We really enjoyed looking after Mabel and Percy. Shane was the perfect host. The evening we arrived she had supper all set up for us, she gave us great tips about places to visit as well. It was definitely good to have a rental car so you can branch out and visit the Cotswolds during the day. Mabel is a sweetheart, loves a walk, a pat and some time on the lounge in the evening with you. Percy loves to snuggle in for a pat during the day as well. We miss them already. Shane’s house is very lovely and comfortable and the views from there are stunning. We’d highly recommend this sit.
We had such a fabulous week looking after gorgeous Myrtle who is such a fun, loving and sweet puppy. Tom and Lucy are such kind and warm people who made us feel really welcome straight away. They stayed in really great contact whilst they were away and seemed to appreciate all our photos of Myrtle lol! Their house is such a beautiful place right in the new forest and was perfect for the Christmas period. We had everything we needed. Very difficult to leave so would definitely recommend!
Staying at Asia & Gennaro, with the adorable Nala & Nini 😸😸 was an absolute pleasure! From the moment I arrived, the kitties welcomed me with open paws, and in the morning alone with them their friendliness instantly made me feel at home. Nini, the opinionated young lady, quickly became my little companion. while Nala, the affectionate yet independent girl, gracefully tolerated her temporary wardrobe changes. She had a scratch earlier and was still wearing a collar or recovery suit for the first days. She fully warmed up to me later on when feeling better. Asia and Gennaro are laidback but responsible hosts. Everything was clear from the get go. I was delighted to discover that we share a common lifestyle choice as vegans. Their thoughtful gesture of picking me up from the train station made my arrival easy. And their home is really comfortable with a private garden and the walk to the store along the canal is pretty too🤗 Overall, my experience with this lovely couple and their cool cats was easygoing. What a welcoming and enjoyable cat sitting experience nearby Amsterdam!
What a wonderful week I had with little Baby (nick-named her “Marshmellow”), Prince (nick-named HIM “Caramel”) and Bella! First-off, their owners, Lee Ann and Curt, could not have been any nicer ... I stayed with them the night before they left on their trip, so we had plenty of time to chat and get acquainted. They have created a warm and lovely home, decorated with art, beautiful family photos, and inspirational quotes. The guest room was equally homey, with a bed that is like sleeping on a cloud, plenty of hooks for hanging clothes, and is close by to where the pups sleep, so when Prince, the older one, needs to go out in the morning, you can hear him. (They both were very quiet throughout the entire nights.) Baby is literally that - loves to be held, and cuddled. She has several tiny beds throughout the house which she nestles into - adorable! Prince is the sweetest pup, too. Slightly bigger than his sister, and hard of hearing, he looks up at you looking for a scratch on his back or behind his ears (his coat is amazing), or a treat. In the evenings he likes to cuddle, too, or just lay on the floor by your feet. Both pups have easy routines and are a pleasure to watch after. Bella, the cat, a rescue, kept mostly to herself, but liked coming around for a quick little pat once in a while. Their home is in a very accessible area - and I was able to take advantage of some local bike trails, a bit of sight-seeing, and walks around the neighborhood. In the evening, it was so great to sit in the rockers on the front patio and watch the sun set, while the local songbirds took the last of their fill from the feeders scattered around the yard. There is also a wonderful fire pit on the back patio! I’d highly recommend this sit for others and would return in a heartbeat. Lee Ann and Curt are really good people - the kind that make it a joy to connect in this unique way that Trusted Housesitters allows us all!

We boarded our two year old rescue pup while we went to Vegas. The beginning was rough for our doggy because she was in a new environment and has anxiety. Namrata worked with her tirelessly, and after the first night, she was doing so much better. Namrata sent us updates, pictures and videos and set our minds at ease. This is the first time we’d used a boarding service and we will be returning whenever we need puppy care. Her rates are reasonable and the dogs have free access to the backyard as well as regular walks. We are very happy customers.

Namrata has taken care of Millie (my 3 year old doodle) for both dog day care and dog boarding. I have been dropping Millie off with her and her family since September 2023. We have been very pleased with Happy Pets. She is very organized, and quick to answer by text for bookings, pick up time, etc. She will forward pictures to you during the time you are away from your dog if you request, and our small dog, Lola has always seen very well cared for. Lola can be temperamental, and whiny, and may not be the easiest dog to take care of, but Happy Pets has always done a great job of providing great care for Lola and understanding she is who she is.
Namrata did a great job boarding our 5.5 year old Jindo. She sent pictures and updates every day, making us feel comfortable being away from our pup. We would happily board our dog with Namrata again :)
Happy pets dog boarding is amazing!! They take the best care of my dog - lots of attention and walks and love. Namrata and her family took such great care of my dog Allie for one month. My initial plans for a dog sitter unexpectedly fell through, but on very short notice (just a few days) I was able to find Namrata who thankfully was able to take care of Allie for the whole month. I received photos and video and it was clear that Namrata, her family and her dog Albus were bonding with Allie and that she was very well taken care of. Jeremy managed to get us set up with a great dog walker at very short notice. We are working with Eric--he's gregarious and clearly into dogs and his job. I’m so glad to have found trustworthy, honest, friendly & truly caring walkers to take care of Ned. As a first-time rescue owner, Ned was adopted and lived with two other dogs for two years. I recently moved to the area on my own with this sweet dog and as an anxious dog parent, I do worry about him without his dog mates. Dave is amazing with Ned and goes beyond his dog walking service. Once on a very hot day in Oakland, Dave ensured Ned did not overheat and turned on the fan for him. Including checking on his water bowl. This was not our first dog walker - I had a few before who did not have the same level of professionalism and general care for my Ned. I am so grateful for Jeremy and Dave.

