Meg
Meg (and Bella) were great hosts. This was my second THS experience outside of Canada and it couldn't have gone any better. As agreed, I arrived a day early and Meg gave me a tour of her lovely home and explained all.

Bella was a lively little character. She loves to play and will happily sit on your lap and curl up beside you on the bed at night. We spent many hours in the screened in room where she would stare out at all the action. Despite her curiosity and speed, she (thankfully) never showed an interest in going outside.

I also managed to find plenty of time to explore VT. I had brought my pack canoe to paddle and managed to get out on those hot sunny days. I also did some hiking and met up with friends for dinner and some live music in Burlington. So much fun!!

On all accounts I had a great experience and would love to have the opportunity to care for Bella and and Meg's beautiful home again sometime. Thanks a lot, eh. ;)

Josh and Mariah
Okay, first of all... We miss Riley! Sometimes and unexpectedly an animal you care for will steal your heart. This girl is such a card! Riley has an amazing personality. She is vocal at reunion, and it’s incredibly endearing. She is calm and loving; just a joy to be with. We rarely left the house without her (church and grocery) because she is such a fantastic companion. I teased the entire week about just taking her home with us... I would never. Riley’s people love her so completely. It was really fun for us to be her people for the time (a very rewarding sit). Josh and his lovely wife are very organized and tidy people, always a plus. Their cozy home is inviting, fun, and elegant! A neat blend. Josh was thorough and clear in his sitter guide, and we met ahead of time to make acquaintance with Riley. 😍 West Asheville is a really neat part of the world. Apply for this sit, for sure! But you’ll have to beat us to it.
