She provided me with great directions for their care, food and meds. Her home was comfortable and well maintained. I really enjoyed walking Teddy and Max around the neighborhood. Fantastic sit!
\We had an absolutely lovely time caring for Ava, Patty, Enzo, and Maude. They were endlessly entertaining. Ava stole our hearts immediately. A reluctant walker in the winter, she gets most excited when she is back home. She loves to take your hand off of whatever you are doing, and work in a snuggle. Enzo is an opportunist, always trying to piggyback on Ava’s treats, and grazing everyone else’s food. Maude makes herself scarce until she warms up to you, and 24 year old (!) Patty should not be underestimated- in fact, we were convinced she was secretly running the world. Danette and Simon were gracious and communicative hosts. Danette helped us integrate into the fur family, and Simon let me borrow his cross country skis for a tour on Mount Royal. The home was comfortable and had great style, and the neighborhood was so fun- our first time in Montreal, but we ended up staying in such a vibrant place. A fantastic sit all the way around, would recommend 100% and we hope we can come back one day!
This was an amazing family to sit for and Bottom and Scout are adorable. I loved every minute of it. The house is also in a gorgeous area, very close to the tube and all local amenities. I totally recommend, but only if I don't get there first :-)))) Cant wait to go back THANK YOU
Texas is a beautiful soul. No other way to put it and I know Peta and Russ would agree. I was greeted with warmth and enthusiasm by both Tex and his parents. I could not have asked for anything nicer. After our visit prior to my sit, I knew it would be a wonderful time. During my sit, I had plenty of fun playing with Texas in the backyard, but when a headache hit me, I had to lay down. Tex was right there by my side, to let me know I would be okay and he was there for me. I would house there again in a heartbeat. Thank you Texas, Peta and Russ!
Beverly’s home is a retreat. I felt like I was living in an art gallery. Her home is filled with her own work as well as countless pieces she has collected and displayed. You might want to make an artist’s scavenger hunt for yourself. The covered patio and beautiful yard in the back and the front porch are both comfy spots for cats to sit on your lap, music provided by the birds. She has a private space, bed and bath, designated for the sitter on the main floor. Slept well every night, great shower! Downtown Chattanooga is a ten minute drive to (name a few) Hunter Museum, Walnut St. walking Bridge and The Ice Cream Show (vanilla frozen yogurt with dark chocolate and peanut butter shavings gently mixed in!). Just down the road from the house are Bread and Butter bakery for croissants and The Meeting Place for coffee. And a wonderful yoga class given by a friend in her home. Beverly has nurtured six affectionate cats. I spent many hours massaging and brushing and listening to purring. Hey! That’s why I was there! A dream come true. Went to bed with Amelia tucked behind my knees. Woke up with Marley on my chest. Was drooled on while Everest enjoyed much petting. Did some gardening with Mr. Weasley sitting on my feet. Watched Buddy do many calculations until he found a way out of the back fence with his little friend, Mama Kitty, in his wake. Thank you for a memorable experience.
I had a great experience sitting for Alexa. Mogul is a sweet cat with a feisty and playful personality - he loves leaping super high to catch dangly toys! The house was clean and comfortable, and the neighborhood was awesome - easy to walk everywhere (as long as you don't mind hills) and so much character. It took me a minute to figure out how to navigate all the smart home features, but Alexa was very responsive to my questions via text. I'd highly recommend this sit.

