I would highly recommend this sit! Teresa’s apartment is a five minute walk to the train that takes you directly into Zurich in about 30 minutes. There are no supermarkets, restaurants or cafes in the immediate vicinity but are nearby and walkable. Hiking is easily accessible directly from the apartment or you can take public transport to many beautiful areas throughout Switzerland. Teresa also lent me a bike which you can use locally or take on the train to explore other areas. The apartment is large with plenty of room for my stuff. The kitchen is well equipped and stocked with more than your basic spices for cooking. Teresa was very accessible and answered all my questions. She provided me with all the information I needed to have a great stay and take care of Dark Lord and Queenie. The best part of pet sitting is always the pets. Dark Lord and Queenie are beautiful, sweet and curious cats. They love to sit outside and play with the water dripping from the outside faucet. You need to keep a close eye on them since they will try to explore and the yard isn’t fully fenced. They would take turns in the morning laying on my chest purring. Nice way to start the day! I would welcome the opportunity to spend more time with Dark Lord and Queenie while exploring beautiful Switzerland!
Dawn was excellent host, with her detailed information and her five star hotel feel of the guest suite, the sit was quite amazing. Diego warmed up to us, showing us his funny side, playing with our shoes and running to the automatic feeder when he heard it start to come alive. Dakota took a little more time, being her princess cat self, and allowed brushing and limited pets, but mostly stayed to herself. (Well, except the late night zoomies in the living room). Dawn and her pets are a joy to sit for, I highly recommend this sit.
We had a great time pet sitting for Ellen in New Orleans! She was easy to communicate with and made a decision quickly to confirm the sit with us. We had the chance to meet with Ellen before her departure and she was very welcoming and easy going. Bubba takes a day or two to warm up but then he is such fun! He’s easy to care for and an energetic and curious walker who will provide a nice walking workout through the French Quarter. Bubba has a great personality and loves to play as well as to cuddle. Ellen lives in the perfect spot to explore New Orleans with everything right around the corner while still on a peaceful block. We would definitely recommend sitting for Bubba!
Cat sitting for Cynthia was an incredible and unique experience! Communication was not every day, but I did not feel like there were any miscommunications and I knew exactly what to do, and felt that the expectations were clearly expressed beforehand. The house and the land is just breathtaking, and the cats are amazing! I have no complaints, and left feeling rested and peaceful. Thanks again!
