Bruce has been going there since a puppy and he stills runs in excited every time he goes. They go above and beyond to make the dogs and owners very happy! I highly recommend Teddy’s Dog Care. When we went on holiday for a fortnight this summer we sent our precious cavapoo Phoebe there to stay. We were a bit apprehensive, but only because we hadn’t left her for so long before, we trusted Michelle as she treats her boarders with such loving care. Michelle provided us with regular updates along with amazing pics which reassured us that our doggy was definitely having a fabulous time, in fact I don’t think she wanted to come home!
Teddys is fantastic. The owner Michelle is so lovely & friendly. Our Labrador always came back waggy tailed & tired! Prices are fair & the photos Michelle takes are adorable. We loved seeing how happy Daisy was with her doggy pals. Would highly recommend :)
What a find! Teddy’s Dog Care (Michelle) is amazing, my dog absolutely loves visiting and I can relax knowing he is in very safe hands. Michelle is a very honest, kind and caring person who genuinely puts her dog first. I have a very nervous dog (of people and other dogs) and he is slow to adapt to new situations. Michelle understands this and works with him to help him settle and to ensure he is happy at all times. He also has a life threatening condition which means regular medication 3 x daily which Michelle administers with no problem. I also love the fact that she only ever has small dogs to stay with her meaning that for my dog (and for my peace of mind) play time is fun rather than scary! The daily updates I receive are also very reassuring for me as I can see he is fit and healthy – and having far more fun than he does at home watching me work! I won’t leave him anywhere else and can’t speak highly enough of Teddy’s Dog Care. Michelle thank you so much!
Michelle and Tina at Teddy's are amazing! I've had my dogs there for walks, boarding and day care, and every time my dogs are SO excited to see Michelle and Tina, literally don't want to come home sometimes! I am a very nervous doggy momma and I completely trust them in these guys' care. My favourite thing is they see each dog as a person/character and not just a dog, and that counts for a lot to me - love these guys and will continue to use them for many many years to come x
Henry loves his visits to Teddy’s when I am on holiday. He is a bit of a nervous nelly but Michelle is just so amazing with him. After a stay with Michelle he is always looking for her when we are out walking. I would never use anyone else and am always safe in the knowledge that when at Teddys he is loved and cared for as if he were at home.
So glad I found Teddies; I wouldn’t want to take my dogs anywhere else! Michelle is fantastic with my two little dogs Wilfred & Rodney & they get so excited when they arrive. I have complete peace of mind when they are staying with her & always get updates on how they are enjoying their doggy holiday! When I was pregnant I arranged for Michelle to care for them, which gave me such peace of mind; I just knew they would be well looked after for a few days! ♥️
This was Elsy’s first 2 week stay at Maddie’s and she was so looked after ! Lots of daily updates with videos and photographs. The walks all looked amazing. Shelley was very professional, caring and so loving to Elsy. Really really pleased I found such a brilliant home boarding stay for Elsy to go. Have booked many more stays for her in the coming months. Thank you for all your help and amazing attention to detail.
Sammy has just had his first holiday at Maddie's and I can't thank Shelley and her crew enough for making him feel at home from home. He has previously stayed in kennels but he is 8 now and we felt he deserved some comfort while we went on holiday. The pre-stay visits were great for making sure Shelley and the other dogs got to know Sammy, and that he would be comfortable there. And by the time we dropped him off for his holiday, he was chomping at the bit to see his friends again. I didn't once worry that Sammy wasn't ok whilst we were away, as we received daily "pupdates" showing us how he was getting on and what he was up to. We could see from the photos and videos that he was happy and felt safe. The care and attention he received was as good if not better than at home. Before his stay Sammy hadn't really socialised with other dogs and we weren't sure how he would be, but he soon got stuck in at playtime and was leading the walks. I would highly recommend Maddie's and will definitely be booking Sammy in next time we go away.
Before I contacted Maddies home from home I did a lot of research as I had been rushed into hospital in January and had to leave my poor dog at boarding without even seeing it, I was worried the whole time in hospital about my dear little girl and couldn’t wait to collect her and I was determined to find a home from home boarding. I researched several but Maddies came out on top so I contacted Shelley and we meet up for a sniff test with my little girl and the rest of her dogs. Wow how thorough and professional her whole business is. I was very impressed and we arranged a sleepover, I was very anxious to be leaving my girl again but Shelley sent me regular pup dates which put my mind at ease. I was once again taken into hospital so I contacted Shelley to see if she could look after my little girl at short notice and she was there for me again. My stay in hospital was so much better knowing she was being cared for and regular pup dates made my stay in hospital bearable. My little girl loved her stay at Maddies and always had lots to occupy her and lots of walks. I can’t recommend and thank Shelley enough for looking after my little girl it really is home from home.
Teddy is cared for 100%+ whilst I go away on holiday. It's a real home from home boarding. It's peace of mind knowing he is in safe hands. Shelley makes the separation easier for me and Teddy settles. Lots of attention given to the dogs in her care. Walkies, hugs, playtime and groomed. I enjoy the photos and videos sent daily. I collected Teddy after 12 days. He's fit, healthy and no kennel cough. So pleased I was recommended Maddies home boarding & day care. I have never been disappointed. Thank you Maddie & Shelley.
Ninja has been expertly looked after by Shelley for the past three years with a mix of boarding and day care. I now have two dogs that both go regularly and they don't even look back to me when they see Shelley. It really is a home from home with personalised and loving care. Highly recommend!
Shelley and Maddie’s house is doggie heaven. Robbie felt right at home and he was clearly happy to be there. As a nervous Doggy-Mum, Shelley really put me at ease and I felt comfortable leaving him with her. Highly recommended.
Working full time we were a bit stuck when my Mum had an accident and we had to look after her dog, Chester, for a few month's. We couldn't have chosen better with Maddie's. It is certainly a home from home, but even more than that - the dogs get great enrichment, exercise and socialisation everyday. I would not hesitate to recommend Maddie's to anyone looking for doggy care or boarding for their beloved furmily member.