Molly and her team at Doggy Lama are the best! Our dog Toby always returns from his off-leash walks with Jordan having had lots of fun with his pack buds and tuckered out. It’s been a huge relief to know Toby is getting the exercise and stimulation he needs, especially during the work week when we can’t provide that for him to this level. This team is also amazing at communication, from day-of logistics to general awareness of seasonal considerations on the trail.

Everyone at Doggy Lama has been so good to my pup, Rosie, since I adopted her over a year ago. Kasper and I we both LOVE Doggy Lama; obviously for different reasons - Kasper loves the walks, treats and keeping his brain working while practicing recall on every walk. I love it that the Doggy Lama team is super reliable and feels like extended family. After I broke my foot they were able to immediately schedule Kasper for walks every day so I was able to rest. This place is often noticeably and consistently clean and organized. It also appears they have recently made the place more secure. The staff is always nice and hospitable. I love that they offer grooming services and a host of other services and enrichment program for the dogs. They appear to offer great care to my mother's dog, Sheba. Grooming is much more reasonably priced than other places and they do a good quick job. While the location is a bit remote and not much foliage or infrastructure surrounding the area, the positives outweigh the negatives.
We love taking Ollie here. They are nice and friendly. Ollie is very social and loves to play with other dogs. Just recently we are taking Bella, another dog who is shy. Leslie was sitting with her and letting her come to her on her terms which helped her feel comfortable. The staff is very patient with her.
I have used them for boarding my dog Patrón. The staff has always been friendly and I can tell they care for the dogs. I always leave him knowing he is in good hands. Definitely recommend!

My dog LOSES HER MIND in excitement when she realizes where we're going! The loving and attentive staff are by far her favorite people on the planet, I'm definitely second to them on her list of favorites 😂 We love to come for a play day or an overnight if I'm going out of town, and I never have to worry that my pups are bored, lonely, or not being loved!
I have a very well behaved service dog with all vaccinations who has been to many doggie daycares without any incident and she wouldn't even consider my dog. living next to a amusement park you think you'd be more open people from out of the area she was very rude on the phone And almost stated that she wasn't going to take the dog at that point but told me I could fill out the paperwork. I did as she asked I faxed over all the paperwork vaccines and registered service dog tags I knew even before I started filling the paperwork she wasn't even going to consider us these aren't people that are doing it for the dogs
Very friendly staff and my dogs love going to camp. They divide the dogs into groups based on size and the have their own play yard. I like the fact the dogs are free to sleep anywhere they like and not stuck in a kennel until play time. I feel safe leaving my fur babies and they enjoy the play time.
We've been talking our 80-pound German Shepherd/Greyhound mix here for about eight months now. She always comes home tired and happy, it's always clean, and the staff is friendly. We always feel really comfortable boarding her overnight.
We appreciate boarding our Tucker at Arrdvarks because we know he is safe and will be fine when we pick him up. It is the best scenario for our situation. We aren't confident with a live in dog sitter so we will be staying with Aardvarks for our fur baby.

