With a little reluctance, we share the pleasures of our two week sit with Basil and Dill. We would love to go again! Tony and Janie are warm and helpful; staying in touch was easy and Tony’s guide is of gold standard. Their home is roomy, smart and deeply relaxing with views over the Camel Estuary. There are plenty of outdoor things to enjoy, not least lovely easy walks with sensational views and great beaches. The dogs are biddable and well disciplined and an absolute pleasure to look after and be with. They responded well to a calm approach, plenty of attention and our reward was their trust and friendship. Basil is growing older and prefers a shorter walk. Dill has lots of youthful energy and enjoyed a long jog with Simon.
Helen is a great communicator and the sit ran really smoothly. Jimmy is great company and a lot of fun. Very smart, independent and incredibly loving, Jimmy and I hit it off straight away and I now consider myself an expert translator of Bengal cat-speak - he’s incredibly easy to understand and lets you know what he needs and when. Expert to be delighted with his many wonderful little quirks and his caring manner. Helen’s home is in a great location and is very well equipped. I worked on my laptop in the sun room which was perfect and very peaceful. Jimmy helped of course! Really lovely people and a superstar cat.
I had a wonderful time with Atlas and Albus, at Sophie & Kurt's comfortable home. Atlas is a gentle giant. He loves people and other dogs. The apartment is in a perfect position for local parks and bushland walks. Albus is also very affectionate, and would hang out with me and Atlas in the evening, when I watched films on Stan & Netflix. During the day, he loved sunbathing in the courtyard. I was actually very sad saying goodbye to them. Sophie and Kurt are a very nice couple, and have a superb coffee machine. Perfect for early mornings ;) Highly recommended sit.
I loved my sitting experience overall. Cecil and Micheal extremely communitive when I had questions, they set me up with all the information to caring for the children, and made me feel welcomed. There pet children: Shaggy, McGee, and Norman are a joy to take care of!! They loved being loved on: attention, hugs, cuddles, talks , and slumber on me or next to me while I watched a movie. They both have their our individual personalities; McGee is laid back, come to you when he’s ready for affection. Where as Shaggy is excited to see you and ready to play. Especially, I’m going to miss our morning walks. Also, give McGee time to eat or sleep lol as he’s and other dog. Norman is warm and cuddly when you can catch him. He loves his Bananas and Cheerios.. Cecil and Micheal are welcoming and they home sparked joy. Extremely well organized. I recommend this sit to any if you WFH, have a vehicle, and affectionate
I had the most wonderful time sitting Sweetpea and Lentil for Georgina and John. The cats were great company and gave lots of love, and Georgina and John were very welcoming, providing all the information I could need to enjoy my time in their home. I would sit for them again in a heartbeat. Thanks guys!
That was fantastic experience! Alessia is a huge cat lover so am I, so it was just a pleasure to communicate and share our experiences! Masik is absolutely adorable and his personality is very sweet, he loves to cuddle and he is very intelligent cat, i enjoyed every moment i spent with him and miss him a lot! The flat is located in beautiful area of Oslo with a lot of coffee places and vintage shops around and there is a grocery shop just across the street, and i used tram only couple of times as i walked everywhere as i love walking. I also enjoyed the beautiful patio of the building having coffee and chatting to a lovely neighbour who also has a cat. The flat is very cosy and it was a very comfortable stay. Really hope to have a chance to come back and spend more time with Masik who is in my heart forever. Highly recommended! And thank you Alessia for trusting me and hope to see you and Masik again!
