Sitting for Lisa and David was an absolute dream! They were both so warm and welcoming and had provided a heap of information to help us feel prepared. Lisa was also extremely responsive if we had any questions ahead of and during the sit. Monty and Digger are the sweetest, easiest dogs to look after. Monty is the epitome of an easy going cuddle bug. Digger had us in fits of laughter with his cheeky personality, he loves a play around the garden and to climb on your lap for chin scratches. Both were a pleasure to walk and spend time with. Lisa and David’s house and garden are gorgeous, with rolling countryside as far as you can see. It was easy to switch off and fully relax, which gave us the feeling of a lovely holiday. We’d be delighted to come and sit again in future.
We had the most wonderful sit for Mike and Leslie and are blessed to call them friends! Their instructions and descriptions were exactly as they said with no surprises. They invited us a day early which was wonderful! We had the most delicious dinner that Leslie made and were able to get to know the animals and how they operate on the daily with morning and evening routines. The cats were very self sufficient and with the exception of sweet Simon, they hung out mostly in the cat shack. The 4 pups became our buddies so quickly! Talk about love! We got watch them play and snuggle and they literally looked out for each other. They have such tenderness toward sweet Pixie who is the old gal of the bunch. Petey, Whiskey and little Charlie were so gentle and playful. We kept saying that they all have a sweet sensitivity. Their home was beautiful and so clean and orderly. This is a 5 star sit and we would go back anytime!
Eloise was super nice and the communication very easy! She explained everything in advance and had a guide as well. The pets are so cute and easy going too. We are looking forward to sit her pets again! 😊
Rudi the collie was easy to care for and very endearing. There is a wonderful woodland walk from the house which leads to a hill for ball play which is his favourite thing! He soon burns off energy so is calm and content in the kitchen or lounging on his chair in the conservatory. Rambo the cat is undemanding and self sufficient. The characterful house is close to a lovely park and town too. Good communication with the owners who were quick to respond to any queries/problems.
Robin & Chantal are excellent hosts and their hospitality was beyond our expectations, treating us to more than a few meals prior to leaving us in charge of Hugo their adorable Dog. Their lovely home is in a rural part of the eastern Cevennes and is in a fairly secluded location but close enough to town to top up on essential supplies. They set us up in their Gite prior to our actual sit and generously allowed us to stay on for several days after they returned. Hugo is exceptionally well trained and one of the sweetest natured dogs we have ever looked after, he is FULL of energy and looks forward to his long daily walks in the forest tracks around his home -- mostly off the lead. He is a very smart guy and loves to play ball and other games in his large garden. Highly recommended.

We left our older nervous pup Sophie with Kim and John for the week while we were on vacation and we couldn’t be happier. They were patient and loving and took impeccable care of her. We used a larger boarding facility in the past and the individualized attention our dog received at Good Shepherd allowed us to relax on vacation even more. Our dogs have found their new home away from home. The farm is a treat for both dogs.. and they are never bored. We receive daily pictures, messages and videos of how our dogs are spending their time. John and Kim treat both dogs like their own. On our most recent trip, one dog's ear infection returned.. and without hesitation, John and Kim took our dog to the Vet and kept us abreast of what was happening. We often take long trips out of town and its such a great feeling to know that they are safe- which of course allows us to enjoy our vacation without worries. Kim and John were warm and welcoming and our 2.5 yo 50 lb Portuguese Water Dog was quite at home. They had only one other tiny dog as well as their own affable 2 yo dog at the time our dog boarded with them in mid-June for 3 days so there was plenty of attention paid to our boy! He slept in his own bed in their house under a ceiling fan and ran outside with the others and played with John in a large grassy enclosed space (former horse corral). Kim and John were most communicative w texts and photos daily. Their place is set far back from any roads so traffic is not an issue and they are very careful not to let dogs out off leash. Our boy was fascinated by the proximity of chickens out back! They are continuing to set up their place for more pets and it may be that ultimately the dogs will sleep in a cooled/heated former garage either in crates or on their beds. This is a work in progress but one with which we were very happy. We would definitely board there again!
I'm VERY particular about who cares for my dog when I travel, and John and Kim are totally reliable, great communicators, and my dog loves them. They have a huge and safe yard for running and a sweet dog to play with, and they give my dog lots of exercise and attention. They are very professional and keep in good touch when I'm away. I've recommended them to my friends with dogs, so that says it all.
I’ve had a great experience with John. My dog, Rudy, can be a handful on walks in city neighborhoods- he has a thing against buses, bikes, scooters, etc. John was more than up for the task- he really enjoyed Rudy’s spirit which made me feel good. He was very enthusiastic and reliable. I strongly recommend him!
John and Kim are absolutely wonderful dog carers and have walked and pet sat our 3 big hyper hounds with consistent professionalism and kindness. They are reliable, trustworthy and I would look no further for people who have fondness and knowledge of dealing with multiple animals. They are able to do basically any service from pet sitting to taking our animals out on hikes as well as care for them as if they were their own and are accommodating of our schedule and needs.

