beginning and also throughout the sit. They have two veeeery adorable and chilled dogs Banksy & Bailey (just like the description says "very loving staffies" that's really how it is :) . They both have different personalities but both are affectionate and lots of fun. They made me laugh many times, I already miss them. Bailey is rather independent whereas Banksy is a bit more affectionate and came to welcome me right away (you will fall in love with her as well, I'm sure!) and she wants to spend time with you so you never feel lonely or bored. I took them for a walk in the mornings to a close by forest/field area which Joe showed me before. They were able to run around there and get their daily exercise. They both absolutely love playing fetch, so that was a lot of fun to see how happy they were when we found good sticks to throw ;) The rest of the day they chill in the house or on the balcony and are really relaxed. I loved spending my evenings on the couch and both of them lying next to me, one on each side :) The house was really nice and has everything I needed. I was also really lucky to have a room with sea views :) The house is around 15-20min away from a beach (walk) where I went to every other day to enjoy the sunset. That's also the same way to the city center, supermarkets etc. I did everything by foot but there is also a bus station close to the house. The house also has other rooms which are used for airBnB, so there is always something going on and I met a lot of different people during the sit. As long as you are prepared for this and also for shared bathrooms, this is a wonderful sit. Long story short: my stay in Sitges was just perfect: thank you so much Helen & Joe for trusting me and I would love to come back and take care of them again.
Had a lovely mini vaycay experience at Tricias! The cats are the cutest and quality entertainment. Loved the apartment space and complex it was like being back on a university campus for adults with mountain views!
It was an absolute pleasure to sit for Jan and Dave! I was warmly greeted by them in their large, warm and comfortable home with a roaring fire and a plate of homemade brownies and a very enthusiastic hello from Mysty and Trump. They gave me a tour of the home and property and thoroughly explained care for the dogs, cat, and chickens. Mysty and Trump are wonderful well behaved dogs and Valerie the cat was friendly but kept mostly to herself except for an occasional nap next to me. The chickens and roosters were super easy, just feeding and collecting the eggs. All in all this was first class sit and I really hope to sit for Janice and Dave again soon. I highly recommend them!