What would we do without Travelers Pet Care!! My girlfriend and I have a10 year old dog with separation anxiety and a chronic illness that requires regular medication. Marisa and Dominique have been top notch in their professionalism and communication, able to accommodate giving his medications. They give us the peace of mind to be able to leave town. Their website/app allows for quick communication and storage of all of the great photos that they take. Attached is one of the great photos they took of Ranger... Like how did they get him to pose like that!!! One of the true gems of the East Bay!
Marisa is reliable and professional. As a new dog owner, I had a lot of nerves. I never have any doubts when my dog is in the care of Marisa’s team. The best part, my dog is IN LOVE with her dog Walker and can’t wait to leave me and go on her walk!!!
We contracted with Travelers Pet Care to administer our sick cat's complex schedule of medications while we were out of town for over a week. Our cat has lymphoma and is on a variety of medicines (some injected, some in pill form as well as subcutaneous fluids) with varying frequency (some daily, some every other day, some three days a week.) We were very anxious about leaving our cat Posey, particularly when she needed care from someone who knew how to administer her medications. We needn't have worried! Dominique came over in advance to go over the spreadsheet of medications we had prepared and to get to know Posey in advance. We scheduled extra time during the first few visits so that they would have more time to bond. We also met with Marisa just before we left and developed equal confidence in her. While we were gone, we would receive daily updates on how things were going with Posey along with a picture so we could gauge her condition for ourselves. We could see that during the course of the week, Posey became more and more comfortable with them and more affectionate. On days when Posey didn't need much in the way of medication, they would stay and give her company for the remaining amount of time scheduled for the visit. When we returned home, it was immediately evident that Posey had benefited from their care. She wasn't anxious about our absence (though happy to see us) and even seems to have gained a little bit of weight. Her comfort level was high because there was no interruption in her medical regimen. I cannot recommend Travelers Pet Care more highly, particularly if you have a pet with special needs. Their fees are very reasonable relative to the care our pet received and the peace of mind they afforded us made it possible to leave Posey in their care in confidence. We are so grateful to them! I highly recommend their services and we will most definitely use them again.
Dominique and Marisa were instrumental in guiding us as first time dog owners. Our “pandemic puppy" was able to socialize and learn to walk off the leash with them. Our dog looks forward to every time they come by to pick him up. We are lucky to have this 5-star service in the East Bay.
I have never had such experience with a pet sitter as professional, thorough, reliable and most importantly as caring the way Marissa and Dominique are. From the meet and greet, they made me feel confident to hire them. The way they would ask questions about your pet making sure their needs are met. They would give me updates everyday on what's going on and and how my pup is doing which gave me peace of mind. I enjoyed my vacation not worrying about what is going on with my dog. Marisa has been the cat sitter for my fur babies since May this year. I'm grateful to have found her and Travelers Pet Care. She has been very reliable and she takes good care of my fur babies. There was one time that my senior cat was really sick while I had to leave out of country. We brought our 1yr old pup for his first grooming, Jennifer made it very easy to communicate through appt scheduling and was extremely welcoming. She answered questions and concerns and made us feel at ease. We felt obi was in good hands. We brought Obi with long hair that was matted from ears to his paws, long nails. We picked him up, which he looked like a whole transformation. Clean cut and looking handsome as ever! We’re definitely coming back!
Took my five month old puppy to Miss Jennifer she did a wonderful job. Look at his picture I had to post it. I will recommend her to anybody else that needs their pet groom. This is his first time going to the grooming, my husband and I usually base him, so now we found a favorite spot to take him. He loves her as well Mr. swag my dogs name.

Jennifer made me feel at eases leaving my best friend Mr.Coal .To get a well needed bath and blow dry. When I call to make appointment I was lucky enough that she was able to fit me in that day. About 45min or so she call to let me know he was done. When I pulled up to the gate. It rolled back and Jennifer and her little helper I want say about 3 or 4 year old son was walk Mr.Coal out. Boy did he look so handsome his coat look so shiny and black as night. To the touch soft clean. His smell make you want to hug and take big woof of air through your nose. Jennifer and Zach offer a fantastic service for pups at their home. The value for the boarding service is very good and my dog has a great time. He can be skittish and nervous at first but their family has been so understanding and patient, now he wants to stay when I pick him up from boarding. They understand and love all kinds of dogs here and their love of animals shines through. Their own dog and kids are so cute and help with the business by adding playful energy to the home. The baths offered left our dog as clean as ever. Jennifer is very responsive over text as well. I would recommend Barn Find to anyone.
Jennifer & her husband are great. Whenever we need to board our dog, we go to them. He's happy whenever he gets there & always makes new friends. I highly recommend.
Jennifer was great with my two dogs. Before booking, she asked questions to make sure she understood what I wanted and she was very clear about her services. I felt confident that my babies were in good hands before I even dropped them off. They loved her instantly when they met her. She paid attention to their needs and even used an oatmeal shampoo for added moisture. My dogs were clean, cute and happy after she groomed them. I will certainly take my fur babies back to Jennifer for their grooming needs. She was so great with them that I will also consider her boarding services in the future.