We love Laney and Tide Pool Per Services. We started working with Laney doing personal at home training when our puppy was 4 months old and it has really paid off. We now have an almost one year old dog that is well behaved and responsive. We get lots of compliments from our friends and neighbors about how good our dog is and we feel confident as new dog owners. We also love sending her on pack walks. She learns a lot through this structured time with the trainers and other dogs. We recommend Tide Pool to all our friends!
We have nothing by high praise for Laney and the team at Tide Pool Services. Our dog participates in weekly pack walks, solo walks, occasional boarding, and training classes. He enjoys every minute of his time. Laney and team communicate clearly throughout the walk and go above and beyond what a typical dog walker provides including tick removal, ensuring safety in the car, and sanitizing cars after each walk. We recently completed an obedience class and look forward to participating in more classes in the future. Laney lays out expectations clearly and makes sure all dogs and handlers feel comfortable. You can tell she has experience working with all temperaments and is very patient with all of the dogs. We're so lucky to have Tide Pool in the North Shore, highly recommend their services!
my dog spackle and I took a basic obedience class with Laney at tide pool pet services. It was a wonderful experience. All the dogs were at the a similar level of training but with different strengths, and Laney was able to work with us individually to improve on training weaknesses within the group. This allowed for a nice amount of distraction while training and was helpful to see how the timing and commands and consistency could obtain results in many situations. We have taken a variety of classes during these early puppy months, and Laney’s class was by far my favorite. She was able to explain how to cue the dog and show different exercises in order to enforce the commands. I would recommend tide pool pet services for training, dogwalking, pet care, etc.

Laney is the absolute BEST! First of all she was able to find us a sitter on super short notice after our pup had emergency surgery. She was so communicative and easy to work with. We’ve also been doing pack walks and private walks with her. One of our dogs is super reactive and definitely gets the label of “bad dog” or “aggressive”. She doesn’t make us feel that way though! She’s willing to work with him where he is at. We had two sessions with Laney this week and the difference is so noticeable!!! Our dog is more calm, more responsive, and overall feels like a different dog! I cannot recommend Laney enough. It’s super easy to book with her on her website and she sends just the right amount of updates so you’re not worried while you’re away from your pup.

Tide Pool Pet Service is dependable, reliable and flexible. We have used Tide Pool a few times and we felt like they cared for our pup’s as much as we did. Billing and scheduling is also very easy. We recently lost one of our pups. Our remaining pup has never been alone and is very anxious. He relied on his older sister for comfort and company. Laney went above and beyond to make sure our remaining pup will be comfortable and well cared for on our upcoming trip. I was really so concerned that we may not be able to travel but Laney worked it out so that he will never be alone. We send our highest recommendations for anyone considering Tide Pool Pet Services. We feel so lucky to have Tide Pool Services in our lives.

Laney stayed at our house with our allergic to everything, full of big feelings dog and our very chill cat. We had no worries that our dog would get all of his needs met while he was in Laney’s care. I highly recommend Barn Dog! We’ve been sending my pup Whiskey since he was about 8 months old. The whole staff is great. We just boarded him there for the first time for 3 nights. I was so nervous to leave him but they reassured me all weekend with pictures and updates. They also offer an exit bath which is the best! He came home clean happy and exhausted!

