Terra

Staying at Terra's and Andrew's comfortable, organized and convenient home in Santa Fe was a joy.  We felt welcomed there, Terra was nice and flexible about all of the arrangements that went into this stay.  
Once we were in the house, it was easy to just step outside and onto hiking trails -- without having to get into the car.  There was great light in the house, even on the snowy days.  
The two cats were adorable, warming up to us more and more every day that passed, and getting more loving and frisky each day too.  They were very easy to care for.  
We recommend this family without reservations, and if Terra ever needed us back, we'd try very hard to be there again.  Thank you for the privilege of allowing us to care for your home and your pets.

We had a wonderful time at Joe and Julie’s. We met them the day before to go through everything and to meet the lovely Ruby and Bella and they were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. It was great to meet some people that had settled in New Zealand and they had lots to tell us about the experience and we shared stories over coffee. 
The house was super comfortable and immaculate so we really appreciated it after four months in a campervan! We felt very at home and could use all their  fabulous facilities. Bella and Ruby were a pleasure to look after. Ruby loved her walks and was excellent on the lead and she would play fetch the ball until she needed a rest. We found her great fun and very comical. She loved cuddles and lots of company. Bella is an old lady who put up with us staying! She made us laugh and was so easy to look after!  
The area Julie and Joe live in has a lot to offer with beach, parks and shops very nearby. However we just stayed around the house keeping the dogs company as it was such a delight to be in a family home.
When Joe and Julie returned we had long chats and it felt that we had made some new friends in New Zealand both furry and human!  We would highly recommend this sit and would  do it again in a heartbeat.

I loved sitting for Gigi and Bibou. Gigi is really sweet and relaxed and loves to snuggle and be close to you. She has really pretty coloring and will talk to you. Bibou is more skittish but when he gets more comfortable he will lay on you and bite you! 🤣 I like to think of it as a play bite but it hurts. So if he does that just push him away or put him outside your room in timeout. But he's such a pretty gray coloring with that almond eyes you can't even be upset! 🤣Both are really easy and sweet to care for. They have an automatic feeder and get wet food once a day. Other than that everything is easy. The house is set up well and has a TV in the guest room. The house is located nearby many shopping centers and in a nice neighborhood. Liz was very kind and communicative and very flexible about when I arrived and left the sit. She is very laid back and easy to work with. I had a great time sitting here and I would definitely come back if possible! ☺️🌻

Gonzalo

Gonzalo and Daniel are lovely, generous people who were nothing but kind to us throughout our stay in their lovely home.

Their flat is warm and inviting, in an amazing location, with all the mod cons one could want.

Gizmo is so, so cute, a big bundle of love. He's highly intelligent, great to walk with and just an overall absolute delight. 

We would recommend this sit to anyone and thank you again to Gizmo, Daniel and Gonzalo!

Leia is absolutely the sweetest dog ever, she is so well behaved and gentle!! We loved being able to look after her. She does amazing on walks, and is great in the off leash area as well. She LOVES playing fetch anywhere and especially playing with her other friends in the off leash area. We ran into no problems whatsoever during our stay. The location of this sit is phenomenal, with close access to the metro train system and steps away from the amazing foods of Boston’s Chinatown. We loved our time we got to spend with Leia, and we would gladly come back anytime!!

This was a perfect end to our house-sitting journey before we moved to London! Debbie and Nigel are incredibly kind and generous people and we enjoyed every minute of our stay, including staying the night before and eating a delicious supper all together. Agnes is an absolute sweetie and incredibly easy to take care of, she even tries to walk herself when we put the lead on her! Thanks to Debbie and Nigel providing us the use of their car, we were able to drive Aggie out to plenty of walking sites and had a lot of freedom! Aggie adores the ball and will run herself silly for a good hour, so it's always a good idea to take a few with you on the walk!

The town itself, Bury St. Edmunds, is very beautiful. The Abbey Gardens are a must-see, the Abbey Gate cinema a lovely local visit and there are plenty of local cafes, pubs and shops nearby so you have absolutely everything you could need and more. The home is one of the most comfortable we have stayed in and it is styled beautifully. It was a delight waking up in the morning, saying hello to the sleepy Agnes and enjoying the sun streaming through the conservatory. It was easy to relax and get some work done in such a stunning home, with such an easy-going dog and Debbie and Nigel only a few minutes message/call away if anything went awry or we had any questions. 

We would absolutely recommend this house-sit! We would also love to sit for Debbie and Nigel again if the timings line up. We hope that future sitters will enjoy it just as much as we did, and love taking care of sweet little Aggie in the lovely town of Bury!