Lindsay came and stayed to look after my cat Tom. Tom is blind and has to have eye drops so not an easy sit and I was anxious about leaving him.... really didn't need to be! Lindsay sent me pictures and videos of him every day and when we got home the house was lovely and tidy, and most importantly my Tom was so happy that he didn't even sulk that we'd left him. Lindsay was phenomenal with our sausages. I haven’t seen our dogs be at ease so quickly with a new human before. They loved her from the off and we felt so safe and comfortable with her looking after them. Lindsay stayed at our house for a weekend and sent regular photos and videos. Cannot recommend highly enough and you can trust your pups are in safe hands!
Lindsay did a drop in for us, for our 2 dogs, Maggie and Murphy. We were quite nervous as this was the first time we’ve done anything like this. The communication was fantastic, both dogs absolutely loved her (one of our dogs is very nervous) and the photo/ video updates really put our mind at rest! We would definitely use Lindsay again and would 100% recommend!
Lindsay is amazing! We have just come back from a week away and we couldn't be happier 💜 Lindsay spent the week at our home looking after our fur baby's... we got picture updates every day and I felt so comfortable having Lindsay stay in our home, which is an extremely big thing for me! Debbie is a wonderful choice to look after your pets. She looks after our two cats whenever we are away and we feel relaxed and comfortable with her having access to our property. Her attentive and experienced demeanor and attitude puts our cats at ease and we always return happy knowing that the cats have had a stress free time. So much better than putting them in a cattery. Debbie long term boards my royal python while I'm at uni until I can afford to move her up to live with me. She's the best boarder I can imagine, she clearly knows a lot about reptiles, and the other animals she boards, and is fully insured. Debbie gives me regular updates on my python's activity and feeding, and is always friendly and happy to chat about her well-being! Would definitely recommend, to anyone looking for pet-sitting focused on your animals needs!

My little coco stayed with Kerry for 5 days and I cannot thank her enough for looking after him. I was super nervous leaving him with someone else as it would be his first time without me and Kerry reassured me he would be absolutely fine, she handled coco very professionally and I adored how she bonded with him straight away and gave him kisses which made me feel more relieved to leave him in her care. The area coco stayed in was so lovely , very tidy and clean, I loved how the other rabbits and guineapigs were all close by so he could make friends and made me feel more at ease he wasn’t completely on his own. Kerry is super friendly and kept me up to date with how he was getting on and sent me photos of him as knew he was missed by myself. I highly recommend Kerry and will be taking coco back now I know he is safe and well looked after. Kerry is now cocos new auntie and I’m sure he will miss Kerry’s loving. I cannot recommend this company highly enough, Jay was a life saver when I fell ill with a blood clot and couldn’t physically walk my beautiful greyhounds. They adore Jay and always get excited to see him and love their walks. Jay’s prices are the best I have come across and I will definitely be using him again. He is reliable, quick to respond and has been available to do last minute walks when I haven’t been able to. It is evident how much Jay loves dogs and it’s very clear how much they love him too.
Jay is absolutely brilliant! Our beautiful puppy Rocket gets so excited every time he knows he's on his way to see Jay. We have regular pupdates during the day, with a very happy and tired puppy when we pick him up at the end of the day. Jay is very considerate, very flexible to fit around our diary, and always greets Rocket with such a happy smile. We couldn't be happier to have found Jay, and are very pleased in the knowledge that we're leaving our precious chihuahua in safe hands with Jay. His personal service is unbeatable!
We had need to find a reliable dog Walker for my disabled client, We called JJ who came to meet the client and his dog Luna. JJ has been walking Luna for a few months now and we are really happy with the service, he always comes on time, is a very pleasant person and Luna gets so excited to see him. Do not use this Kennels! My dog stayed here for 11 days and came home with severe sickness and diarrhoea and lost over 2kg in weight. My vet had to treat him for malnutrition and severe dehydration. They never notified me of him being ill, despite me calling whilst I was away on holiday. He was admitted to the vets the morning after I collected him and he spent another 4 days on a drip and had to have 24hr surveillance as he was so ill. After reporting it to the Kennels, I got a solicitors letter in return to say that if I advise other as to my experience they will sue me! They do not care about animals and will NOT pay my excess on my vets bill or even refund me the £385 I paid for them to look after him. My dog will never be able to go into a kennel again. They pay young girls to look after up to 80 dogs per day! Do NOT risk your pet staying here! Photos are to show that my dogs ribs were showing when we got him home - this was after a week in the vets where he had put on weight! Bandage is where he had a cannula in.
Absolutely fantastic team here! They looked after our cat on a long term stay while we were in between homes and they really looked after her and did so much to support and accommodate us even at short notice with extensions. Would highly recommend!
We looked around at a few places before here was recommended to us, I went for a view and while waiting I could see behind the scenes and liked how the staff were with the dogs,The staff are really friendly and helpful nothing was to much trouble for them and they answered all my questions. Teddy went for a day stay, came out happy and exhausted, and loved it. We picked him up after a 12 night stay, and he came out happy and full of life. I will definitely be using them again and will highly recommend them to everyone. Top service

