Lori and Joe were excellent! After communicating to set up the sit, we felt very confident. They were responsive to our questions about our home while away, and several times initiated communication when things came up (e.g. important mail, dry grass, etc). They left a very happy pet, and clean space. The whole experience was free of stress and we would trust them again 100%.
Christopher has watched our pets a few times and we've booked him for more. So happy to have him come back to help our little fur balls. He is communicative and reliable. Can't recommend him enough!
Well, it was a different housesit from the one we expected - through nobody's fault! Sharon and Paul welcomed us the night before they left and we were able to walk Pippin and Bede together in the water meadows behind the house. Unfortunately, all went downhill the next day when we were on our own and Storm Eunice hit the house and knocked out the electricity. But - as Trusted Housesitters there was nothing we could do about it as we knew that Bede hated kennels, and in all honesty, every day we expected the power to be put back on. But it wasn't! Sharon was in touch with us and kindly arranged for Pippin and Bede to be picked up to stay with friends. We still feel guilty about leaving and not finishing the sit, especially since it was the first time Sharon and Paul had used Trusted Housesitters. Our rating is based on what the experience should have been! The house is lovely and our room and bathroom very comfortable. Pippin and Bede quickly accepted us and were no problem. We hope Sharon and Paul don't let this experience put them off using Trusted Housesitters in the future.

First and foremost, We want to express our sincere thanks to Helen, Phil and Jack who welcomed us warmly into their beautiful home and entrusted us with their exceptional pets: Bella and Tom. We loved the location of the house; in the pristine community of Charlottenlund, which is located 25 minutes from the city center of Copenhagen. The nearest train station (Ordrup) is a short 10-minute walk. There are several supermarkets, shops, cafes and restaurants within the same walking distance. The house is spacious, beautiful, comfortable and with all the amenities for a pleasant stay. Additionally, the house is surrounded by several parks and nature walks. Our room was simply superb! A comfortable bed & pillows and with ensuite bathroom & walk-in shower. Now let me brag about the pets... Sweet Bella loved being loved and caressed and enjoyed her daily walks. Tom the parakeet was very charming and very low maintenance. We certainly enjoyed his “singing”. We enjoyed our time with Bella and Tom and more importantly it was truly a pleasure to have met Helen, Phil & Jack. We highly recommend this sit because it's terrific by all accounts. Everything about this housesit was perfect. The location was great. The internet wifi was excellent since we worked from the kitchen table, even outside on the patio, without any issues. Julie is awesome. Her instructions were very detailed and thorough. She really cares about her pets. Her pets, Daisy and Betty, are very sweet and easy-going. Betty can be a little fussy about eating. I had to move her bowl around a few times but she will eat it all. They love their walks so be ready to give them time to enjoy their sniffing moments. We will be more than glad to care for Julie's home and pets anytime.
I loved this sit! Terri’s home was clean and comfortable… and 10 minute walk to the cute downtown sugar house area. I walked to Lila yoga (highly recommend), a great cold pressed juice bar, and several great coffee shops. Idaho was a very easy and sweet dog who has a playful and spunky demeanor when she feels comfortable with you :) I’d definitely stay here again.
This was an ideal house sit! Carolyn was friendly and clear, Storm was a delight to care for, and the location in Silver Lake was quiet and perfect for long walks.
