Oh my goodness we have SO much to say after a brilliant few weeks looking after Odi in Sandra’s beautiful home. First of all, Sandra is such a warm and welcoming host, and we were lucky enough to meet her before she set off, for a full rundown on Odi’s needs and her home. Sandra made it clear she was only a message away if we needed anything at all, and we kept in touch during our stay to keep her updated on our various adventures. Then onto the main man, Odi. What a character! We had such a wonderful time looking after Odi. From long walks in the countryside, to many (many!) hours playing in the garden, and lots of cuddles on the sofa, he kept us SO entertained (seriously, you won’t need much TV while you’re here!) Sandra’s home is in a beautiful part of Cornwall, with so many amazing locations on her doorstep - so if you’re looking to explore this part of the country, you’ll absolutely love it. We had such a wonderful time, and can highly recommend this sit to anyone.

It’s a beautiful, well-equipped house in a lovely setting and I had a great time there. There’s one neighbour opposite, who was very friendly, but other than that it is surrounded by fields. It would definitely be easier with a car but I didn’t have one and it was manageable. It’s a 3.6 km, completely flat walk into the centre of Lampeter so I went once a week to do my shopping, and there’s also a bus service from Carmarthen to Aberystwyth via Lampeter that stops 1.4 km from the house. Like Garry says, Stripey and Splodgy are extremely timid, so they won’t be sitting on your lap and will generally run away startled whenever you move, but they are very nice, unproblematic cats and may occasionally rub against your legs. Garry was really friendly, open and helpful, and also very relaxed and flexible about dates. I actually stayed eight days beyond the dates shown here as that suited us both. I would definitely recommend this sit to anyone happy with the quiet location.
We had a lovely time looking after Timi and Pieper - they are absolute stars! Kiki and Sophie are really friendly and left clear instructions for us to follow. They were easy to contact with any queries. The flat is fab, and we really enjoyed being in Brixton.
Fantastic sit! Loved taking care of the birds and dogs. They are really lovely, playful and well behaved. Moira and Kevin are lovely people, with great sense of humour, extremely kind and easy to talk to. They really made sure I had everything I needed. All my needs have been exceeded. The house is very beautiful, cozy and it has great views. Would definitely want to come back.
Sooki & Paco are great and we really enjoyed our time with them! They have different personalities and both of them very lovable. It’s been brilliant getting to know them, Paco is full of energy and very playful, he loves saying hello to everybody and Sooki is more chilled and independent, he is a little more shy at first but lovely as well, lots of people in the street would stop and smile at them! They liked watching movies with us on the couch (and we loved having them, it would just take 1 minute to have Paco near by and chill), they enjoyed as well playing on the terrace. Communication with Benji and Shlomi was good and easy, and everything worked well. Flat was comfortable with everything we needed. Paco had to go to the vet (nothing serious) and both needed to take some medicine, but they were very good and it was no problem for us. They had the medicine without any drama and Paco was happy at the vet. We could enjoy Madrid easily from the apartment and go for walks along Madrid Rio. Locally there are lots of cafes, restaurants and of course “Matadero”. It was very easy to move around by bus or tube and if you like walking you can easily make it to the center by foot. Thank you guys for the sit : ) Missing Paco and Sooki already, hope to see them again!
