Ignas stayed at my apartment for 5 days with my cat, Lou. He was very communicative, asked questions when he needed something, and left the apartment very clean. I wouldn't hesitate to have him back. Thanks Ignas!
We looked after Joey for six days. Joey is a very cute and well-behaved dog in the house. He is very well-behaved when feeding and once he has gained confidence he is very calm and sleeps a lot. He only barks when he wants to protect the house and garden or to play. He is very careful and well-behaved when playing in the garden. He is super cute and we immediately fell in love with him. What is important is that even though Joey looks so cute, he's not a cuddly dog. He only wants to be petted if he demands it. He comes to you and bumps his head into your hand. Then you can gently stroke his head and sometimes he will move further so that you can also scratch his back. As soon as he has had enough, he leaves again. It is very important to respect that and definitely not touch him unless he asks for it himself. Especially when he's resting, he should be able to rely on you to leave him alone. Joey is very energetic when he goes for a walk. He pulls on the leash a lot and if he doesn't want to go in the same direction as you, he just lies down. It takes a lot of strength and patience to take him for a walk. You should avoid other dogs if possible because Joey can react aggressively. He sometimes wants to chase cats or birds and even if a person is scary to him, he is very reactive. He is a large and powerful dog and it requires physical strength to keep him with you in difficult situations. As soon as the situation is over, he immediately calms down. It is also nice to run/romp around with him on leash, he took part in it happily and was much more relaxed afterwards, even in difficult situations. I myself weigh 50kg but am a well trained and strong woman and have always been very attentive to cope with Joey's strength. We went on a walk with him four times a day for about one hour. Shishir and Shruti are very warm and welcoming and explained to us everything we needed to know to take good care of Joey and have a great time in Hoofddorp and the surrounding area. The house is very comfortable and cozy. In Hoofddorp there are numerous supermarkets, a nice shopping mall to stroll around and cities like Haarlem, Amsterdam, ... and the sea are not far away. We went on trips around the area or exercise in the morning and afternoon when Joey took a nap. There is a nice bouldering gym and an Asian market with great fruit and vegetables in the neighborhood. We had a great time with Joey! We recommend the sit if you are willing to get involved in Joey's daily routine and his needs and have physical strength, self-confidence and patience.
We had a great time pet sitting for Hannah and Scott! Mac was an absolute gem. Though he's a big boy, he's extremely friendly and gentle. It only really took a day or two for him to really warm up to us. After that, we all spent most of our time together lounging around the living room and hanging out. He loves to go on walks, and we had no problems the entire time! Hannah and Scott were very clear and concise with their welcome guide, for both the house, and Mac. They were also nice enough to leave us some welcome drinks, which was sweet of them! Communication was also smooth, as was meet-up and leaving. Hannah picked us up from our hotel and luggage and drove us to their place, which made things quite easy. It was our first ever Trusted Housesitters sit, and it was a good one. Highly recommend taking care of Mac, if you have the opportunity.
Thank you so much Laurie and Richard! Our stay has been more than pleased. Watson became our best mate during our days in Paris and we could not have a better friend than him. Watson is a very nice cat, he is friendly and behaves so gently. He asks for water and food and finds his way in bed or with us in the couch trying not to bother us, just to cute to be true. He got used to us real quick and even tough he missed his parents so much the first days he really made us feel at home cuddling and been near at all times. Laurie and Richard have an amazing home, super well located near many touristic places in Paris and like 5 minutes aways from Parc Des Buttes which is one of the most beautiful parks we have visited. They are super clean and friendly, they even had a surprise for us when we arrived at their home making us feel more than welcome. Both we communicating all time and helping us with any questions we had, they made it so easy. We will forever miss our baby Watson, we will definitely recommend them as host and sitting Watson. Please give him love and cuddles from us (:
Taking care of Dante was a beautiful experience. Upon arrival, Santiago, Anabela, and Ema gave me a warm welcome, awaited me with a welcome gift, and treated me to lunch. They were very clear with instructions for taking care of Dante and the house. Dante, in turn, is very clear about his needs and desires. He loves spending time on the balcony watching birds and seeks cuddles when he desires it. We had some great days together. The house is super comfortable, in a quiet neighborhood, ideal for escaping the city noise. I hope we meet again! Thanks for choosing me as a petsitter.
It was a great opportunity to live in Amsterdam for almost 4 weeks. We felt like locals by the end. Sara and Phil made us feel very welcome and we enjoyed the opportunity to tend their garden as well as the daily routine for the cats. Their home is a short walk from the local train station and the local shops. Plus you have a larger shopping area and stadium about 15 minutes away. We enjoyed many walks around the area even walking into the city centre several times. You learn and see so much more about a place on foot. Plus we love to walk or ride. The cats, Luna and Leia were an interesting pair and loved playing together and seeking attention on their terms. Their routine was easy and they were happy to let us sleep in. I think the hot weather took its toll on them and we all had late nights. Thank You Sara and Phil for your trust and allowing us to care for your pets and home. Take care
Rajinder was so accommodating and helpful. Her house was so homey and I felt so comfortable. Cattus and Shadow were just the best to look after! They were up for all the cuddles and I had the best time! Thanks so much Rajinder! I would definitely come back to look after your babies 🥰