Pam has taken excellent care of our two kittens/cats over the past two years. Pam and her team are very personable and attentive, and they clearly love their visitors. The accomodations are clean and comfortable, well-lit, and the windows have great views of trees, bird feeders, and more. Pam sends regular updates and pictures, and is happy to answer any question. Our cats have always come home comfortable and relaxed; obviously well taken care of. We highly recommend Pam and Critter Pet Care for all boarding needs!
🐾 I highly recommend Critter Pet Care. My cat has special needs and they treated him like a 🤴. They knew I was anxious about leaving him and kept me updated daily and even sent pictures. The little 🐈 house has AC and is set up very nicely specifically for kitties.😻 The owner is easy to work with and very accommodating. They take care of 🐕 as well.
I am so happy I found Pam! I met her when I was moving and also going on a trip, meaning maximum cat-life interruption and I was super stressed about how it would all go. She was totally communicative and reassuring while I was away, sending pictures of obviously-happy cats. She has also helped with vet visits and advice. It is so great to work with someone who cares about your animals as much as you do (and knows so much more). My only reservation is about spreading the word so that she might be hard to book! But she deserves recognition for providing such an outstanding and important service.
We had been planning a trip of a lifetime - 7 weeks abroad - and one of the most important things was also one of the hardest things to do and that was to ensure our 1-year old sibling cats, Daisy & Spunky, would be in a secure and caring environment while we were away from home. We found there are many places that board cats in “2’Wx2D’x2H’” stainless steel kennels with 1 or possibly 2 hours of daily “out of the kennel” play time. Although they may be clean and secure, that type of a “confined” environment would have been difficult for our cats to endure even if just for a weekend (especially for Spunky who is very sociable and inquisitive); 7 weeks would have been grueling for them. They would probably be wondering, “what did we do to be abandoned like this?”. Thank goodness we found Pam & Critter Pet Care! The design of the cat house is wonderful and the size and multi-level layout of the kennels, some of which could also be expanded to double wide for bonded pairs like ours, allows cats to “hunker in” and feel secluded, or to peek out through their window for watching birds at the bird feeders outdoors. Cats also get to explore and commingle or just chill in the common areas, or they can trek/jump up to the many perches mounted high along the walls of the cat house. We missed our cats to pieces but really appreciated how Pam automatically kept us updated with photos and info about what they were doing throughout our 7-week trip. It gave us great peace of mind and our reunion confirmed how well they were cared for during their stay. We will not hesitate to leave our beloved Daisy and Spunky in Pam’s care the next time we plan a vacation or require boarding services. Thank you very much, Pam, for providing such an important service, a cozy and engaging boarding environment, and for truly caring about the well-being of our pets. . . you’re the best!
I cannot recommend Pam highly enough for anyone with a pet. I hated to leave my old dog, recovering from an illness, with anyone, but she had come recommended for her transparency. Pam went above and beyond making my dog comfortable and cared for when I had to leave town. When i found I couldn’t get home when I had hoped, she made it work to keep watching him even though his care needs were more than we expected. She let me know how he was doing every day, and was incredibly kind. Pam will always be my first choice for someone to care for my pet.
Critter Pet Care takes excellent care to set an environment that allows the cats to feel at home and loved and for cat parents to feel completely at ease for their care. Pam and her staff are absolutely intuitive in their care for pets. She's personally taught me so much about cat behavior and how to be a better cat companion as a newer pet parent. Pam is very professional and knows how to handle both cats and dogs. I had left my two cats with her for a day. She has a very good set up where our cats could feel at home. The cages were set up in such a way that the cats could also look outside at the world or lie in a secluded spot if they wanted. There was even a bird feeder right outside the window, to keep the cats entertained. I definitely recommend her place if you want your cats taken care of while you are on vacation.
Pam is incredible! My rescue pup was isolated for many years and after only a few weeks at daycare, he was much more sociable and calm. He has separation anxiety and has a really hard time being alone, so Pam has been a godsend since I found her about a year ago. She takes really good care of my pup and updates me with pictures and status, which is nice while I'm at work. She is super flexible with drop off/pick up times and always responsive. It's amazing how she is able to socialize dogs with cats, dogs with each others, etc. Also, the backyard is amazing! Huge and lots of room for dogs to play. My pup can't wait to get out there and run around:) Highly recommend Critter Pet Care, Pam is truly a lifesaver.
Pam is a great person, she is extremely responsive, caring and knowledgeable. This place inspires trust! We lodged our dog and cat during one week and they both had a very good time under their care. Pam took me home with my pets the day we checked out because there were no Uber or Lyft drivers available. It was so sweet and kind of her! I would highly recommend this place for cats and dogs. Expect questions about your pet’s health, behavior and a meeting session for dogs.
Pam at Critter Pet Care has been doing a great job for myself and my furry family members. We like to call her Auntie Pam, and she is like a second mother to my young kitties. Along with all of the regular responsibilities of taking care of food, water and litter cleaning, Pam also plays regularly with them (has even bought them some really fun toys and treats), brushes them, and also sends me photos and regular updates when I'm away. She is also willing to water my outdoor patio plants and she brings in the mail. I can be easy in my mind knowing that all will be well at home when I have to be away. Booking and communication has always been easy. I really like using her online portal where I can book and confirm upcoming visits. Finally, when I have last minute changes to my schedule and need to add or cancel visits, she is always willing to accommodate. We are so lucky to have found her and truly appreciate her wonderful care and service!
