We moved up to Cheshire last year along with our boarder collie. We have been a bit worried about putting him in kennels again because when we lived in Kent we had a bad experience with one and he refused to back. We have used the kennels now a couple of times and it seemed really nice. This time we used them woody confirmed it. Because as soon as we got there he couldn't wait to get out of the car and get in there. We will definitely use the kennels every time we go away. Lovely friendly owners. Thanks for looking after woody again.
In my humble opinion, the best kennels around. Ran by a lovely couple who really look after our dog. Excellent.
Great people my dog always comes home happy used 5 times this year excellent . Liz James
Great service and great care given. One of our cats had a medical emergency and was swiftly taken to the vets, and they kept an extra eye on our other cat as it was her first time on her own.
I made an initial enquiry which I got a response to which was vague in the sense I gave the dates of drop off and collection and was told the figure was an approximate, no explanation as to why it would change or what could influence a change which seemed strange. I replied to this email, never got a response, after a week I resent the email, didn't get a response, finally phoned and spoke with a woman who insisted on telling me she was too busy to answer emails as was working and what worked for her, my response was to maybe remove the email address from the website, she preferred to run the business via the phone apparently which is fine but then this needs to be reflected on their website. Didn't understand when I said I run a busy diary and prefer email, it was all just an inconvenience listening to her drone on about how busy she is. I resent the email a third time as she was trying to find it, seemed a bit overwhelmed by technology. The woman I spoke with continued to tell me how busy she was and what she had time for and what she didn't as if I was interested to hear her opinion, my objective was to book my dog into a kennel, she came across a bit confused and overworked. The same woman was oblivious of her manner and how she was coming across, maybe it's an age thing but from a business point of view she is the wrong person to answer the phone. In the end I terminated the call and feedback I thought her attitude was pretty poor, for an older person one should know better and have better manners. Seems like a strange way to run a business, all sounded a bit chaotic to me, I came to the conclusion speaking with this person I didn't want my dog in what sounded like a chaotic toxic environment and very different to what is advertised on the website all based on the conversation and tone the woman used. If that's the environment you want to place your dog in you're at the right place, if not based on my experience I would avoid.
Can't say much besides I took my dog one day early and still have to pay for it. Furthermore the dog was sick with diarrhea for 2 days, had to take her to the vet. Unsure if we will use them again
We’ve taken our cat Sunday to Lawton Valley cattery twice now and everytime she is loved and well looked after! Always returns home super chilled and happy. Would highly recommend :)
Our 11 year old dog Max just spent his first ever night in kennels at Lawton Valley, he trotted off without a backward glance to us and was just as happy and relaxed when we picked him back up. We will be using again in the future.
Excellent service we had to kennel our greyhound at short notice due to a family emergency and Beverley and Peter took him in without hesitation. They collected him due to us being out if the area which is going above and beyond and we cant thank them enough. We collected our greyhound 3 weeks later and the Kennels themselves are very clean and well run with a mixture of different animals. The animals themselves are well treated and excercised. It is an easy place to find and well signposted. We would highly recommend.
My cat was taken good care of while we were away, and was her normal, healthy self when we collected her. I was able to put her in the pen and collect her from it, so I was confident that she was kept in a safe space. The price was reasonable.