We’ve been taking our dog to Barn Dog since she was a puppy and love it! The staff is really caring and clearly work hard to keep all the pups happy and safe. Our pup needs a lot of exercise but always come home from Barn Dog tired and happy.
I initially heard about Barn Dog Day Camp from a friend, I rescued a deaf dog about 4yrs ago. We have never boarded her due to her special needs, and I wanted to see if Barn was a good fit. She has a lot of anxiety, and given she was deaf, a lot of special attention. Peter and his staff were extremely kind and patient with my dog, I appreciate the interview process and all the steps they took. To make sure my dog would be a good fit, that she would enjoy camp, have fun and be safe. Barn dog is very knowledgeable in boarding dogs, and extremely professional. Even though it didn’t work out in our situation I would highly recommend to a friend.
The staff on evaluation day were so knowledgeable. It is very comforting to know how much they know about a dog personality. The facility is very clean. There are great activities and fun stuff for the dogs. My two dogs live it there.
My dog used to be skittish and defensive when meeting new dogs, but I could tell he wanted to make friends. Thanks to Barn Dog, and their super professional handling and thoughtful way of introducing new dogs in the mix, my pup now has a social life, lots of new friends, and new confidence out in the world. He has so much fun at this fantastic facility that now he mopes in boredom when he's at home with just me! I love Barn Dog!

My dog loves going to Barn Dog Daycamp! She gets plenty of exercise and play time with other dogs. The facility is clean and spacious with both indoor and outdoor play areas. Peter’s enthusiastic love for dogs shows in the care he provides at the Barn.

Dingos is the best doggy daycare, boarding, walking, and training! Scooby started attending last fall, and during that time, we have utilized all the services offered. The owner and staff are very in tune with dogs and their needs, cornerstoned on animal and human safety! The portal to sign up for services is easy to use, and the staff is great if you need any help! They are active on social media, so sometimes you will get a nice look into the day your pup is having. Shout out to Nancy, the owner, for her care and concern and excellent communication. Marylin, one of the bus drivers and Scooby's walker, is terrific with my dog and a pleasure to chat with during drop-offs/pick-ups. Fae was outstanding for a short little overnight boarding we needed last month. Lastly, Chelsey, their resident expert behavioral dog trainer, has been essential for our success by helping Scooby not only learn some much-needed basics but also helping us through some challenging situations. Another plus is that they offer fun "experience" add-ons for the daycare. Such as puzzle time, glam photo sessions, mini walks, and even some one-on-one fetch time!
Dingo's has been a godsend after getting our rescue pup earlier this year. The staff is truly genuine in their love for dogs, and they go above and beyond in trying to accommodate and build an environment that is safe and fun for these pups. Not only does our dog have fun, but she comes home exhausted and that gives us a much needed break from the puppy madness - double win! Owner Nancy was also super helpful in finding a unique solution for me to find a place for my pup to stay when my entire family needed to attend an out of state funeral. We had no other options and she rescued us on short notice. Beverly is lucky to have such a great business & staff available to us dog owners. Thank you Dingos!
Dingos is the best! The staff will love and care for your dog as if it is one of their own. When I first brought my dog to them, she was very nervous and frightful. They were patient and gave her extra love to make sure she felt comfortable. Now my dog cannot wait to run into the yard and play. They are always accommodating, and will even send you photos of your pup having fun throughout the day. I wouldn’t send my girl anywhere else! Penny and Nala absolutely LOVE Dingos. The staff has been nothing but warm and welcoming with our new pup. Everytime we mention “dingos” both their ears go up and they get so excited to go. We drive 30+ mins to bring our pups here but it is worth it. We feel completly comfortable and love seeing the picture updates throughout the day on Instagram. We highly highly recommend Dingos! ❤️

Every dog sitter who has watched our dog CJ has been awesome, but Fae deserves special recognition for outstanding care last week. We were dealing with the challenges of welcoming a new baby, and Fae and her family went above and beyond to ensure our dog CJ received the love and attention she needed during this busy time. Her dedication and genuine affection for animals truly shone through, and we couldn't be more grateful. She also sends the best updates! We also love sending our pup to daycare because we know she's having a great time with their skilled and attentive staff. Our dog Ralph has been going to Dingos for almost a year and I could not have more great things to say about them. They are so attentive to him and keep a close eye on any medical or behavioral concerns we may have. They are so flexible and helpful to fit him in when we need them too. They keep our minds at total ease knowing that Ralph is being treated so well when drop him off each time. I absolutely love how often they post on social media so we know what the dogs are up to throughout the day!
Dingo's has been a wonderful experience for our dog Raz! Each and every staff we have ever interacted with has been extremely kind and professional. Raz is very timid and anxious, but she has slowly been getting more comfortable in going each week. The administrative staff is also excellent in answering questions around their services and billing.
