We couldn't have asked for a better sit! Houston is incredibly charming with a calm and easy-going personality. He is very well behaved and a joy to look after. He loves going for walks and swims by the bay, which is an easy 10min walk from the house. He also loves spending time with you during the day and is a big fan of belly rubs and chin scratches. I was working from home during this sit and he was the best work companion. Ralph is the perfect host and we felt very welcomed in his beautiful and spacious home. We were lucky enough to spend a few days with him before and after the sit and he's very kind, laidback and friendly. He was also kind enough to pick us up from the airport and take me on a walking tour of Valletta, which we really appreciated. We loved our time with Houston and he has a special place in our hearts. We miss him already and hope to get the chance to visit him again in the future!
I had a great experience looking after Slater and Poppy the gecko. Slater is the sweetest most affectionate cat ever. He loved to snuggle with me wherever I was, his purring just melted my heart. Heidi’s home is lovely, she even has a meditation room. Heidi was very sweet and quickly responded to any questions. Other than the unexpected cold front that came through Atlanta, which kept me from enjoying the beautiful outside area, I had wonderful stay at Heidi’s home and would gladly housesit for her again - warmer months of course =)
We had a wonderful time with the two cats, Sibyl and Pepper. Sibyl warmed up to us really well after two days and was seeking cuddle sessions. Pepper was very easy and friendly right from the start. The house and garden were an absolute dream, and we enjoyed the terrace on sunny days. We especially liked the nature reserve in the neighborhood, where we could watch kangaroos in the evenings. Rachel always gave us great tips about the area and was always available for questions. We would love to come back and look after them again.
I really enjoyed watching Bun and Marble for 3 weeks. It made me want an orange cat of my own. Marble is so sweet and silly. Bun has such a fun personality. Staying at Tal's place was a dream. So beautifully styled and close to many things. Tal was easy to chat with if i needed her. Her instructions were straight forward. I had the best time and hope to house sit again.
