It was a pleasure to be a house sitter for Lauren. She left a great welcome guide with all of the information I needed and recommendations for great spots around. The communication was excellent, I got clear instructions before and when I arrived and I immediately felt at home. Ophelia, Werner and Anna are extremely friendly from the first moment. With them, there was no boring time and they made sure that I felt welcome. It was fantastic to spend Christmas with them! Friendly and warm host, great location, beautiful and comfortable home, and sweet pets - I definitely recommend house-sitting for Lauren!
Really nice couple, adorable cat and good connection via bus and train possible. 4/5 bc the mattress is super soft (i bought a camping mat and slept on the floor after first night) and I had to leave early as Maja was coming back sooner than expected- which was communicated and fine for me.
Amanda and Oleg were so incredibly kind and easy going. Amanda went above and beyond, covering every detail in the welcome handbook, along with leaving me a printed out copy, with everything there was to know about Creature and Carvin, the house, any responsibilities and recommendations for things to do, places to eat, and even tips on free parking...anything I could want to know, which was so helpful. Creature and Carvin were both so sweet and lovable, and very easy to care for, which made sitting for them fun and easy. Their beautiful home has stunning views of the mountains right from the deck, and is only a 10 minute drive to the historic part of Santa Fe. This was the perfect sit and I would happily go back to do another!
I've house sat for Kendall twice now and both times have been fantastic! It's a beautiful home in a safe area and Kendall is super communicative and welcoming. Alice and Sadie are two of the most friendly and easy going animals I've ever met. 12/10
Helen and Forrest were so great! Helen was easy to communicate with and has such a lovely house in a cool location. There's plenty of walks nearby. Forrest is a great big baby! What a sweetheart. He is large with puppy brain, so there will definitely be some things getting knocked over if he's excited, the tail won't stop :) and since he is so tall too, like any big dog, keep things you don't want sniffed away from the edge of the counter. You'll see his head right beside your butter tray otherwise 😄 He has bouts of high energy but it is easily tempered by play time and long walks. He does pull and he's quite strong on lead, and is reactive towards other dogs while outside. So we found that letting him have a tennis ball on the walk helped keep his focus off other dogs and the longer the walk or more running he gets to do the better he will be on lead. You can tell Forrest is well loved, and we were happy to have the chance to sit for Helen. Cheers!
