I had such a great time at Tina's! The house is really beautiful, surrounded by countryside with amazing views out of all the windows, but still only 10 minutes into Canterbury... the pictures don't do it enough justice. Meadow is such a sweet dog too, she's very affectionate and the chickens are hilarious! They filled up the fridge for me too, which is something I've never experienced at a sit before and was a really nice touch, they gave me all the instructions I needed and contact numbers just in case. Canterbury is well worth the visit too, it's a beautiful city with lots to see and do. I look forward to hopefully going back again- I really enjoyed it! :) Thanks again Tina xx
The star of this sit was Kuma, the super cool, chill cat! He's very easy going, friendly & sweet. He'd often want outside to stroll around the lovely, large yard. He really enjoyed it when we joined him! He'd never be gone long & was within treat shaking distance of coming back. The location of the home is brilliant; walking distance to Lynn Canyon Park or a short drive to a number of great spots within North & West Van. Lovely area to spend a few days! We communicated well with Chris before the sit, but as a busy guy with a young family, he forgot to email written instructions or complete the Welcome Guide before we arrived. Luckily I had written down a few key things during our quick chat and we figured the rest out on our own. As a teacher, I think he'll understand my slight demerit for this, and I know he'll get that guide or instructions ready for the next sitters :).
