I cannot express enough how grateful I am for this sit with Laura and Patrick. While I hope there’ll be more sits that are wonderful and just as rewarding, taking care of Gonzo, Ziggy, and the house for Laura and Patrick will always be my favorite because it was my first good TH experience. From the first phone conversation, Laura already restored hope in my relationship with TH as a sitter for her attitude is the very premise of what they intended it to be – a respect of mutual needs assisting each other. Unlike previous sits, I felt genuine respect and appreciation from both Laura and Patrick. Laura’s communication was perfect as it was clear and I was never left questioning or uncomfortable. There was a spot-on “Welcome” write up, they shared their garden bounty, and they have a great sense of humor. : ) Laura and Patrick further overwhelmed me with their understanding and generosity in allowing me to stay on a few days. I could go on and on – not only were Laura and Patrick just truly wonderful hosts who made me feel welcome, I genuinely like them as people and do hope to see them again! Now for the love bugs Gonzo and Ziggy! Laura knows her girls very well, and they both made me laugh. I enjoyed Ziggy’s antics of zoomies and mice chasing, while Gonzo and I had our quiet chill together. Within days, I won over some nice moments of affection from both of them – in the evening and with Ziggy’s alarm clock hellos. : )
Don’t know where to start. Tracy is an amazing host and instantly made us feel at home. We felt as if we’d known her and her friends forever and we left more as family than house sitters! We were shown around the area with pointers on the best shopping, eating and dog walking spots! And the wine, who could ask for more than a house sit with one foot in Burgundy and the other in Champagne. And speaking of dogs, we could not have asked for better. Bailey is the best snuggle buddy, happy to fill an empty lap and Bella, she is the queen and pretty much runs the show. They walked us around the entire village making sure to introduce all the dogs and the occasional cat! The house is beautiful, the village is tranquil and the people are amazing! I would give 10 stars if possible ⭐️ We will definitely return!!!
Fab Faversham ! Sabrina let me arrive the night before which helped my plans & gave us a good handover period with a lovely chicken dinner to boot. Lovely house in the Kent countryside & 2 great cats Julius & Caesar made it a most enjoyable & relaxing sit. I thoroughly recommend this sit. Thank you Sabrina & David.
My family and I loved our house sit with Mango and Coconut at Lisa’s home! Mango and Coconut had such fun personalities and were a joy to be around. They especially did great with our girls as they all played so much. Lisa’s home was beautiful and came with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. There is also so much to do in the area. Highly recommend!
I couldn't have been luckier than to have had Jenna and Kate choose me to look after the most amazing Dot and Greta! These two little ones made my stay unforgettable with their cuteness and world class cuddles! Jenna and Kate are absolutely amazing and welcomed me so warmly into their home. It was all really above and beyond - such a beautiful space and location. I would go back without question - if you have the opportunity don't pass it up!! Thank you again, so much, ladies! xx
Iznik is a historic town with several places to visit. By bus from Istanbul, it takes us around 4 hours. The cost of living in Iznik is quite affordable compared to Istanbul. Fusun's house is about a 25-minute walk to the center of Iznik and about 10 minutes from the bus station. If you take this trust during the summer season, you should know that you cannot leave the house unattended. There will be daily tasks as the vegetables and greenhouse require manual watering up to twice a day. Having training or extensive experience in gardening will be beneficial for this trust. During our stay, the task of manually weeding was hard and took us at least 1 hour of work on weekdays. This is a trust for you to go with a partner or family. It is definitely a great place to enjoy nature.