Dog was looked after okay but owners retained property and then ignored us when trying to retrieve it. Seems to be a recurring theme that they are not careful with owners property. Will revise the review if I have any update.
They did loose my 2 dogs collors, but I won't hold it against them, they looked after my 2 best friends for 2 weeks while we went on holiday, quality
Our 2 dogs stayed at Daws Heath Boarding Kennels for 8 days during our wedding and honeymoon. This was the first time they had stayed at any kennel and we were quite nervous to leave them to say the least. We were greeted by the team who were very friendly and playful with Teddy and Honey. We received many updates, photos and videos throughout their stay. They were given walks throughout everyday, given toys and affection! Ted and Honey seems to have loved their stay at Daws Heath and we will 100% be using them whenever we are away. Doggy Daycare session pending… Thank you so much to everyone that looked after our 2 kids!!

I feel quite strongly amount writing this review. I have only been using Neil, Essex Pet Services for a short while. Neil has a naturally calming demeanour which is essential for my very spirited dog. He is genuinely incredibly good with animals and provides a home from home environment. He is contactable, honest and reliable. Anyone who has spent a few minutes in Neil’s company would truly believe he only has the animals in his care at heart. Having used a previous home broader for the past 2 and a half years I was very nerves about trusting my dog with someone new, however Neil completely won my trust the moment I met him, each time I’ve used Neil my dog has return home happy, healthy and content.
Essex Pet Services have been walking and boarding my dog Micha for nearly 5 years now. Neil and the team know their stuff. She is picked up and dropped off, making life so much easier. The prices are beyond reasonable. Neil is amazing with Micha, she loves to see him, and gets so excited when she hears the van. Cannot recommend these guys highly enough. Would not trust anyone else with my fur baby. Thank you so much xx
Essex pet services are absolutely amazing!!!!! My dog Belle loves staying with Neil on her holidays & loves going out for walks with him. She gets mega excited when she sees him and it’s great piece of mind to know that our Belle is being looked after & loved whilst we are away. I wouldn’t leave my dog with anyone else! Not only are they professional but they are the most caring people I’ve ever met.

We’ve been using Neil & Maddy since 2015. Neil even brought our dogs to our wedding so we could have them in our photos on our special day. We’ve since moved to Suffolk and still use Neil for boarding when we go abroad. Our dogs love and remember Neil and always come back happy and worn out.

Ran out of stars to give! Neil is absolutely amazing with Dougie. He has had him nearly a year now and is very helpful and accommodating. Neil is a real life Doctor Doolittle! My dog is very wary around new people but she took to Neil immediately. I couldn’t be more happy with the service and the price and would highly recommend Essex Pet Services. Don’t believe everything you read in the papers either.
Excellent service. The company has looked after our Italian Spinone for over 6 months 3 days a week. Always accommodating and our dog gets a great doggy day care service with plenty of exercise and stimulation. The company posts videos and photos regularly So we can see how he is enjoying his days. Would definitely recommend.
Highly recommend these guys, our Milo loves spending time with them and any mention of uncle Neil and he goes crazy! They have looked after him since he was a crazy pup (he's still crazy) and we are so happy that we choose these guys to look after him. They had him during our 2 week honeymoon and everytime we go away. There is nobody that I would trust to have my boy while I'm away. Thanks for all you do and Milo loves you all.
Used this place for 2 years when I got a puppy as didn't want to leave her at home all day, absolutely brilliant. Jackie and Oli are so friendly and lovely, they make you and your pets feel welcomed. My girl was always happy to go here everytime because she was treated like one of theirs. If I hadn't moved halfway up the country, I would still be using them now. Safe, professional, and generally a great help to me. I would recommend to anyone.

Have been using this kennels for years for my own dogs and my daughter’s. My dog Fudge couldn’t wait to get there and we always referred to it as “her country home”. Sadly I had to say goodbye to her in April. I miss her so much but would like to thank Ashingdon Heights for taking such good care of her over the years. My daughter’s dog Sandy is a regular visitor and has just returned from a weeks stay , no problems at all. Highly recommend.

