This was my first pet sit and it went incredibly well! Willow is an adorable dog and the two kittens are very cute. They never get tired, so you won't get bored! Sharron and David welcomed me earlier so that we could know each other before they left. I really felt like I was home. The neighbourhood is quiet and everyone is friendly. I would really recommend if you have the opportunity to pet sit there 😊
It was such a delight to meet Brenda & Doug and look after their joyful Golden Maggie. Maggie is a sweet, well-behaved cuddle bug. She enjoys her toys, playing fetch and tug. The house is comfortable with friendly and kind neighbours. Brenda and Doug gave detailed and helpful descriptions for the sit including directions for a few local trails for us to explore. I got to share a couple of meals with Brenda & Doug and feel incredibly lucky to have met such a kind, generous and wise couple.
Jonesy and Penny are such good dogs and it was a joy and a pleasure to watch after them. Kelsey and Joe were very welcoming. There home is beautiful and in a nice area. The hit tub felt great on my aching muscles. Saint Augustine has much to offer as the oldest city. If you get a chance to sit for Jonesy and Penny you will love it!
We absolutely loved getting to know King and Frank and found it really quite hard to say goodbye as we had grown very fond of them both. They truly are such special doggies! King is a very handsome chap who loves nothing more than a good cuddle. Frank is the energetic funny younger sister who loves her toys. They kept us amused and happy every day of the sit. Hannah was easy to communicate with and her home was beautiful.
I know I got lucky meeting Matt, Daisy & Jeremy as my first Trusted Housesitters hosts. They are everything you could hope for - open, easy-going, kind, and so generous. Matt & Daisy went out of their way to make me (and my friend Toni) feel at home in their space over the holidays. Jeremy is floofy, bright, energetic, and quite the cuddle monster. He is still learning to be a dog and needs attentive and affectionate sitters, both are qualities he returns wholeheartedly. Jeremy loves puzzle toys, park hangouts, and is happy to go anywhere you go. I found the neighborhood to be very dog friendly. The flat is perfectly situated, walkable, and connected to plenty of public transportation options. The park and canal made for easy connection points between areas with lots of cool bakeries, coffee shops, bars, and restaurants. There are plenty of markets within walking distance as well. Their place is modern and cozy - full of amenities like a workspace overlooking the park, and a pizza oven in the garden. Being across the street from Victoria Park was lovely! I loved this experience because it allowed me to experience East London as if I lived there. Matt & Daisy were communicative and made everything easy. Spending this time with Jeremy filled my holidays with fun and warmth. I absolutely adore this crew and would love to sit for them again in the future if it ever works out. Thanks again for a memorable trip and hope to cross your paths again soon!
It was a total pleasure to pet-house sit for Chuck and Kate. The home is very comfortable and in a central location. My family and I met with the owners a few days before the sit to go through all the details and become familiar with their dog. Communication was excellent before and during the sit and on top of that Chuck and Kate were very generous and engaging with my family.
