Matt and Michelle gave us a warm welcome to their home. This was the first time that they'd used TrustedHousesitters and were understandably a little apprehensive. Their three dogs range in size from a large St. Bernard cross, to a medium-sized dog, all of whom were very excited about our arrival! However, by the time their owners had left the following morning, the dogs were much calmer. They are well trained and were pretty obedient. We thoroughly enjoyed looking after them. Leo, the largest of the trio, is a real softie and likes nothing more than a tummy tickle. Ozzy would like to be petted all day, and Fred is savvy and very cute! Matt and Michelle live in a beautiful, rural area, and we enjoyed our few days exploring local walks and villages. This sit will particularly suit walkers and cyclists and those happy to enjoy beautiful countryside, great food and wine.
Thank you Marie and Cliff for the warm welkcome! The information was clear, the communication was perfect and Mattie and Muffin ... we miss them! :)
I would 100% recommend this sit! Willow is a beautiful, playful, yet gentle kitten. She is incredibly affectionate and made me feel so loved. She would lie on me on the sofa, snuggle up next to me in bed and follow me round the house. She is very easy to look after :) Katie was great with every aspect of the sit. She responded promptly to any questions I had and made me feel truly, truly welcome in her home. She gave me great recommendations for places to visit and see nearby. It was a privilege to be able to look after Willow and her home. Hopefully I’ll be able to come back sometime for another sit!