Dogs can’t wait to go & come back happy and healthy .I can not endorse enough, having grown up with my parents owning kennels. My 2 dogs seemed very happy when we picked them up. Photos were posted regularly on social media, so it was nice to see them enjoying themselves and putting your mind at rest. Getting through to them on the phone is extremely hard, but it's definitely worth persevering.
Lovely family-run kennels. It's clear to see the care of animals and the fact my dog is excited to go there says it all. Such a gem of a place and lovely people too.
These guys really messed us around. We’ve never had an issue with other kennels and our dogs vaccinations. Yet these guys waited until we turned up with our dogs to tell us that they wouldn’t take them. They called our vets who said that they were not due to be vaccinated until December (3 months away). Yet they still wouldn’t take them for insurance reasons. If they had mentioned this when we phoned to book, perhaps we would not have been left I’m the difficult situation of having to make other emergency arrangements. Terrible outfit. Avoid.

We had been really worried about going away, as one of our two dachshunds only had back surgery 10 months ago. After the way our boys have been looked after we will be recommending Ashingdon heights to everyone! Our boys came back happy, still able to bark, healthy looking and our boy that had back surgery, he came back looking better than ever! My 2 little dogs stayed with them recently. The place was lovely and clean and the staff welcoming. Thought was put into who was in the kennel next to them. They were given walks and treats and were very well looked after. I would 100% leave my dogs there again without a second thought.
We called just before the bank holiday and they were fully booked, they took our details and said they would let us know if any spaces come up and thankfully they did. Our Doberman was in for two days and loved it - she came back clean, we’ll fed and most importantly tired. They clearly love dogs and look after them very well. Will use again.
My dog is very nervous, but we felt very comfortable with him being there. We were worried about him being there with medication but the staff were very welcoming and helpful and he came out very happy.
Woodview have looked after our dogs so well this year. We have a demanding Lab and a very old Jack Russel. It makes a massive difference to us knowing in our absence they are really well cared for. Couldn't reco.end them highly enough wonderful wonderful place.

Would highly recommend K9 Capers to anyone looking for dog walking or boarding. We've been using Tim now on a regular basis for many years and he loves Maggie (our Jack Russell) like she's his own. We trust him totally to look after her daily and also for times we've been away, sometimes for a week and Maggie has always had a great time! Tim really understands the importance of each dogs needs and how they all differ. Tim himself is such a lovely guy and so personable. So anyone needing their beloved dog to be walked or looked after should definitely give K9 Capers a shout.
Tim has been walking my two huskies from the beginning of his dog caring journey. Huskies need long walks and are not good off lead. Tim has taken this on board and given his very best to my two taking them to a variety of places to keep them interested and stimulated. My two love him to bits and he does an amazing job with them. They do have minds of their own and i think Tim's arms are probably a couple of inches longer than when he started :-).
We have used Tim for 3 years now. Our Boxer Brie loves going out with him and her mates. In the wet weather Brie is a complete pain because she loves puddle jumping (much to poor Tims diamay) but she does always come home fairly clean, thanks to his portable shower! During the time Brie has been with Tim she has had problems with her cruciate ligaments, Tim has helped her through with considerate walking regimes. Needless to say he cares for your dog as if they were his own. Would highly recommend Tim if you are looking for a dog walker.
Tim has expertly managed my three fear aggressive dogs. They couldn’t be walked by just anyone due to their trust issues with humans firstly and secondly other dogs. To be able to relax 100% always knowing that your dogs, as troubled as they are, with someone who understands them, has absolute compassion but at the same time gives them confidence is priceless. We never thought we could find someone who could tick all the boxes. So to have Tim who does that and more has been liberating. Couldn’t recommend him more highly. Professional and absolutely reliable and not to mention adored by our dogs.
Over the last 3 years since walking my dogs Tim has never let me down, whether walking them, helping me out with vets appointments and having them board when i am on holiday. I know 100% that they are in safe hands. Even the 3 hours he spent with me on a Saturday afternoon looking for Neo when he went AWOL from my house!!! One call and he was there to help me out without hesitation.
Cannot recommend Tim highly enough. Our dog loves every minute of her walk.
