We highly recommend Heather as a house/pet sitter. She arrived the night before so we could show her everything. She communicated regularly with us and sent photos, which we love getting. She took the dogs for walks and took excellent care of them. We arrived home to a clean house and very happy dogs. We look forward to the next time Heather can come sit again.

I had an unforgettable time here with Abby. Abby is a lovely and calm dog (inside). She has a lot of energy when outside. The house is so beautiful, spacious and there's a lot of light. The view from the house is amazing. Tina is the most friendly and hospitable person. She had make sure everything went smooth from arrival untill departure. You can hike for days in the nearby mountains and forests. It's so beautiful if you're a naturelover!
What a peaceful location with an absolute delight of a dog! The house is spacious and comfortable with plenty to keep you entertained if the weather isn't great. There are lovely outdoor seating areas and beautiful views and although its remote there are a couple of neighbouring properties and so you don't feel totally isolated - such a relaxing place. Woody the dog is an absolute heart stealer! What a joy to hang around with - he is happy, friendly and affectionate and loves to play as well as cuddle. He has free run at the house as he has a dog flap which he happily uses and often pops out for a bit to see the neighbours and their dogs! He loves going for a walk with you or on a trip and happily jumps in the car to go with you - tail washing g the whole time! There are plenty of nearby walks and a little bit away you have Kielder Forest Park with many walking trails and a beautiful reservoir. Nearest bigger town is probably Hawick which is about a 40 min drive away and the local town Newcastleton (5 -10 mins drive) has a couple of small grocery stores and a couple of pubs etc. All in all a lovely sit with an unforgettable adorable pooch - James was welcoming and happy to be contacted with any questions etc and Woody is a joy and we miss his little waggling tail already! Definitely a relaxing and enjoyable sit.
